I really had hoped to add a star on a recent visit to this joint to no avail. The atmosphere is still great. It's clean. Folks are friendly. And the specials are good. But the pizza is not New York style. New York style pizza has a thin, crisp crust with a nice chew. The crust here -- just as it was on my first visit -- was floppy with nary a crisp. Sauce and cheese are good. If you want accoutrements beyond Parmesan and red pepper flakes, they have to go ask the kitchen. New York style pizza joints also have jars of granulated garlic and dried oregano. Indeed, these folks were more than happy to go back to the kitchen and hook us up ... but you shouldn't have to do that in a place that bills its pizza as New York style. The "tap house" part of this place also disappointed on my recent visit. They were out of the first two IPAs that I ordered. I settled on a third choice. The bartender was nice enough to comp it. I totally want to increase my rating here, and I plan on giving them one more try.

Parry's is another new fave spot in the Clear Lake area to catch the big game, or for happy hour too! My parents and I were in the mood for a late afternoon snack and wanted to check out the newly construction area. There's tons of TVs everywhere and a large bar. We discovered it was happy hour and ordered their boneless wings, an Italian Chopped Salad, and one of their build-your-own pizzas. The wings were good. Their medium sauce was good, but we enjoyed their garlic sauce more. We loved their chopped salad, and liked how they included artichoke hearts. I could've eaten the entire serving by myself. Their pizza was good with the thinner NY-style crust. The only small gripe is to make sure you pay attention to the fine print on the HH menu because it's $1.99/topping and my mom ordered all the meats. We'd like to return to try their drinks next time.Pro tip: they are BAHFL participants (IYKYK)!

Okay, while not life-changing great, this place has some potential to be where I could watch a game or do dinner on payday in the future.I visited a few nights ago eager to try the hot beef dip. Settling in at the bar, I thought I was going to help myself to the business's attempt at my favorite sandwich in the world, Chicago's iconic Italian beef. Unfortunately, it wasn't that, but nonetheless, I was still satisfied with my meal.I appreciated how it came to me piping hot and overflowing with fries. The restaurant's menu said to prepare for a mess, which leads me to say that it was a good idea for the kitchen staff to separate the au jus. Speaking of the au jus, it brought out everything in the fries and the sandwich. It also helped it was fresh-from-the-stove hot itself. The giardiniera infused the beef dip with some tanginess. And where's there's pizza and brew, there's multiple TVs. I thought to myself I could come back here to catch the Texans or the Astros in the postseason. The staff is very nice. All in all, another solid culinary option in the Clear Lake/NASA area.

We visited Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse on a Friday during lunch time. The restaurant is easy to find and has plenty of parking. There were many patrons walking in and out of the restaurant. The hostesses were very welcoming and friendly. Our party or two was seated quickly. The restaurant was very clean and has a mural of the New York City skyline on a back wall. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed:- Big city bolognese + Parmesan fries - Pepperoni pizza + regular fries The lunch price is very reasonable for the generous portion. We ordered cannolis to go. I hope you give this restaurant a try. We will definitely be back.

Parry's is a wonderful new establishment that popped up recently right in my neck of the woods so I just had to give them a try.Upon first entering, I was greeted by a very friendly, and welcoming staff, a clean restaurant, and sleek, modern painted black brick interior. Parry's walks the line between professional and friendly perfectly in my opinion. At Parry's it feels difficult to underdress but one could most certainly overdress. (Probably not the place for your black tie company banquet lol) The bar staff were attentive to a fault. At first I quite liked the frequent check ins for drink refills and whatnot. It began to feel a tad invasive however when I was asked if I needed anything by one bartender, told her I was okay for now, then not 30 seconds later was asked again by a different bartender. That being said, I'd much rather wait and bar staff be over attentive than under. Now for the food and drink. I ordered a large pizza, half "The Five Boroughs" and half "Brooklyn BBQ Chicken"The Five Boroughs was a delicious pizza most closely relating to a supreme with a few differences. Seasoned perfectly, fantastic crust, and bacon bits that first add a bit of crunch before the perfect rendering of the fat causes it to melt in your mouth.Brooklyn BBQ Chicken was my least favorite of the two but by no means bad. My only complaint was the chicken chunks being mildly dry, but the BBQ sauce was able to supplement some of the lost moisture. My first drink was a strawberry house margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim. It had the perfect balance of sweetness, and citrusy tanginess. My second was a classic frozen margarita. Nothing in particular stood out. Just a quality frozen marg.Overall I found Parry's to be a wonderful establishment and has earned 4 stars in my book. I will definitely be back to try more of their options.Pictured:Large half "Brooklyn BBQ Chicken" half "The Five Boroughs" PizzaStrawberry Margarita with sugar rim

My girl and I ordered the wings. We both agreed that they tasted super. The server was hardly around. But, I still give the place a 5 star. Food is what counts to us.

I recently moved to the League City area and wanted to try a new pizza place with some good, cheap beer options. This place fit the bill. I also joined their rewards program and received a free Parmesan bites appetizer from them beforehand. We got a create your own pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, Parmesan cheese, basil, and minced garlic. The Parmesan bites were soooo good and came with a side of warm marinara sauce for dipping. This portion was HUGE. Could easily feed a family of 5. Our pizza was equally as delicious. It was probably one of my favorite pizzas that I've ever had. My only problem was the service at times. The waitress had to call over the manager and they deliberated about what to do with the free parmesan bites coupon. A little annoying, but it was figured out shortly. This place also has a deal with a $4 pint followed by an additional $3 pint. Great deal, right? I chose to get a couple of pints with this deal and was charged for two separate $4 drinks instead of one $4 followed by the cheaper $3. It was quickly fixed, but still, slightly annoying. Regardless, this place is well worth trying for the food! To me, that's what matters most, so I'll definitely be back! The various flat screens playing sports were well positioned as well, so this is a great location to watch sports while getting some top tier pizza and pasta.

My friend and I came to Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse to check out the Webster area's newest pizza joint. It joins a bunch of new restaurants and shopping options on the north bound side of 45 across from Baybrook Mall. We came bright and early when they opened for lunch so parking was plentiful in this shopping strip and we were able to be seated right away. The dining area is nicely set up with plenty of seating and lots of TVs to catch all your sporting needs. They also have a nice patio outside. Our waitress was super friendly, but service over all was a little slow. I chalk that up to it still being kind of on the new side and going through some growing pains. Management did round and check on everyone frequently. I don't usually eat that early in the day, so we skipped on appetizers even though the selections looked great. The pizzas come in two sizes, 14" or 18". We opted for an 18" with one half being The Pearl and the other half I Love Meats. I like they give the options to choose two different specialty pizzas without any issues. The Pearl gave us a chance to try one of their white pies. It had ricotta, Italian sausage, tomatoes, minced garlic, fresh basil and Parry's Parmesan mix. I love a traditional tomato sauce base, but I really love white sauce base. It had a nice garlicky taste and the sauce doesn't overpower the other flavors on the pizza like some tomato sauces do. The I love Meats was a meat lovers type pizza which was also very good. They claim to be a New York style pizza, but to me the crust was a little more doughy and soft than what I have had in New York. I was hoping for a little more crispy, crunchy crust. Not only do they have pizza, but they also have calzones, wings, wraps, salads, sandwiches, burgers and desserts. It is quite an extensive menu. What rounds this place out perfectly is the abundance of beers on tap as well. They say most of their locations usually have 70 beers on tap. There is something for everyone on that list.Overall, this was a solid spot for me. I like the variety, the area and food. I will most likely be back to watch some games out here and enjoy another pie!

This place was great! Good and drinks were good (we got the house margarita and the all day frose) and we brought our pup to enjoy the patio. They brought him his own dog bowl to drink out of which was adorable. Kyla was so sweet and attentive the entire visit. We will definitely be back!
