Peak Of The Vine

This is a very cute place in Apex! They have wine tastings on certain days of the week. If you don't make it there on a tasting day, you can order a flight to try some of the favorites. The bar tender was VERY knowledgeable of the wines and their processing. I was very impressed as I have a very distinct taste that I enjoy. He was able to find the tight wine for my enjoyment! Please get more low seating indoors.

Great place if you want to have a glass of wine and relax. Great service too. They have variety of wines and they are willing to give suggestions for those who are not familiar with wines

This is one of my new favorite spots in Apex. This wine bar had a great selection of wine and a good amount of seating available both inside and outside. In addition to wine you can order beer. I liked that the wine options were visible on the board along with the prices. All of the staff members were friendly but we mainly were helped by Kevin and he was awesome. Check out their website and/or social media pages to see what events are going on each day. I (and my husband) can't wait to return.

Fun place to get wine by the glass, and they also have a good selection of beer on tap! Seems like they usually have live music. It's an intimate space, but also has a nice outdoor area.

I never thought I'd be the guy that goes to a wine lounge regularly. I mean, sure I like wine as much as the next guy, but usually good beer is what I want when I'm out.But since my wife and I stumbled into Peak of the Vine because they had a refreshing sangria special during Apex Peak Fest, we've become regulars. We're as likely to drive downtown for a glass of wine now as we are to open a bottle at home. Need to taste 2 or 3 or more wines before making a decision, doesn't seem to bother them at all. And if you can describe what you're in the mood for well enough, they usually hit with the first recommendation anyway. And come by on a Friday or Saturday and the place is rocking with live music.

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! I came with a group of friends that are regulars so I followed their lead and ordered a Pinot Grigio. The wine was delicious and the customer service was friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend this wine bar if you're in town and want to relax and have a good time.

So I just discovered this awesome venue in downtown Apex. It's a cute place that I've seen patronized by local wine enthusiasts (they offer unique wines every single week as well as membership to their wine club), and families hanging out in the outdoor space while the parents drink wine or beer and the kids play with the oversized tic tac toe or other games. And of course it's a great date night venue with live music on the weekends and food trucks a couple times a week. I've been back a few times and it's a different experience each time. Oh and they are also dog friendly which is awesome for me. I haven't partaken in their retail shop/liquor bar next door called The Cellar, but I've peeked at it and it looks like a fun place to have a small party or just get a drink in a less crowded space, on like a Thursday night.I'm summary, I think this place is really great since it's so versatile and the wines are good! Why not come check it out?

Great place to hang with friends... however, they were consistently out of the wines we were interested in. About 5 wines of the 8 we asked for. The service was very slow at first because the Barman was the only one there. Towards the end of the night someone else made it in. The employees were very nice! Ordered a charcuterie board as well. It was good as was the wine we ended up ordering. Give this place a try!

Nice selection of wines, although not many sweet ones. When the bands are inside it's a bit loud, but I still enjoyed have games and a nice couch area. You can bring your wine out back where they have nice chairs. They also own a cocktail bar next door, but I was confounded by the rules that didn't allow me to buy a cocktail there and bring it into their wine bar, which literally shares a wall. So I found that limiting. Why not just bust a doorway in the wall? I'm sure there's some stupid state law standing in their way...or maybe just a visionless landlord? Still a fun place to go though.

I'm writing the review as I enjoy the live music. Everyone here is nice and welcoming. I can't wait to come again, and I haven't even left yet. Great wine selection, clean and comfortable. A must-visit. I love wine lounges off the normal beating path, and this spot will remain a go-to spot on my list. The live music is everything. Very entertaining. Lawrence, Kevin, and the one female staff here tonight are all very nice and have helped accommodate our wine preferences.
