Moved here 2 years ago and have wanted to hit this joint up. Had some friends over and finally made it here this afternoon. We got 2 Italians, the Ruben and a veggie burger. Everyone was very pleased. Normal day the Italian would be two meals but I was starving today. Italian was packed to the gills. The veggie burger came with a lot of fries. So we four shared them. Plenty to go around. Nice and crispy. I have corner stores closer but I'd rather walk the few blocks to this place. Also decent alcohol selection says my wife. Good selection of drinks.

The food is amazing. Well made, delicious and generous. The atmosphere is Hole-in-the-wall but clean. Kim, the mgr/owner(?) Is very kind and helpful. I came in with a walker and she offered to take care of my order herself. Not that she's the cook but she made sure whatever I ordered was in my bag and brought it to me. Very friendly place. Everything made to order. Excellent quality. My new go to place to eat. Can't wait for the dining area to reopen.

Even one star is too much. I placed my order with them on UberEat around 9am. One hour later the delivery person told me that he was at the restaurant but he was told that restaurant was not even going to make my order. I called the restaurant, a very rude guy answered and told me they were not going to make my order because I didn't order breakfast items, I asked them since they were not going to make my food how come no one notified me an hour ago when I place my order, he just said because they only made breakfast now, and if I had anything to say I can talk to his boss. I asked to speak to his boss then this guy goes on saying his boss was not available.So if you are not even going to make the food you have on UberEat, why even make them available on the app?if you saw my order came in, and you can't make my food, why can't you call then and have my order canceled so I didn't have to wait for an hour to find out myself, and you wasted 4 UberEat drivers time on coming to you and tried to pick up my order.What a waste of everyone's time, never again from this place. People can't even do the basics of their jobs.

They make a good cheesesteak in this spot. They carry beer, soda, snacks, and hot and cold food. You can play the lottery here also. It's a small seating area to sit and eat your food. The salmon and rice is pretty good too! Stop in if you're around!

BEST AUTHENTIC PHILLY STEAK IN THE CITY!! I have been getting cheesesteaks form here for over 10 years and the same owners and cooks have been here forever! Very friendly reliable and consistent service! This place has THE BEST cheesesteaks in Philadelphia-- my personal favorite is the grilled chicken cheesesteak with provolone, green peppers, fried onions, mushrooms, sat pepper and ketchup. I make it a must stop everytime i go back home to Philly.

One of my favorite Cheesesteak spots (besides Sunny's and Jim's)... mostly due to location. Very consistent with great bread and an above average quality steak. It's a good bang for your buck !Update 12/2016: They have raised their prices a bit to the $7 mark. Although they include "free" chips, I bumped a star since feel that the price ratio was the biggest selling point in comparison to other local cheesesteaks.

Racist store do not come here, horrible customer serviceI went to this store today to buy some food and drinks and there was an issue with a transaction onnd my card. When the Chinese owner came out he accused me of trying to steal money from the store with the transaction issue. I even showed him my cell phone with the authorized transaction. He proceeded to call me stupid and say I didn't want to listen to him. Telling me that people like me come in everyday to steal from his store. I was a frequent visitor to the store, this experience was embarrassing and the store owner was so condescending. I am never coming back.

They don't clean their grill enough? I was amazed to learn this - I asked about how they separate cooking pork from beef from chicken. Well, they don't. They clean it once between all day cooking - breakfast ( stops at 10:30a) and it is not cleaned again until they close for food down at ( 9p)? Not cool. And, definitely not a good Covid-19 Virus protocol. How often are they washing their hands? Finally, they have a guy who wears his mask underneath his chin while cooking. SMH
