Good service. Very Boston, straight forward, so be ready when you get to counter. Nice selection of sandwiches and salads, freshly made when you order. Very fresh. Also pickles! Get pickles. Be aware there may be some nuts here, so either confirm with chef or eat elsewhere (when traveling with my kids I generally eat elsewhere due to those issues). Also staff was all masked up. Which is nice.

Best. Sandwiches. Ever. I enjoyed my porschetta sandwich immensely. So much so that I wanted another one, to snuggle with during my nap so that I can have it again as a snack post nap! My child thought that was ridiculous because his sandwich was even better. We really felt badly that we were not with more family and friends to partake in such greatness!

I discovered the Pennypacker food truck in Boston's Dewey Square and decided to try the porchetta sandwich. There was a long line which was a good sign and they were turning over the orders quickly. The sandwich was in dense ciabatta bread with large pieces of moist pork, crunchy skin, and a sweet jam. The porchetta was delicious and authentic. It's a fatty and heavy sandwich, some greens would have been a welcome accompaniment.Overall thumbs up....save those pennies and hit up the Pennypacker :)

This is the source of the best sandwich I have eaten in my 22 years on planet Earth. So rare to find a place like this - just two chefs cooking by hand, noncommercial feel, focus on high quality yet simple ingredients. There's a quote that says that perfection is achieved when there is nothing left to take away, and that's exactly how I felt about my roasted mushroom sandwich - just enough depth without being an overly complicated dish. Roasted mushrooms, cauliflower cheese mix, fried shallots, and greens on soft floury bread that tasted like it was just baked. Total perfection. Can't wait to come back and try all of the other sandwiches on their menu.

Cranberry and orange relish, Apple/pear butter, lemon pickled fennel....step away from the kitchen and let the sandwich artists cook their works of art! You know the old saying that goes "the best foods are always the simplest"? Well that's an absolute lie. Pennypackers is dishing out what is easily the most complex sandwiches within a 100 mile radius. In this case, complicated is good, complicated is very good. Between the Porchetta, duck confit, and chicken sandwich, you'd be hard pressed (see what I did there, sandwich joke lol) to find a better sandwich anywhere. I won't even bother describing, some things only a facial expression can explain and apparently Yelp hasn't created that option yet....For the life of me I can't figure out why these guys still remain under the radar. Perhaps it's the lack of parking combined with no T rail access. Oh well, more seating for me :-)Quick notes: -Space is limited, so consider order to go- most sandwiches come in either half or whole. The whole will definitely fill you up- I hear the soups are to die for. Will definitely try on next trip

GREAT sandwiches. The brick and mortar location is nothing special on the inside, but the sandwiches are delicious, huge and change regularly so there's always something new to try. We tried the tomato mozzarella, porchetta, baked zucchini and BLT so far - all were great and I will continue to be a loyal customer!

Came from Chicago for the weekend and seen there was a food mall. Which was great because you're able to try a variety of food but Pennypackers was not it the beef brisket sandwich was super dry and the bread felt super hard. The mac and cheese was okay felt like it was Panera bread style. Overall 4/10
