"Went to Ice Cave after lunch one Sunday afternoon and got the matcha Taiwanese shaved ice. It was big enough to share with two other friends :) it was a tasty treat that hit the spot. Great fluffy texture but still very creamy and milky which satisfied my sweet tooth. It included mochi pieces and peanut and chocolate flavored candies. When I ordered I didn't realize there would be toppings and I didn't have the option to choose, but I still enjoyed the toppings that I got. They don't do sit down so make sure to plan ahead since it's getting colder. Luckily there are some nearby parks if you're looking for a place to sit. Really enjoyed Ice Cave! If I were to make a modification, it would be nice to have the option to pick toppings or for it to at least be clear on the menu!"
"So excited to have some refreshing guava slush after a long day of shopping! Loved all the options they had here. Would highly recommend getting a drink here."

Visit Restaurant Page"Just had to write a review since I've been going to S & Pfor over a year and I see Mr. Wish opening up. I personally feel threatened and victimized by MrWish if they make my favorite Boba place move elsewhere because I don't like Mr. Wish lmaooo. S & P makes some litttttt drinks, fruit and milk tea wise. They also offer milk foam and fancy rainbow drinks you see at Vivi. Plus, drinks here are cheap. Usually my Boba cost 3.80 and I don't need to drive all the way down to Chinatown for decent Boba. If you are deciding between basic b-Mr. Wish and S & P, go to S & P. If you really wanted Mr. Wish, they're literally popping everywhere like a rash."
"Still my favorite boba place in the world (lol even against places I've been in Cali)Oolong milk tea (30% sugar, no ice) large $6.25 - strong tea flavor. Not just soft and milk.3Q oolong soft serve ice cream $6.50 - really good flavor and texture this time. Texture is hit or miss though. Sometimes it can be too grainy or icy"
"This location has changed hands a few times since I originally came here. Its a small business tucked into the outside hallway in the Oregon Market where there are about 5-6 other businesses... Not a huge menu, but they do offer a few more items other than their Vietnamese hoagies. Standard price of about $4 per sandwich. It's been remodeled since the last time I was there. Although they got my order wrong, I still enjoyed what was made... If I'm in the area and want a quick bite to eat, I'd try this place again."
"*This review is for takeout only*Have you ever heard the term " Fair to Midland"? I know, I know. I'm showing my age with this term, but it's the best I can describe their food. If you haven't heard the term, it means Average, Mediocore. This is how I feel about Ban Ban Asian Bistro. The service was fast and came warm.We decided on the General Tso's Tofu, my daughter says it was just ok. We gave it 7/10. General Tso's Chicken, pretty good, 8/10.Vegetable Spring rolls, pork eggrolls, and the pizza rolls were all dry! I would never buy these again! Finally I got the Basil Beef dish for my husband. The beef was not eatable! Just bounce off your teeth! I'll be nice and give this 4/10. Conclusion: Some things were just ok, but will not order from this place again!"
"I love their bowl with 8 scoops of seafood, with all the veggies. It's not the cheapest meal in the mall, but the value is excellent. It's works with my diet, and it's delicious. The service is also first rate. I often recommend this place to friends."
"We got a team takeout order via DoorDash and the food was made so fast. The food was amazing. We were super surprised by how good the rayaki fries were!! I got the black garlic ramen and it was delicious. I'll be back later this week to try out their curry rice dishes. Can't wait! Everyone on my team loved their food."
"Taking a stroll in the neighborhood of the side to stop by to get some bubble tea. I was surprised how fair the prices were considering how expensive it can be in this area. The boba tea came in four different sweetness levels which I think was cool. I got Thai tea cuz I'm basic. My Thai tea was pretty tasty and the large size was definitely larger than I expected.I definitely will be back to come hang out and drink some bubble tea and enjoy the plant life."
"I like this addition to the local food scene. We go primarily for the robatayaki - but everybody that's had the raman rave about that as well. BYOB is a big plus in our book. Service can be a little sketchy occasionally , but great price points on the menu and selection. This is on the "regular" list...."
"Saigon Noodle Bar is a great addition to the Chestnut Hill Farmers Market bringing Vietnamese cooking to Chestnut Hill. You can eat at this stand in the market or at a table outside ... or just do takeout as I did. They'll give you a beeper to alert you when your order is ready so you can shop in the market or go buy a beer and claim your outdoor table if you are eating there and the weather is nice. Now the food ranged from great to decent. I loved the Chao Tom! This famous shrimp mixture wrapped around sugar cane is a special treat from the Hue region of Vietnam. At Saigon Noodle Bar it was expertly prepared and the accompanying fish sauce added to its flavors. The Cha Gio were also good and well filled. I like dipping these in fish sauce as well but at this point I was running low of the one sauce portion they included. That became more of a problem to me with my main dish of Bun Thit Nu'o'ng. It was okay but I need some sauce for the noodles, veggies, and salad ... or some seasoning. Fish sauce would work fine but I had used all mine up. Note to restaurant - put in two portions of fish sauce and not just one! Fortunately since I was at home I could make up a nice & spicy Thai sauce (ok I know it's not Vietnamese) and it worked well with the noodles and salad. I don't want to fail to mention that the staff working at this Vietnamese eatery were very friendly ... and probably would have given me more sauce if I had known at the time of purchase how little was included. I would def return to Saigan Noodle Bar but switch up my main course. The Chao Tom, however, I would easily order again!"
"Cheated on my beloved Kung Fu Tea on Saturday and went to Tsaocaa only cuz Manayunk does not have a Kung Fu Tea.I have to say the Thai milk tea here is pretty great, and might I even say, better than Kung Fu Tea's Thai milk tea. This was my first time at Tsaocaa and price wise it's comparable to Kung Fu Tea, maybe a little more expensive, but barely. I like their tall plastic cups too. Probably not the most environmental friendly but they are just a little fancier than the other cups from the other Bubble Tea shops.I don't think they have an app where you can customize and order your drinks ahead of time, but the staff was quick, and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes."

Places like Ice Cave are one of my favorite things about living in West Philadelphia. Even though today was only my third visit (the first was at the previous location across the street), it's already one of my top 5 favorite places in the neighborhood.I'll confess I'm no shaved ice connoisseur, but the popularity of this item on Ice Cave's menu convinces me that I'm a lucky newbie to this frozen dessert since I'm experiencing it here. The mango pineapple shaved ice (which I got on my last visit) is insanely good. It comes with delicious mango bubbles and jelly, and the ice itself, which is a magical cloud of finely hewn deliciousness, tastes so uncannily of mango that I legit consider it to fulfill one of those servings of fruit that you're supposed to get every day (but that I personally never do, but which I now will when I visit Ice Cave).I would order the aforementioned shaved ice every chance I could, except it gets some pretty stiff competition from the boba teas offered here. Not only are they tasty, as most bubble tea is, but what's really special is you can customize them to get them just the way you like. Last year I got the peach black bubble tea, and specified that I wanted it "less sweet." The one problem I've ever had with bubble tea is that I find it TOO sweet, but this was perfect. So today, I figured I'd see just how much customization I could get away with- "taro boba tea with less sugar, less bubbles, less ice!" I declared. The super friendly owner just laughed and said ,"ok, taro boba tea, less on all three!" I forgot how sweet taro already is so next time I I might say "no sugar." Why not? Ice Cave is where dreams of sweets come true, and I do have a lot of dreams of sweets to fulfill!

Whenever I go grocery shopping at Hmart or I'm dining/picking up take out from the nearby restaurants, I stop by S&P Boba Tea. I always order either a Thai Milk Tea or a Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Milk Foam. I'm not a fan of bitter teas, so I definitely like my milk teas on the sweeter side. If you like your already sweet drinks to be even sweeter, I'd recommend asking for extra milk in the Thai Milk Tea and extra brown sugar drizzle for the Brown Sugar Milk Tea! The prices are pretty comparable to other boba places and they also have pretty much every combination and flavor you could ask for. All Milk Teas are $3.50 and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Milk Foam is $5. There is a surcharge for all payments with card. I would also recommend their red velvet chocolate chip & white chocolate chip cookies! So so good and only $1.

Let me preface by saying that when I rate bubble tea places, I usually compare them in relation to Kung Fu Tea because Kung Fu Tea's bubble tea isn't the best but it isn't the worst. It's not my go to spot it's always a safe option when that boba craving hits. And they have a good variety when it comes to milky and fruiter options. For additional context, I usually prefer fruit teas and adjust the sugar level (typically one level below 100% sweetness). After trying a handful of their drinks, I would rank Mr.Wish as being exponentially better than Kung Fu Tea. Mr. Wish is one of my favorite places to get bubble tea in Philly. They use fresh fruit in their drinks and you can really taste the difference whenever you order any of their fruit teas or smoothies. The tapioca pearls are also the best because they are the perfect chewiness and have the perfect amount of sweetness. Additionally, I like that the drinks, even at regular sugar levels are not that sweet. My rule of thumb is to adjust the sugar level to 60% if the fruit in the fruit tea is naturally sweet (i.e. mangos, lychee, peach, etc.) or if it is a milk tea. Otherwise, the regular sugar level is perfect, especially for the fruit teas, because you don't want the drink to taste diluted or too tart. Drink Ordered:* worth trying- [Orange Grapefruit Fiber Jelly Tea with 60% Sugar*]: 60% sugar level is an acceptable level of sweetness but I think it would taste just as good if you didn't adjust the sugar level. The drink is very refreshing and I like all the toppings in the drink (basil seeds, lychee jelly, and aiyu jelly).- [3Q Milk Tea with 60% Sugar*]: Perfect sugar level. If you like milk teas, I would recommend this. The milk teas at Mr.Wish are creamier than your typical milk tea. The 3Q toppings are lychee jelly, pearls, and pudding. - [Orange Green Tea with Aloe Vera and 60% Sugar*]: The sugar level was perfect. Refreshing but just sweet enough that you could appreciate the orange flavor with an equally refreshing topping.- [Snowy Pink]: Blended milk with a strawberry puree. The blended milk tasted like icy milk and the strawberry puree was a bit too sweet. - [Mango Smoothie with Pearls and 60% Sugar*]: Perfect to enjoy on a hot day. The pearls surprisingly do not harden in this drink. - [Grapefruit Green Tea*]: I like how refreshing this drink is. - [Peach Tea w. Fresh Pulp with Pearls and 60% Sugar*]: This is a really juicy drink. I like the combination of the peach chunks and the pearls. - [Kumquat Lemon Fiber Jelly Tea*]: Compared to the Orange Grapefruit Fiber Jelly Tea, this drink is more sour but still very good. - [Apple & Lemon Babo*]: I'm usually not a fan of drinks with sparkling water/soda because I don't like the carbonation but I thought this was quite good. I barely tasted any carbonation. I didn't think the regular sugar level was too sweet. You can't add toppings to this drink. - [Apple Tea w. Fresh Pulp with 60% Sugar]: I thought the drink was alright but the flavor was very similar to the Peach Tea w. Fresh Pulp but the Peach Tea is better because I like the chunks of peach in that drink. - [Tieguanyin (Oolong) Soft Serve w Brown Sugar 3Q*]: If you like tea, I would highly recommend this. The soft serve has a slight earthy flavor but it pairs really well with the brown sugar toppings for the right amount of sweetness. - [Wish Waffle Cake*]: When they used to have the flavor, I thought the matcha flavor was the best. I would recommend eating these as soon as you get them, otherwise, the waffle cake gets a bit soggy the longer you wait. Would I go back? : Without a doubt. The nice thing about Mr.Wish is that all of the locations have been pretty consistent in the quality of their drinks. In PA, I've been to 7 of their locations and they have all been equally good.

I just wanted Bo Kho (Vietnamese Beef Stew) along with a baguette because my coworker kept raving about it! Out of luck since they were pretty much renovating/rearranging the shop. I was able to hold a conversation with the owner/manager and basically was telling me that by Monday it would be a restaurant. A small one, but they wanted to have more options to customers than just Banh-Mi and Bubble Tea. Since I already stopped by and I live all the way out in Delaware, I just ordered their Number 1 Sandwich. All I can say is, I've had better. However, I'll give this place another try at another time.

Love the variety on the menu! Sushi rolls were a hit. The pineapple fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The staff was accommodating and made excellent recommendations. The space is nice and bright and u can see them rolling sushi from your seat. Can't wait until the weather warms up to sit outside!

I had plans to take pics of my food.... Didn't happen. It was delicious though. The spicy miso Ramen and the Gyoza (steamed/crispy wontons) were both delicious. This was my first time having ramen and I enjoyed it. The inside was clean, maybe about 8 tables. There was really cool art on the walls of anime style characters, my son would love it here. Staff was very friendly. My only comment would be I'd like a bit more meaning my ramen, but the flavor was great*edit: I went back again. Took my wife and my son who loves anime. Black garlic ramen was delicious, the fries are AWESOME! my wife got fried rice with chicken and fruity boba drink which she loved. I took photos this time!!
Visit Restaurant Page"So glad I live near this gem! It's refreshing to have a fruit tea/boba spot to go to outside of Chinatown, especially since parking at the plaza is ample and free. Menu-wise, the variety of drinks that they offer there is pretty diverse, from mango pomelo sago to brown sugar pearl latte. So far, I've tried both of these as well as the Yifang fruit tea all with 50% sugar and less ice. Out of these, I liked mango pomelo sago the best. I liked the creamy, custardy texture of the mango smoothie, and the refreshing citrusy aroma of the pomelo accented well with it. Sago was fun to chew, but I would've preferred to swap it with basil seeds.Yifang fruit tea was also good, but it's a tad too sweet even at the reduced sugar level. I suppose you could always add more water to lower the intensity and stretch out the drink to last a bit longer.Brown sugar pearl latte was a bit confusing. While the pearls were super sweet, the remaining of the tea only had a hint of sweetness. I suppose the pearls should've been thoroughly mixed into the tea to even out the overall sweetness, but their sugar level was pretty intense that I wasn't sure if it'd be possible. Since I parked my drink in the fridge for a while before I got to it, I'm not sure if this was because the pearls soaked too long in the brown sugar. I'll have to find out the next time I order it.Ambience-wise, I'd say this place is a solid work/study spot as well as a good place to catch up with a friend. I liked the coziness of the overall setting and would love to visit there again."
"Tea-Do does bubble-tea so well! I swear no other boba shop in the city makes better taro boba than Tea-Do! I also got takoyaki to go along with my boba. Their takoyaki is always freshly made and comes out piping hot! It's delicious with the octopus inside and the bonito flakes on top! 6 pieces for $3.50 is also a steal. Tea-Do also has other snack options such as gyoza, onigiri, & edamame to eat with your boba. Boba can be customizable too! Tea-Do is a great place!"
"Service is great. This place is new. They have Snow ice, macaroons, and boba. Come and you won't be disappointed"
"Pho Le Lai is a Vietnamese restaurant located on St. Vincent Street in the Mayfair neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. It is found in the same building as 1st Asian Supermarket, making it convenient to eat and shop for our Southeast Asian grocery needs. Both are closer to our Bucks County home, saving time compared to either Chinatown (traffic & parking) or Washington Avenue (traffic). I was the sole customer when I walked in around 3 P.M. The cordial manager got up from reading the newspaper and seated me at the table next to her and handed me their multi page menu. Another friendly woman came out of the kitchen with a pitcher of cold water, to answer questions and take my order. That was simple - Pho Tai and Roast Pork Banh Mi (This is a pho house, after all.) Ten minutes later she was back with the "Small" bowl of steaming beef noodle soup requested, and a side plate of exceptionally fresh standard accoutrement (sprouts, sliced jalapeno, Thai basil sprigs and lime wedge). I took a pair of new wood chopsticks and flat bottomed spoon from the table holder and doctored the pho to my taste, paying attention to pull apart the nest of noodles lying beneath the surface of the dark broth (Northern Vietnamese style). The flavor profile displayed some depth and had been simmering in a large pot for a long time. It wasn't quite as rich as Pho 75 or Pho Ha, but it was very good and didn't require help from the Sriracha bottle rocket on the table. It was plenty spicy with the addition of the jalapeno. I was content to slurp away and patiently lift noodles out of the caldron and fold them onto the spoon before shoveling them into my mouth. The Banh Mi arrived minutes later. It was a full sized sandwich on decent French baguette, cut in half. Like the pho, it was larger than anticipated, especially for $6! It was loaded with dark roast pork, daikon radish, carrot, aioli and cilantro. I added a long squirt of Hoisin to bring up the savoriness of that combo, and took a bite. From crusty roll through crisp daikon and ultimately tender pork, it was delicious and captivating. It was a complete oral and tactile experience. One of the best sammys I've enjoyed since Ocean Grove, California, the capital of Vietnamese America. Along with China Gourmet, the excellent dim sum emporium also in that building, the presence of Pho Le Lai make St. Vincent Street a strong destination for your Asian taste buds and culinary needs."
"It's super chill in there. I've never been to a boba place that also had chicken! Service was fast and there's plenty of outdoor seating so that was an added perk. Met a friend here for lunch and I tried the sweet and spicy and the soy garlic boneless wings along with the beef dumplings. The dumplings were juicy inside and crispy outside and the sweet and spicy was genuinely spicy it had me crying and snottin a bit but I enjoy the spice. Definitely have to come back to try the other flavors, I was thoroughly impressed. I had a boba too and it was good but even "regular" sweet was a bit sweet for me. Still delightful though! I'll be back!"
"I would drive by here often and always wanted to try after learning they serve Vietnamese egg coffee. I brought a friend along so we can try few things. We ordered banh mi (with ham), Vietnamese coffee, egg coffee, and pandan waffle. We loved everything we ordered! I just hope they expand their banh mi menu in the future. My egg coffee expectation was met with a wonderful glass of hot Vietnamese coffee with egg and condensed milk foam on the top. Pandan waffle was good with just the right flavour of pandan. What I like about this place is the owner is super friendly and helpful. She pretty much told us she can customize the drinks to our liking. The space is a nice size with enough tables where you not sitting tightly close to people from another table. Truly a gem! I hope their business will be successful and stay here for a long time!"
"I was impressed with the sushi and sashimi quality especially because I didn't have high expectations. I got their sushi and sashimi platter and I really enjoyed it, especially I have to say the quality was amazing and it's comparable to some of the high-end sushi restaurants and omakase I've had. My least favorite was the chef's choice sushi which I didn't know what it was but didn't care for. The service was good. I will come back again to try the other specialty sushi and sashimi."
"Bunny Bubble is a must visit in Ridley Park, PA!!!!During my recent visit to Ridley, I had the pleasure of stopping by Bunny Bubble Tea. My cousin let me know about the place, and thought I should try it out! Let me tell you, it was an experience worth cherishing!!!! From the moment I stepped in, I was warmly greeted, and welcomed with such genuine hospitality, which set the tone for me. After perusing through the menu, I decided to order the Taro Milk Tea, with agar jelly, and asked for it to not be too sweet, which is how I normally order my tea. I've had it once before from a different place some time ago, and did not enjoy it. This, however, sent my tastebuds to paradise !!!! The drink was just an overall pleasant, and delicious treat. It was rich, creamy, had subtle notes of vanilla, and to be quite honest with you, also had hints akin to that of a fresh, butter/sugar cookie!!!! The agar jelly, as opposed to regular tapioca boba pearls, added a delightful texture that made each sip an indulgence for me; A perfect drink for a hot summers day! For real, it's one of the best drinks I've ever had. What impressed me equally was the customer service. The server who took my order went above and beyond to make me feel valued. He was very patient, cordial, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. As it was my first time there, that's literally everything a new customer looks for. The friendly smile, and enthusiasm he had for his place of work was contagious, and just further showed the love he had for what he does!!!!The interior was vibrant, and cozy, plus the decor was charming! It added such a lively energy to the shop, and reminded me of one of my favorite FroYo places that I go to regularly. It's a great place to bring a significant other on a date, or just chill/relax, and catch up with some friends or family members, unwind, and enjoy with your fresh beverage in hand!!!!What stood out to me was the vast array of options that they offer. Whether you are a bubble tea enthusiast, or just a curious first timer whose never had it before, there's something for everyone! From smoothies and fruit based teas, to their milk, milk foam, and signature teas, their menu is a treasure trove of options! This is also true for their types of boba, jelly, and other add ins!!! In conclusion, Bunny Bubble Tea has won me over with their outstanding bubble tea creations, exceptional customer service, vibrant ambiance, and extensive menu. Without a shed of doubt, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ridley Park or its surrounding cities in DelCo. I can't wait for my next visit to try more of their amazing options!!!!"
"Stopped here for lunch while doing some after-Christmas shopping. I like the location because there are plenty of other food options nearby, so if you're with a group like I was, everyone can get what they want and then meet back at one of the nearby tables.I got the hibachi meal with chicken. There are several protein options to choose from, some of which add a $1 premium. You can also pay slightly more for two proteins instead of one. For my base I went with fried rice, and finally for my dipping sauce I selected their Ginger Sauce. The chicken had nice flavor and was mostly good, save for a couple of pieces that were too hard/chewy. I really liked the stir-fried vegetables that came with the meal, and found that each vegetable was cooked nicely. For example, the broccoli was soft and tender, while the onion and zucchini retained some crunch. Just how I like them. The description for the Ginger Sauce I chose said it went best with seafood, but I still liked it with the chicken. It had a little bite from the ginger along with some sweetness. One disappointing thing about the meal was the fried rice. There was so much of it but I found it to be dry and not very flavorful. I barely ate any of it.The hibachi meal also comes with miso soup, which is a nice touch. I just wish it had more miso flavor.Service was good and and everyone behind the counter seemed to really be hustling because the place was packed on my visit."
"Pretty good! Love the variety on the menu and the people here are super nice. The katsu don was a highlight- one of the best in the area.My only complaint is the serving size for the sushi was quite small in comparison to other sushi places. Would avoid getting sushi here tbh, their other options are pretty good and there's no reason to get a tiny roll for $15.The brown sugar boba was bomb. Got it with strawberry pearls which was a nice touch. The tonkostu ramen was pretty good, too.Overall they're pretty good but could definitely improve in terms of sushi serving sizes."
"i'm a little mixed about this establishment. I ordered the veggie spring rolls, and the veggie fried rice. the fried rice was actually great (i'm quite picky about fried rice) but it had lots of stringy egg. the spring rolls I LOVED!! BUT they were so tiny!!! so so tiny! and for the price, there are better finds for spring rolls that aren't so tiny! other wise, great place! I haven't eaten in so I wouldn't know about the restaurant itself and I am only speaking on the food I ordered! I did like how many vegetable options there was since I am vegetarian. will go back- but will try to order something more bang for buck!"
"What a cute bubble tea place! The decor is modern, not overwhelming, open space concept. They have LOTS of bubble tea options, and I love Oolong tea- which they have. Most bubble tea spots don't offer milk alternatives, but this spot has almond milk- a major win for my family. They also have snacks, Asian jewelry, and a SUPER CLEAN bathroom. Great customer service, and I'm an immediate fan. Check out the boys enjoying their drinks-"
"The bbq spare ribs were incredible! So good, had a nice little bit of char, delicious depth of flavor and I could sit there any eat it all day!The house special pho was okay not great. In my opinion, it didn't have very good depth of broth. I would say it's not bad, but not great either.Ambiance is nice, clean and friendly. Prices are reasonable as well. It's in a nice mall that seems very up and coming. Overall if you are craving pho, this spot is not bad. If you want barbecue ribs, this spot is amazing!"
"Love this place in New York and so glad to see it opened up here in Philly! Decoration is cute, drinks come out fast, and there is always decent amount of seating when I come."
"Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10If you want omakase-grade of sushi for a great price with friendly service and chill vibe atmosphere, then come here. We got sashimi and sushi combo + chirashi bowl, a la cart: chutoro, tuna, and fatty yellow tails sashimi along with unagi nirigi sushi. If only our stomachs were big enough for more, then we could order more. We cannot wait to come back to try other items on the menu and Poke too."
"T cafe never fails to amaze. Today we got a custom birthday cake. I will say the flavor is quite subtle. I think it could do with a little more sugar in the cake and the icing. However, if you don't have a sweet tooth but want a cake, this is great for you. We choose the pink ombré icing, plain vanilla cream, vanilla cake, and fresh strawberries. On top we're fruit, candy, and waffle cones filled with two different flavored creams: mango and red tea. Although the price is quite steep at $55 the packaging and beauty of this cake is well worth it if you want to go for a show stopper. I've also tried their crepe cakes here and they are really delicious. My favorite is the mango, but the matcha is great as well. Those are $11 each but they are pure heaven."
"We were in the area and kids wanted Boba, so yelp led us here. Glad it did! There's parking behind the strip of restaurants, ten minutes free if you push the button. Chatting with the staff we learned thst most of the options are lactose free, good news for me! I enjoyed the 30% sweet pearl milk tea. Not too sweet at that level, with enough Boba to satisfy our urge. Kids liked their 60% sweet teas. Fast service, def recommend this place."
"Fun boba spot in Chinatown!Nice place to set up and work, easy to walk to but obviously not much parking. Located right beside the arch.I like the mix of flavors, but I wish they offered less sweetness in the drinks. Maybe they do if you ask, but it wasn't advertised or offered. The taro slush was yummy but the flavor was a little drowned out by the overwhelming sweetness. The boba was soft and chewy, just as it should be.The mango fruit tea was good as well and the lime helped cut the sweetness, but it was still hard to drink much because of the sweetness. The fresh mango was nice too. Overall this is a good spot, but definitely ask to dial back the sweetness if you can."
"Delicious well done dragonfruit cold tea with its different layers of flavors from different ingredients they give it for the color, presentation, and taste. Two friendly workers in a very small working area. Hard work. Open area. Wish they had a private area to breathe in. Seating is just the food court for people who want to stay in the building. I avoided this Mr Wish for awhile because there is a more local shop in the same area that makes similar shakes and teas. Nothing caught my attention from there this time so I finally "gave in"!When I think of the name of this place, I remember being a 90s baby with that song "I Wish" by Skee-Lo. (Rolls eyes)"
"As a Korean, I am so glad that Koreana opened another location in Philadelphia because they make the best Korean food in Center City. I ordered Yukgae jang (육개장) which is a soup made with gochujang and beef. The broth is similar to soon dubu jjigae if you're familiar with it, but more rich from the beef added to it. It was a very delicious yukgae jang to eat on a cold day. It contained onions, scallions, and lots of bean sprouts. I also ordered a bulgogi rice bowl (served in a dolsot). It was also very good! I wish the bulgogi had more marinate drizzled on it. Gochujang was served on the side so that you can add whatever amount of spice you like! The sunny side up egg on top was great too. The store has a fast casual vibe, so you pay upfront and then you can sit down. The owners were polite as well. They also provide a service where you can buy kimchi and some homemade banchans/side dishes along with Korean snacks and drinks that you can take home. I'm excited to see more Korean food in Philly!"
"BOBA ON THE MAIN LINE? Yes please! Come check out this cute boba shop on Lancaster in Ardmore right near Party Land (the address is incorrect in google maps, it should be east Lancaster not west. Right near Ardmore music hall.)Anyways, the aesthetic is so cute and plant-based. There's 2 big tables and one small table and honestly they need more. I went with 2 friends around 3:30pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. We had to wait a while for our order to be taken because there were only 2 people working there (one was a little boy who was so polite, well-mannered, cute, and helpful.) He helped make drinks and his mom, I presume, made the rolled ice cream which was very popular and looked really good. They have flavors that places in Philly Chinatown don't have! The boba itself was good. The tea was good. I asked for Matcha taro and I don't think they were used to mixed drinks yet, and it wasn't very even. It was still good, though! I'd come back. This is great boba and a great location and a great family-owned and run business. I need to come back to try the rolled ice cream!"
"Really nice place. Clean, bright and lots of choices! Tried the Singapore noodles with chicken and shrimp. Hearty portion for this dish, had to take some home. If you are into bubble tea you should like this place. Friendly service and a fast kitchen. Tried the bubble waffle w cookies and cream ice cream on top. It's worth a try!"
"So my kid is somewhat of an anime expert and I'm a n00b so with the gimmick of an anime themed restaurant I thought to surprise her and come here for lunch. Even before getting out of the car, she was looking through the side door and said something to the effect that there was an anime character she recognized. We got inside and were seated quickly in one of the nine or ten booths available with five empty before 12pm on a Sunday. There were also a dozen or so tables set up for groups of four. My kid was able to point out about 95% of the characters on the walls, statues, and figurines and also what the red neon clouds on the ceiling represented (I don't remember). To order, the paper menus are on each table and you mark on the side what you want. The food came out rather quickly and very tasty. My kid was more than happy to point out how to correctly pronounce some of the foods as she recognized them from "Food Wars."To drink, my kid had a mango milk tea which she quite enjoyed and I had a nice sweet Rainbow Cloud in which about a quarter of the glass was loaded with chopped mangos and blueberries along with some kiwi slices. There was too much ice and not enough drink but being able to put the ice in the separate water glass made the task of eating the leftover fruit an easier one.For food, we shared the fried squid appetizer which was tender and not overcooked. I thought it looked small in portion but we each had enough and the mayonnaise dip it came with was good. The pieces were small tentacles. The ramens were very good and came in decent sized deep bowls. The fried chicken and the shrimp tempura came separate but with the ramens. I almost thought it was a wrong order to send back but was advised this is how they are served. The chicken was an exceptionally tender single sliced thigh with a great coating. My kid said she mostly liked the tempura but thought it was too much batter. She only got two with the ramen and thought three or four should have been given. The ramens themselves both featured chicken based broth with a hefty amount of noodles, a so-so poached egg, nice grasses and gingers and we finished them with our chopsticks and plastic ladles. Service was fast but as the restaurant filled up, you could tell that they could have used more help on the floor to assist. The bathrooms were mostly clean but I've been in worse. There's more hand-painted anime in there, too. It was interesting to see other people who know about anime pointing out all the characters on the walls and how they relate to the anime world.I felt that the food was a bit on the expensive side, but we both had a great meal and really, that's what your coming for - good food. Especially that chicken.$67 including tip for two adults. One appetizer, two teas, and two ramen bowls. We would come back."
