Giving 3 stars because even if this is the most delicious cake I've ever tried, it still won't be worth the hour wait in the lobby with no bathroom access. They messed the top of the cake up and didn't tell me until I tried to pick it up at the pickup time. Once I was there they decided to let me know the cake was messed up and I needed to wait for them to redo it. I came here on a schedule and now I'm an hour late and there's no bathroom and this is so messed up. Update: Got the cake, below you will see greasy fingerprints on the top decorations. They don't use gloves apparently when topping the cakes, see picture for proof.

I've been ordering from Pastel Boutique for about 2 years now and I've never had any issues. The flavors are amazing, cake is always moist and flavorful, and the decorations are top tier. They use top quality products for cake decor and every birthday party I always get compliments! The best in Houston. It's so easy to order too via Instagram!! I'm making it a tradition to order whether it's cupcakes or cakes. Just know, you will keep coming back for more.

First and last time ordering from here. I think I'm better off getting a cake from any other bakery like arandas or el bolillo. It was a last minute order I would've preferred for them to tell me they wouldn't be able to do it then spend $155 on the cake. The bread itself was hard and SUPER dry. The decoration on it were falling off not even an hr after I picked up the cake. Definitely not worth the money.

I hope everyone who even looks at Pastel Boutique on Yelp will take the time to stop by and eat a cupcake. Better yet, order your cake there. You won't be sorry.I was looking for just the right thing for the newest baby born into our family, and was having trouble finding anyone who delivers to that part of Houston. I found this bakery on Yelp and "took a chance."I am extremely particular when it comes to all things creative and special. When I "see something in my head" I count on it being executed by the professionals who see my vision and perfect that. Normally, however, I am present, there are drawings, and plenty of time to get it "right". Because of the time issue (wanted it sent that day) and I'm 200 miles away, I had to trust they would get it right. Pastel Boutique did not fail. They went over, above and way beyond in their efforts to bake, design, and deliver on extremely short notice, as well as provide outstanding service to both me as well as my sweet nephew and niece and their brand new baby.I so appreciated their continued contact with me via email and telephone in letting me know what they had available as well as when they were delivering. As soon as the cupcakes arrived, my nephew sent me a text of thanks with a photo of the cupcakes. They looked even better than what I had envisioned! He said that when they opened the box the smell was unbelievably enticing!Of course, the ultimate test is in the eating, which they and other family members enjoyed to the fullest. All agreed they were absolutely delicious, fresh and as good as they smelled! I've been coming to this bakery for years! Every time we have a big event I only trust them to handle all of my cakes, cookies and cupcakes! They are talented when it comes to themes and decorations. It's always a BIG HIT at my parties and so many people have asked meWho does my cakes. Very pleased with the service as well. I'm so picky when it comes to foods & places but this place is top tier!

Highly recommend! Ordered 2 dozen Cupcakes and 1 dozen Cakepops Animal Crossing theme and turned out amazing! So delicious. Was able to add in extra dozen of cupcakes to my order 2 days before pickup. Very happy with my order.
