Pearl Chinese & Japanese Cuisine

This is the definition of an ok place in my mind. My wife likes the food here when we order. She enjoyed her pineapple chicken. And my son asked for seconds on his chicken and broccoli. So we have fans in the house. I like being able to get sushi when everyone else wants Chinese so it works for me. My sushi selections were decent. I've had some better sushi around here for the price. I've also had worse. It's one of those cases where there's nothing wrong with it. But it's not at a crave level if you know what I mean.

No complaints. Food tastes fresh. Pick up and delivery service is friendly and prompt. Typical Asian fare but very consistent. Always good flavor and does not disappoint. General Tso's is worth a try and they have a good variety of pizza rolls.

So me and fam randomly not so randomly came here tonight after helping some friends house hunt nearby. Afterwards I was like "oh hey honey, we're passing the Chinese/Japanese restaurant I've always wanted to try...can we go pleaseeee?"She replies "Oh Morris, I don't wanna try somewhere new on a random weekday. wWhat if we don't like it?" And I'm like "Because I dunno, Yolo?" She rolled her eyes and agreed to partake in this newness..And we weren't disappointed!It took a hot minute to get seated, but afterwards we ordered and the food came out in a good 15 minutes. I ordered the general tso chicken like the basic foodie I am and my wife ordered the spicy Tofu with veggies. Lawd was the food surprisingly spicy and in a good way! It was also arguably the best general tso I've had in terms of texture and sauce flavor. Portions were plenty too. Even the string beans that came with the tofu were good. The price point was a tiny bit high and i didn't like the $8 per person minimum and the automatic gratuity for parties over 5 because that's so early 2000s, but overall it was a great experience. Def will go back for the $6 lunch specials.

I have rode by this spot many times...I finally made it in. Ordered a General Tso lunch special and sushi. I really enjoyed the fried rice. I mean Tso chicken is Tso chicken - it has a little sweet and a little spice. Everyone can't do rice right, but they did. The sushi was good as well. I would try them again. Loved that I could order online and it was ready when I arrived.

I have enjoyed Pearl for many years and forgiven the little mistakes all places make, especially when they are super busy. However, my family and I had a large order and the egg foo young was missing. I had also called ahead, to confirm a chicken dish was not fried and it arrived fried. When I called to explain something was missing, I was told I was wrong and it didn't happen. Then, as I had someone drive over to show them the receipt also didn't show it was crossed off, they yelled that they didn't make any of the mistakes. They eventually agreed to give us an egg foo young, since we paid for it, but I will never go back to a place that treats their regular patrons like petty thieves and liars.

This fast food Chinese spot is better then the rest.. food taste very fresh. I really enjoyed the shrimp rolls. I ordered the triple crown dish and it was ok. Maybe because I'm not a fan of fried food/ chicken. The breaded chicken put u in the mind of general tso dish.Other then that I will say good place to get your ChineseFood from. I will try them out again and order something different.

Um. No. Not this place, and I'm only saying this because I used to go here years ago when it was Asakura Plaza. But in recent years, every time I've tried food here, I either get lackluster food or bad service or both. And I always wonder why they don't take pride in the place by replacing the peeling, cracked sign and the fading rooms. If the place looks rickety why should anyone eat here? In DELCO, Kawa and New Leaf sell the same entrees and provide a MUCH better food experience.

there was an insect in our food and the restaurant claimed they don't keep the back door open. That's not an excuse. I've ordered from Pearl numerous times with no issues. Won't order from them again.

Ordered take out from here and it was really good with exception of the spring rolls. I'd totally go back though and really like the extensive menu and options. The food was ready for puck up when I arrived and the inside looked clean and nice.

Stopped by to place an order, while ordering a roach was crawling on the glass right by my face, needless to say, we left immediately. Thumbs down
