Excellent food. Unobtrusive and quick service. The flavors and spice level are authentic Thai.

Why 5 stars? Because the green curry and coconut sticky rice were exactly what I hoped for. --- --- ---My wife and I were in a deep rut as we were both struggling to decide where we wanted to eat. We talked about approximately 18 different places, but we ultimately landed on wanting to just pick something up nearby, and she was craving Thai food. Our favorite Thai spot is closed on Sunday's, so we opted to try out Patra's. I'm really glad we did, because they had some of the best green curry I've found in the area. I love green curry, but wasn't necessarily craving it during the midst of day 4,000 in a row with temperatures over 100 degrees. However, I'm so glad we went this route because I loved it. Did I get too excited to eat and forget to take a picture of it? Yes. Did I start eating eat too quickly before it cooled down, resulting in a burned tongue? Yes. But it was worth it. Now I'll just have to go back again for a proper photo!Mango sticky rice was not on the menu, but we saw photos of it, so we asked if it was available, and after a brief hold, it was confirmed. They had it, and it was glorious. Recently when I've had mango sticky rice, I've been disappointed, but this rendition was great and it was a very large portion, too. Another item available not on the menu: Thai Tea. I was a fan of Patra's version, but my wife who normally loves it, was not. Take that for what it's worth. On the same note of my wife and I disagreeing, she loved her Pad Thai, while I thought it was just okay. Maybe I suffered from going from green curry to her dish and my taste buds were compromised, but I thought it was a bit overwhelming in terms of sweetness. It almost tasted like it had honey all over it. Still, this was not my dish, and I loved everything else, so 5-stars it is!

Walked in hoping to have a good dinner and received just that. The service was friendly, kind, and willing to make accommodations. The food was delicious, delivering complex flavors that worked together well and were thoroughly enjoyable. Genuinely my only complain of this spot is the awkward sitting in some areas. The couches and chairs are often too high leading to an uncomfortable sitting; however, it is totally manageable and is overpowered by the great dining experience. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

The food here is excellent! I have tried multiple dishes from Patra's on several different occasions. Each time the food is fresh, delicious, and can pack some great spice. If you love Thai spicy food this place is a must try. If you prefer non- spicy food, that's not a problem, just let them know you don't want anything spicy. The service is friendly, and the Thai food is by far the best I've found in the area.

Tasty food! Seriously, the best drunken noodles I've ever had. I let them know that I have a shellfish allergy and they told me they have a substitution for oyster sauce they could use for me. I was nervous but it paid off! I don't know what they used instead, it it was phenomenal. The service was outstanding and timely. Our server was a younger gentleman and gave great suggestions. We got spring rolls without a protein. They were good but I can tell they don't make vegetarian rolls often because it was a lot of lettuce. The peanut sauce was decent but I prefer it a little sweeter and it was really spicy! My husband loved the spicy green sauce they give with the fresh spring rolls. My yellow-curry-loving son ordered the Panang instead because they didn't have yellow curry. I've never seen a Thai place without yellow curry, but we barely missed it. My son ate a ton of curry and if he had been more hungry, would have definitely polished it off. It was a lot of curry! The ambiance was nice. Even though from the outside it looks like a tiny place, it felt clean and polished inside.

Amazing food! Been a couple times and already committing to make it a weekly spot. Everything is very fresh. Made to order so you have to wait a bit but it's soooooo worth it. Frame is such an attentive waitress. She makes you feel like family and is helpful in deciding what to try. We have tried curry, fried rice and noodle dishes and all of it had been scrumptious. Like can't put the fork down good. Cozy. Clean. Comfortable. Can't wait to go back next week!

Delicious, authentic, fantastic, flavorful, and so much more! If you are looking to satisfy your Thai cravings in the Magnolia/Montgomery area, then Patra's is the place for you. My grandmother is constantly craving Thai food, and she has recently moved into the area. We found Patra's and fell absolutely in love with the place. Inside, the place is beautiful, clean, and with plenty of seating. Almost feels like you have been invited to dinner at a family's place. The customer service is spectacular, our server was so friendly and made us feel so welcome with his suggestions and incredible aura. Patra's menu is stacked with many delicious options. We ended up having an order of Shrimp Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, and the Traditional Pad Thai with Chicken. We are weaklings when it comes to spiciness, so we asked to make sure none of it was spicy. Just typing up this review is making my mouth water. All the food was absolutely perfect. The Fried Rice has tons of delicious and big Shrimp. The Wonton Soup was delicious, and was such a big portion, that we had to take some of it to-go. The Pad Thai was heavenly. An absolute mesh of delicious flavors, textures, crunch, and just all-around goodness. This has become the go-to Thai place for us in the area, if you're a fan Thai, you MUST check it out.

Cafe style authentic Thai place. Next door to waterfall cafe. Clean, attractive decor, beer and wine. Has some more exotic variations (i e. Jungle Curry) than typical. Pricing is unique in that there is a base price and you add "protein" (1.50 - 2.95) -- but even vegetarian is a +1.50. Mild here comes out as American Medium. Slightly pricier than other local Thai places. Prompt service.
