Patronies Pizza - Wake Forest

I'm from upstate Ny and always looking for a great pizza! Patronies was awesome! Delicious and toppings and salads were great too! Great atmosphere too! Highly recommend!

We ordered takeout, a white pie, and a regular cheese.It was cooked well and hot when we brought it home.I would go back, but prefer the flavors from other establishments.

Teetering between a 3 and 4, really more like a 3 1/2. The ambience is nice and clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was definitely great, although it took awhile for our order to come out. Was pretty crowded as it's the newest pizza place to hit the area. The hours are a bit shorter than most places as it's open from 4-9 5 days a week. As for the pizza, let me preface this by saying I'm a New York pizza snob and that makes it hard to come close to my standard. They're story is that they are from Brooklyn. To me, the pizza was just ok, not mind blowing, not horrible, just ok. 3 star. It's a sauce thing to me. A bit too sweet and too saucy and needing more cheese. The dipping sauce for the garlic knots was very buttery and nice change from the usual marinara. The cannolis were perfection. They do offer several other pasta dishes and heroes so I might try those next time.

I literally never write reviews but this place is so ass I literally downloaded yelp because I don't want y'all to make the same mistakes. I really didn't know it was possible to make pizza taste so bad. My mom and I ordered from here instead of our usual Marco's and despite the restaurant being sat literally right next to our neighborhood the food arrived cold. This was a Tuesday and the parking lot was empty. I got a Hawaiian and both the ham and pineapple weren't cooked at all, just canned pieces and ham slices too big to get in one bite thrown straight on top of a cheese pizza. My mom got a No 4 calzone and she received a No 2 with half the filings missing. But the worst part was unequivocally the crust. I didn't think you could mess up crust so horribly. I know people say it tastes like cardboard as a euphemism, but this crust tasted like literal, actual, delivery box cardboard. It wasn't chewy or crispy, but instead impossibly tough and took a good couple minutes to get through a single bite. There was no seasoning either on or in the crust, just bland, grey, used chewing gum. Whatever we were served here should be considered a crime against humanity. If you're thinking of eating here you'd be better off doordashing Tostinos.

Started with unsweetened tea got sweet tea. Ordered garlic knots. Received pizza dough cut in strips and folded over. Nothing on the dough just dry dough. Was under cooked and very doughy. Not hot see pictures. Pizza was a supreme. Toppings were sparse. See pictures. Crust was very thin and wimpy. Cheap thin Paper plates for food. Decor was nice but food was not worth my time.

We love this pizza place! After countless messed up orders from our usual pizza place, we decided to give patronies a try! Their pizza is delicious-the sauce is sweet. We usually enjoy a lightly sauced pizza, but the heavier hand on the sauce has surprisingly been really enjoyable. Everyone who works there has always been kind and the service is always quick and wonderful! The interior is such a cool throwback. There are vintage items and signs everywhere; I find myself just looking at all of the cool stuff they have in it. We also ordered extra toppings and they loaded it up. My husband and I joked that it was the first time we have asked for "extra xyz" at any restaurant and actually got it! Found our new pizza home for sure!

My review is based solely on Take out. We called once about 25 minutes before they closed to find out their hours. We called back at about 20 minutes before they closed to see if it was too late to order takeout. Madison was very pleasant both times and gladly took our order. We picked up our order a few minutes before they closed and it was hot and fresh. We had a pepperoni and extra cheese. It was cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. We will definitely order again. Sorry no pic as we were really hungry when we got it home

Best pizza and food around! Salads are fresh and yummy! Great service and the owners are attentive to their patrons!

Have gotten take-out several times and the pizza is better than most in Wake Forest. Ate inside today for the first time today and the pizza, calzone, and salad were quite good. However just above our table was a large banner for "Trump....2024." Petronie's manager is certainly entitled to his/her political views, however, it would be nice to simply be able to sit down for lunch and not have to be distracted by reminders of our political division. I would feel the same way were the banner for Kamala Harris. Given the everyday bombardment of election news. ads, and contentious discourse, I would encourage Petronie's to continue serving good food and leave the politics at home.RKP, Wake Forest

We went to Patronies for the first time. The staff was super friendly and helpful . And the pizza was amazing ! Highly recommend them!!!
