What REALLY annoys me is the game they play with meat specials - basically, they are non-existent. You go to the trouble of clipping their stupid coupons, then show up at the store and POOF! somehow they are out of stock. I think they must cut and display all of a half-dozen packages. Then they give you the song-and-dance about how they'll give you a coupon for it when it's in stock again - and then, you do, what?, keep coming back to look for when the meat is in the cooler again? Not buying it. I'm hunting for a new place to shop, this one will be relegated to emergency duty, when I have to get something in a hurry and have no other options.

Stopped in here on Thanksgiving morning because the wine I purchased for dinner the day before exploded in the freezer (I don't know why I put it in there in the first place) and the state stores were obviously closed. Had a hard time finding the wine section and had to ask. It was not in the aisles like at other supermarkets but in its own separate room at the front of the store next to the Starbucks. It was a very large, well organized area with plenty of stock and comparable pricing to the regular liquor stores which is awesome because I have found some serious price gauging going on at places not run by the state. Before leaving I wandering over to the seafood department because I had a craving for crab legs that I wanted to indulge in after the big turkey dinner the next day. Now if you were not aware the price for these has gone up astronomically but it all comes down to how bad do you want it. The case was piled high with product, all legs in tact and huge. I've seen them go for a similar price at my local ShopRite but they were no where near as big as these so I got them. 45.00 for two clusters but I was happy.

"ACME" food market is a local food store chain. It's very popular in Philadelphia. I like the size and beauty of the store. It's not very organized in some Isles, but for the most part you can find what you're looking for. It partners with Starbucks, so that part was busy. The store also has a wine and beer house added. It's worth mentioning the modern look to the outside of the building. It's pretty much set apart from all the other buildings around. I liked the store, but felt a lot of things you I needed, they didn't have. I walked to two other stores and they had everything I needed for my football game. I still would come here to shop, it's comfortable, they just need more selection to make me a loyal customer .

This is a really great Acme and a great overall grocery store in the Philly metro area. I will drive from Fishtown all the way to this location for the great shopping experience, as it is much better than offerings more local to me. The selection is pretty good. I don't buy many "aisle foods" and shop mostly fresh food. Quality is always great. As with most grocery store chains I wish there was a bit more focus on carrying local coffee (beans from Starbucks, Peets, etc. are terrible), but there are plenty of other places I can go for that.

Acme was stuck in the 70's for a while there but is finally catching up. Nice remodel and contempory lay out.I must say, however, that having a very "big boned" employee standing IN the doorway so that you have to pass within 2-3 feet to enter next to signage reminding shoppers to maintain 6 feet distance not the most genius thing I've ever seen.

This store is spacious, clean and easy to get around. Staff are friendly and helpful and the store appears well stocked. Parking is convenient and the wide aisles really make shopping easy. Prices are competitive with other area supermarkets.

This location is closer to me than the Passyunk location but I find myself walking the extra blocks because the Passyunk store is ran so much better. Snyder location has so many expired items - in every department too - its embarrassing. My most recent trip on May 6th I saw: moldy salami in front of the deli. 6 different expired juices in the grab and go drink section. Tons of moldy fruit. Boxes of taco shells that expired in 2022. Mussels that were harvested over a month ago and should not be allowed to be sold, nor should they be in the case. Honestly most of the fish looked cracked and not fresh. I come here out of convenience but its really annoying to have to check the expiration date on every single product because y'all dont know how to properly sort and stock.
