I just wasn't feeling the vibe at this spot. We went on a Friday night after dinner and found myself just standing there. Why?It's a small area. The bar is not that big. There was limited seating. The crowd to me was a little older. The DJ was good and played some great hits. There was no cover charge. If the rest of the Raleigh bars are too full, or you don't want to pay a cover, you go here as a back-up. d

Went here for the ugly sweater bar crawl. The atmosphere is was nice. They had good holiday music playing and even Christmas movies playing on the tv. The interior is also very nice.The drinks weren't memorable. The young lady next to me was drinking Prosecco she waits normally they put gummy bears in but they had ran out. I still ordered one. I also ordered the drink special the Christmas morning which was wasn't bad tasted like cranberry limeade. I'm not sure how normal Saturdays are but it was pretty busy when we went due to the bar crawl. Our bartender wasn't friendly and was kind of grouchy. Not sure if he was not used to the large crowd or just having a bad day. He explained what was in the Christmas Morning but his customer service stopped there.

I love coming here! The whole aesthetic is such a vibe! I personally love it here because Glendwood is always supperrrr packed and this place just gives me the break I need! Staff is amazing, drinks are well priced. I think because of the whole covid situation it's been slow all of Glenwood but 10/10

Great drinks, good atmosphere - nice bar with additional outdoor seating. Bartender (Richard) gave amazing service and was super friendly. Lovely atmosphere, definitely stop in for a drink!

Bad. Really bad. Made to look upscale yet has the sort of bartending staff you expect to find at a trashy college bar. I'm pretty sure this is lipstick on the proverbial college pig.

Parliament does a wonderful job of providing a cozy, yet classy atmosphere. When you pair that with a cold drink and a superb staff then you've got a little slice of paradise right here in Raleigh. If Richard or Johnny get a chance to grace you with their presence you'll be happy they did. Great people, great environment. 5 stars

Nice place! A small, classy place with a little bit of old school funk, and not overly pretentious. I'm not in the area as much as I'd like, but I try to swing by when I am.

I was a member of a 90s bar crawl on Saturday March 30th. My friends and I paid eventbrite to participate in this crawl through downtown Raleigh. The crawl started at 3 and Parliament was a bar included. My friends and I arrived at 5pm since that's their normal open time and it was near the first bar of the crawl. To begin, the bartender was outside the building smoking and complained when he noticed we stopped to go inside. Veryyyy rude and a weird way to greet paying customers. He claimed to be unaware of a bar crawl - which explains his whole demeanor and also reflects on the poor communication. Other groups at this point were beginning to enter saying the same statements as us and showing the bartender proof they were on the list (which was unprofessional). The bartender then made specials up off the top of his head ($2 Miller lite, $3 PBR, $5 fireball shots). I asked "what is your speciality cocktail since each bar has one?" He condescendingly replied "sweetie, I'm not making a cocktail special. You heard what I said." My entire group immediately walked out disgusted with how he responded and treated PAYING CUSTOMERS. Don't work in the service industry if that is how you're going to treat those who walk into your establishment willing to give you business. Never will go back. There are plenty of bars in the downtown Raleigh area who would never treat people this way. The bar crawl is what brought me to try out this bar and it's the reason I'm not going back.

Parliament is a new favorite neighborhood bar! It's the perfect place to relax and have a glass of wine after work. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back again!

CHAMPAGNE. ON. TAP. Easily one of the best bars on Glenwood! Great location, friendly bartenders, fun atmosphere. Richard always goes out of his way to make sure you're having a good time.
