Passyunk Avenue Philly Bagels

The bagels are awesome but the prices are way too expensive. For example, I want to order a Breakfast Sammy and an apple juice so they charge me like 12 dollars. With that money, I could go to Dunkin' and get myself a breakfast croissant and some hashbrowns and maybe a donut. The staff is friendly and if you dont want something on your bagel (For example me with my no-cheese breakfast sammy) they will not add it. Also, don't go there if your in a rush ( I've been late to school because of this) because if you go there and it's crowded, the wait will be like some 20-15 mins.

I was in town from Baltimore. Absolutely perfect service, delicious bagels, excellent lox cream cheese. Would 10 out of 10 recommend and go back again next time I'm in town.

For the last year, this place is inconsistent with the hours you never know if they're gonna be open or closed, most of the time you just waste your time showing up. A lot of annoyance for mediocre bagels.

Tried it again and again the service was ridiculously slow. They had no clue what bagels they even had so 10 minutes after I ordered I was informed that they didn't even have the kind I ordered. They really need to get an actual kitchen since it's basically a college dorm set up. It's not worth the wait for an average bagel.

Bagels are terrible here and expensive.. I had better bagels from Costco.I went at 8AM on a Friday, which for a bakery should be peak season and the freshest time for bread in the morning and ordered a breakfast Sammi on sesame bagel. It came out to like $9-$10 for an egg, cheese, and pork on bagel. Pretty expensive when they didn't even pan fry an egg. I would be okay with that if it was a great bagel however mine was totally stale and old. It must be yesterdays bagels, what type of bagel shop uses old bagels?Not planning to go back again, I'll just go to Whole Foods for a bagel now. It's unfortunately since there isn't too many other bagel shops on passyunk Ave.

I think they are trying, but they seem to be overwhelmed. The wait is always way longer than I would expect for some simple bagel orders. While I was waiting 25+ minutes for 2 egg and cheese bagels, I witnessed multiple incorrect orders, including not having bagel / cream cheese flavors that were placed just minutes before. When our order came up, it was wrong. There was bacon on the order, but we're vegetarian, so we couldn't just ignore the mistake, take the incorrect order, and go on with our day. After a bunch of discussion in the kitchen they started to remake our order, but after a bit came to tell us that they were now out of the bagels we wanted. I asked for a refund, which I'm hoping processes successfully because they had trouble finding it in the system for 5-10 minutes. Based on previous experience, the food, when actually delivered, is not amazing and certainly not worth the hassle. I wish them the best, but I plan to get my bagels at one of the other spots along Passyunk Ave.

The place is a hit n miss.Sometimes they mess up my order even though it's not complicated,Today I came in, both people working had their backs towards me after I said hello.Like 5 minutes of awkward silence passed and the one person told me they'd be with me in a minute. Then they started chatting with eachother with their backs turned and after 4 minutes I was over it.I just wanted to have a nice morning and the energy in there definitely ruined my morning.

I arrived there shortly after 8 AM Saturday morning. I was immediately helped. Literally 45 seconds after I placed my order, they had my toasted bagel with cream cheese, wrapped, and in a bag ready for me. It's like they already knew I was coming! The cashier associate was very helpful and recommending the bagel and giving me information about their coffee, I love coffee! I'm definitely going back since I frequent the South Philly Passyunk area The coffee wasn't bad,, she mentioned they would be switching roasters. But it was a tad too expensive for not being Lo columb lol! although it saved me a trip into the city so that was a plus!!

Reviews don't do this place justice, at least for the hot honey. This was the best bagel sammy I've had in the city hands down. I got the sundried tomato bagel and jalapeño cream cheese

Service was outstanding and the veggie Sammy on sesame bagel was perfect. The cucumber, tomatoes, onions, capers, and romaine are all fresh. Made the sandwich delicious. The girl at the counter was nice and friendly!
