Solid service. Solid italian food menu with many traditional favorites. Personal favorites included the lamb, the lobster bisque, and the huge portion provided on the charcuterie board. Thumbs up to a great little spot on the Washington Ave corridor.

Went during the week and it was nice and quiet. Food came out normal speed. Service was pretty good. The food was all good but thing that wowed me. The lobster bisque was good but I had only one half inch chunk of lobster in it. Salad were refreshing. Weirdly the pastas we got was either bland or too salty for me. The charcuterie we got was pretty large for a half size. The chicken piccata I wish the chicken stayed crispy but after under five mins it's just soggy breading. The lamb was a winner. Brussels were crispy. Calamari was tasteless with out the sauce. Pizza was packed with mushrooms which was good.

We went for their special Mother's Day Brunch and were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne. Food and drinks were wonderful, and prices were unchanged for this busy day. Highly recommended.

This place is 10/10 from the customer service to the food to the drinks, all is very exquisite. The ambiance is very classy and welcoming. The bartender makes a great margarita, and the stuffed flounder is divine. A superb Italian restaurant and will not disappoint!

Ever walk into a place and were a bit nervous due to the lack of folks? That would be us this evening when we first approached Passerella's. We quickly learned this was not due to the service, the feel or the food. It is simply due to the construction and newness of the ristorante. My husband and I decided to visit on our date night before the craziness of the upcoming week. I am glad that opentable happen to bring up their open reservations for prime time Thursday evening. We started the meal simply with their fresh bread. By fresh bread, it isn't your standard boring loaf. It was full of flavor that you will find hard to resist. We saw some amazing desserts from the start so for our entrees we decided to save room. I had the cacio de Pepe. Man did that pepper with shaved truffle have the perfect flavor. For what would look like a heavier sauce it was amazing. My husband enjoyed the halibut with prosciutto wrapped scallops. I stole one which was great. He quickly devoured his fish along with risotto. I'd say it was a winning special. Fast forward to our dessert... I enjoyed a slice of spumoni. Even while chatting it up with the chef who personally came out, the slice stayed sitting pretty. We were also pleasantly surprised when we were allowed to try a potential upcoming homemade Oreo treat along with brandy milk. I have never been so In love with adult milk and cookies. The restaurant for being a Thursday evening had a great atmosphere. Nothing too crazy. Music playing at a nice level in the background. A family near by with their children. The wait staff along with everyone genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs rather than a lot of places lately that seem to being doing you a favor by simply doing their job. I look forward to seeing the following grow as time goes. I feel that they too should be hard to get a reservation during prime time. The space was plentiful both inside and out.

Champagne at the door? Yes please! Visited for their Saturday brunch with my girlfriends and we had a fantastic time. We were very unsure what to order and EVERYONE one staff from the host, or server Nancy and the chef came out to make suggestions and make us feel completely welcome! The lobster bisque, crawfish ravioli and lump crab frittatas were AMAZING! They do not skimp on seafood like in many other places. The ambiance was so welcoming! We even stayed quite a bit after closing our tab just to enjoy the nice space. It was pretty empty however with food and customer service like that? I'm sure they will become a Houston staple very soon! Great experience!

The champagne upon entry is a nice touch, always appreciated. They have focaccia, upon request. It was very crumbly. The pasta dishes we ordered were just okay. My friend sent back her cacio e pepe. It was yellow, almost chunky? They brought out another to remedy* it. Service was accommodating and friendly. Our server let us know Tuesdays is steak night. I ended up getting a dessert, the spumoni which is a gelato cake and it was good. They don't have a dessert menu (?) so the server went through each dessert with us one by one verbally.

Convenient location to get in and out of. Great parking options- with garage or valet. Wonderful being greeted with a glass of bubbles! We had a group dinner of 16 for Galentine's and the service was A++! The food was really tasty with a good selection of classic Italian dishes-- and a charcuterie which was great for a group appetizer. This team went above and beyond- looking forward to having more group dinners here because of how easy they made it for us and how much fun everyone had!!

My husband and I went on a Friday night a little before happy hour was over. They did not bother to offer us the complementary champagne I had read other reviewers received and the two servers that spoke to us did not share the specials. We also had to ask 3 different people for water a total of 5 times only to receive it after 50 minutes of being there. If you would rather soak in the beautiful outdoor patio than have decent service then this is the place for you. That being said, that experience was very different from the first time we came to this restaurant. If Chef Dixon is not there, then it is a totally different experience. We adore Chef Dixon and his passion for making high quality food. He is incredibly personable and is the only reason we would consider coming back to this restaurant.
