I came in for Sunday brunch, just to try this place out. The inside is really cool, it feels like a bar/club/restaurant. The staff could have not been nicer to me. They had gave suggestions when asked which I like. I ordered a shrimp appetizer and shrimp & grits. They prepared the shrimp 3 ways for the appetizer bbq, garlic butter, & a spicy sauce. All very good. The shrimp & grits were solid. I really liked the creamy grits, similar to polenta but still gritty. (Gritty in a good way) they did the shrimp here blackened style with a squirt of butter on the shrimp on the grits. There is a good spot for shrimp & grits close to my spot now. This place was really good and I will be back.

Typical Black owned metro Atlanta business with poor customer service. Tonight was my 3rd time dining at this establishment. Arrived at 8pm, drink orders taken around 8:15-8:30, drinks came out maybe 10 minutes after placing our order, food order placed BEFORE 8:45pm, my food and 3 other orders came out AFTER 10pm. I let the "Manager" know I was on my way out and she can keep the food and she proceeded to say she couldn't remove any food from the check. Lucky for the "Manager" and the entire establishment, a lady in our party decided to take the chicken Alfredo I ordered as a to go meal because i definitely wasn't paying for it on my way out over an hour after I ordered it. That Manager was going to have to call Cobb County and the Austell PD out to do nothing because I wasn't paying for a meal I didn't eat. This was my second visit to this establishment 3 months apart and they still couldn't figure out how to place and present orders in a timely fashion. The first visit in June it took 15-20 minutes to place and receive drink orders then another 30 minutes or so to place food orders then another 25 minutes to receive the food! Then checking out at the podium at the door took another 8-10 minutes per person because they couldn't figure out who ordered what. The crazy part is the lady that served us in June somehow became the manager by the end of September and still couldn't get food out in less than 30 minutes or cash out the correct orders. I ordered 2 drinks and she rang me up for 1 so I had to help her to ring up both drinks do I could pay and go! The second time I went was for a line dancing class and I just ordered a drink from the bar, but it took a little while for the guy working the bar to present to the bar, take an order and make the drink. It's an absolute no for me...I won't be back!

The choice was this place or Escos( word of mouth is Escos service is really slow on a Saturday) so we opted to try Phenomenal instead. Well bad call. 1 bartender out. Another waiter went back to school and 2 waitresses left and went to a cigar bar down the street. Unfortunately after our drinks we were forgotten about until closing. The owners(i think) apologize profusely and still got out food to go which they comped. I can understand how hard it is to get good help post COVID, so i will go back because the food was delicious.

Girl, let me spill the tea about my night out at Phenomenal Seafood. So, it was my friend's birthday bash, and we decided to dive deep into the sea of flavors at this spot, right? The vibe? Cozy and tight, with a hint of that hookah smoke swirling around like it's tryna join the party too. And let me not forget to mention, they were pouring those drinks like they were trying to test our limits - baby, those cocktails were strong enough to send a mermaid spinning! Now, onto the feast. Your girl kicked off with the Rockefeller oysters. Honey, these babies were like the pearls of the ocean - dressed up and ready to impress. They did not disappoint; they were giving everything they were supposed to give. But, hold up, we gotta talk about the seafood gumbo. I was all set for a flavor journey to the heart of the sea, but this gumbo had me wondering if the chef was in a salty mood, 'cause, baby, it was like a salt shaker got loose in there. Not the best, not what I was vibing for. It kinda threw off my groove, you feel me?Let's talk service, though. The staff was on point - like, really great. They were sliding through that cozy space, making sure everyone was taken care of, filling up those strong drinks, and keeping the vibe right. It's like they knew they had to make up for that gumbo mishap. And y'all, I gotta give a shoutout to the hookah action. It's not every day you find a seafood joint where you can puff puff pass while you're munching on ocean treasures. It adds a little something extra to the night, you know? But real talk, would I go back? Mmm, it's a tough one. The vibes and the service? Phenomenal. The oysters? A dream. But that gumbo left me salty, literally and figuratively. And a girl's got standards, you know? So, I'mma have to say it's a no for me, dawg. Phenomenal Seafood, you were a moment, but we might just have to stay as a one-night fling.

I take back my review because I just received a email saying I posted an inappropriate photo..with no explanation..such BS...you need to focus on your customer service and quality of fresh seafood instead of discrediting my professional Yelp elite photos. I will never patronize a petty overpriced pub as such again. Now as I remember it was my beautiful face on my off day ..wow you don't like to see customers enjoying their food. Such Goofs!!!

Nice cool calm local seafood bar off E W Connector Austell, GA. Up front, staff go Way out of their way; Very Kind and Helpful; been here many times.Anything u need, they gets it.There are 6 wide large TVs in dining area in case u need c the game. Playing over speakers inside- contemporary hip hop / pop, I think :)Honestly dug their food, cooked practically right in front of u, come out piping hott. The 'Cajun' spice blends were v cool, vibrant, and alluring. The fried Oysters were above avg. for a GA 'Seafood Bar' ; regarded well by regulars.Their Salmon & Shrimp n Grits certainly nothing to sneeze at. Check out their pastas & varying Gumbos as well. Don't laugh- Asked for their hottest hot-sauce - got Tabasco :/ I'll definitely b back for their combos, and the SO kind service. :)

Great food, drinks and service. Dined here on a Saturday night for a birthday party. The owner as well as the staff was super attentive. We all had chicken wings for the appetizer and they were crispy, juicy and flavorful. I also had the shrimp po boy and they did not skimp on the size of the amount of shrimp. Nice atmosphere with a DJ. Highly recommend!!

I hate to give a negative review because our Food was really good, but the service was absolutely horrible. The worse I've experienced. The waitress was on her phone the entire time. I had to ask her to service my family the entire time. I had to also ask her to check on our food. The manger had to let her know to come get our food because she was on her phone. I normally don't leave negative reviews or reviews at all but I want this business to do well. The service wasn't it.

Went for a birthday party that a friend was having there. I had checked out the menu online earlier in the day. Nothing really caught my interest, so I ate before going. It was St Patrick's weekend, so I ordered a Guinness and a Jamison. They are on the trend of a lot of Atlanta area restaurants/lounges that automatically add a gratuity to the check. So, those two drinks plus the 20% tip came up to $19. It's a nice vibe.

We went on a Wednesday around 7. Parking was good. Our host/waiter was good. I ordered a tequila sunrise. It was good, but it came in a plastic cup. We also got a hookah and it was good also. I got the red snapper. The flavor and breading was great, but it was a little tough because the skin was left on, but at least I knew it was really snapper. The broccoli and the mashed potatoes were also good. My friend ordered the catfish. It was delicious. My only complaint other than the snapper being tough, is that is was really loud in there for that early on a Wednesday. It's was like a Midtown/College park vibe in Austell. I don't know about that, but that just me personally. I've lived in the area for a long time and I've seen a lot of good restaurants come and go in that spot plus there's a spot a couple of doors down that seems like a similar type thing. Hope it makes it.
