I had lunch here at Peru Gourmet a week ago. It's in a strip center with plenty of parking available in front. Inside it's a small restaurant with about 8 tables and is a table service eatery. Upon recommendation of the owner/manager I went with the Lomo Saltado entree for $19. The meal arrived in less than 15 minutes and consisted of strips of filet mignon marinated and sautéed in a wok with red onions, tomatoes and yellow peppers all bathed in a red wine sauce. The meal was delivered by a lady working in the back without any utensils. The owner/manager was busy the entire time with a party of eight people who were obviously friends of his chatting away so eventually the lady came back out and I asked her for utensils which she then brought. I didn't think the meal was anything special taste wise. The filet mignon wasn't as tender as I had hoped and I couldn't taste much of the red wine among the veggies. It was a 3 star meal in my opinion at best. The french fries that came with it were the regular frozen out of a bag style. It was an average tasting meal with poor table service and therefore no reason for me to return.

My wife and I go here all the time because it is in our neighborhood. My wife loves el chufe which is a seafood soup. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, unpretentious. The owner is a nice guy. He usually waits on us.

Lights out delicious! First time here and tried the signature dish Lomo Saltado. The filet mignon is super tender and flavor profile of gravy intensifies the grilled onions and peppers while the rice and fries compliment the dish very well. Also ordered the Bistec a lo Pobre and empanadas de carne. Going to try the rotisserie chicken next.

This small restaurant is Full of flavor!! we were a party of 4 sondecided to order multiple plates to share. I must say that all their plates were amazing. One huge recommendation is to safe space for dessert!!! They make their own desert and are amazing. Recommend their tres leches.

This was my first time coming here, but it won't be my last. Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly owner, who gave me great recommendations. I got the lomo saltado and two pork tamales with picked onions. Lomo saltado is tender filet mignon and savory brown sauce on a bed of white rice and French fries. I was unsure about how the fries would taste, but it works! It was so good that I wish I bought two plates. Nice portion size too! Tamales were delicious and the pickled onions complemented them very well. Washed everything down with a can of Inca Kola, a Peruvian soda. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Delicious ceviche! My friend has been raving about this place, so I finally tried it. I got the fish ceviche and it was great! The sides of corn and sweet potato were new for me but I liked them (only wish for larger portions of the sides)! The fish was fresh and a plentiful portion. I ordered spicy so I was struggling through the meal. My friends ordered lomo saltado which was also tasty, although probably a bit overpriced for the portion for me personally. The flavor of the lomo saltado, although not original in flavor, is good and familiar and reminds me of Vietnamese Bo luc lac, one of my favorite dishes. The shop is very hole in the wall with 8 tables. Service is a bit rough because the workers are in a separate area you can't see but they were nice enough! Bring cash!! Definitely recommend lomo saltado or ceviche.
