The food is fresh and tasty. But expensive. Service is good. There are a lot of self-service cash registers. The ambiance is friendly.

Line is upper long and the people working here don't seem to care. Place is dirty and there is no way this place meets fire codes.

I went here the other day and I was truly delighted that a small but great store finally emerged in the area. This is definitely a major upgrade from the fresh grocer that once lived here. Upon entering, you already know it is better as there are shopping carts and a wood aesthetic on the floor. There is also a Starbucks immediately to your right when you enter. The food selection is also very good. There are so many great food options available and they have a good selection of these foods. Most things that you may need to cook dinner will be available here. I am also very happy with the organization and care that these food items are arranged. It is so much easier to find what you are looking for and there aren't random food in the wrong soots. The alcohol section is huge and many options are available. They also sell cake by the slice for only $5. It is very god!I am very happy with this new food store so close. It will definitely help the area and improve the quality of life here.

Acme Market recently opened on the corner of 40th and Walnut Street. It's open from 6am-11pm everyday. There's a parking lot available as well and it's free if you spend over $25 at Acme. There's a Starbucks that's located right at the entrance of the store. Acme is currently limiting the amount of people allowed into the store and masks are also required. Check online for their weekly offers and coupons!Overall Acme is a huge improvement from the Fresh Grocer that used to be at this location. It's much cleaner and more organized. However, the labeling/prices for their items are often incorrect so make sure you're double checking! Also, it is more expensive and without their weekly deals, some items aren't worth it. They have a limited selection of vegan/organic products but it's pricey. I was impressed with the beer and wine selection they had, however they don't have hard liquor so you'll need to go elsewhere. Alcoholic purchases are done at a different counter and make sure you have your ID on hand. The lines for the cashiers/self-checkout are a bit confusing since the aisles in that area are really tight. TLDR: A big improvement from the previous grocery store that was here, but with that comes an increase in prices.

I rated the old Fro Gro with a 3-star because they generally had what I needed, had a respectable beer and takeaway section, and couldn't be faulted for the incredibly drunk student population.Acme does the same, only with a better layout, slightly better product selection (except produce... somehow they have less variety available at any given time than the Fro Gro did, especially when it comes to fresh herbs).Self-checkout is a little faster here somehow, maybe new machines or just slightly more of them.The real test will be when students return in full force.On a side note I'm confused why there's a Starbucks inside, but at this point in America's corporate trajectory, I'm also confused as to how I haven't somehow become a Starbucks myself.

More people assisting costumers inside store !! Please & Please! The store is clean but we need Assistance

This ACME is the worst. Employees are rude, sale signs outdated and they won't give you the sale. Manager is no where to be found. People who work here won't help you unless you have a question about the department they work in. The do validate parking which is great, but good luck finding someone to man the empty customer service desk. You have to chase down someone to get help from someone else to get someone in customer service to help you. It's a mess really. This is the only ACME where it seems the people working here dont want to work.

I will say, while this ACME location is gorgeous in style, height and space, it wasn't my favorite nor best experience. The items I needed were easily located, and things were organized within the store. Everything was fully stocked, clear aisles and overall it seemed to be kept well.Customer service was quite challenging this afternoon from what I observed and what I was involved in. My cashier was kind & informative but unsure of a few things and the two other employees he involved with my questions weren't kind, engaging and/or guest focused. I had to make two trips within minutes of each other and my second time in I decided to use self-checkout. While I don't enjoy self check-out, I felt as though that would be easier and peaceful.

A lot of healthy and tasty food. Thanks to the staff I was able to find what I needed. The ambiance is friendly. The service was great.

From the stench of rotting produce upon entry to the store to the rude, ignorant customer service, this store is disgusting.
