Parkers Barbecue Restaurant

It's nothing like N.C. food! I wanted some seafood (popcorn shrimp and fried oysters to be exact). It was late so decided to stop at Parkers! The food was everything and more! Service was ok and luckily it didn't take long for my food to come. I ordered takeout out so as far as ambiance, there's nothing to write about.Of course, when I go back home I'm most definitely coming back. Next time for my BBQ Sandwich and sweet tea!

Our first visit to Parkers was a mixed experience. We had visited Greenville in the past and had heard good things about Parkers so decided to get a take out lunch when driving thru town. Ordering over the phone and pickup went smoothly. The BBQ sandwich was good but not memorable, compared to others we've had in the area. They forgot to include the banana pudding my wife ordered and we didn't realize it until we had driven away. Fortunately, there was another Parkers location on our route and they were nice enough to replace the item when we showed the receipt.

My wife and I ate lunch at Parker's today. My wife had fried chicken with sides and she said it was some of the best she has ever eaten. I had a combination of BBQ and fried oysters. Their BBQ is always great. Today their fried oysters tasted as if they were fresh shucked. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.

A Wilson and eastern NC staple when it comes to BBQ. I usually stop by when I'm in town. The chicken is fried to perfection and the BBQ is always flavorful. On this trip the hush puppies and corn sticks were just warm, otherwise the food was good as always.

The barbecue at Park's is simple and good in every way, and signifies Eastern Carolina chopped pork barbecue. The fried chicken is pretty amazing as well and I would recommend the barbecue and chicken combo.

The place looks very old run down. They did not have red slaw the bbq meat was good and mac&cheese, our corn sticks almost broke my tooth! Staff NOT at all welcoming or helpful with the menu. I went to the bathroom and that was disgusting one toilet bowl was stopped up, plus the floor was wet with who knows WHAT?

Bbq is authentic North Carolina. I ordered, bbq, fried chicken, Brunswick Stew, boiled cabbage and hush puppies. Food came out hot and flavorful. Service was very good and not over bearing. Ambiance is a typical BBQ house

Parker's is average BBQ, good fried chicken and great slaw. However they serve up more plastic and styrofoam than I can stomach. I'll still eat there but not very often. It would just take some small changes to be a better steward of our environment. The world deserves better.

Excellent BBQ and hospitality! Our family (6) was traveling from PA to FL and decided to make this our half way dinner. We ordered from the Togo side by accident and the staff set us all up in the main dining area and we felt right at home! We enjoyed the pork ribs, 8 piece chicken, Mac n cheese, fries, dessert and the best sweet tea to wash it down! We will now make Parker's our regular stop when traveling! food was great. Employees were very nice and helpful. This was my first time at this restaurant. I am new to North Carolina but I really enjoyed this restaurant.
