What more can you ask for? The restaurant is very clean and they have a good amount of parking space. I've been to a couple of Mediterranean restaurants before and this place is undoubtedly one of the best!

Quick reviewDoing a show at the Genessee Theatre, and this is where they had us order our craft service. A nice diversion from the usual "muska-cholly" and cold chicken, or sports-bar burgers most theatres give us.Fine Beef Kofta Kabab and Rice. I dig a Mediterranean feed.

Very welcoming.This place is absolutely amazing! The couple Mike & Marlene make you feel like you're eating in their dining room at home. Very nice ambiance with a very cool Mediterranean style. Very clean inside. The food was fresh with good size portions. We had a sampler that had a variety of Bruschetta, Falafel, Beef Bourak, and Dolma. As well as the Baba Ghanouj my favorite!! The entrees were so delicious! We had a party of five and everyone loved what they ate. We will definitely come back!

A hidden gem in Waukegan! This place never disappoints. Must-tries: Lamb Shawerma, lentil soup, and Tabboula salad. Don't miss their awesome baklava - sweet with a pistachio (I assume or some other nut) punch! The owner's kindness adds to the experience. Best part? It's a solid 5-star meal at a fraction of city prices. Definitely worth a detour if you're in the area!

The food was phenomenal! I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap but I asked if it was possible to add beef shawarma into it as well and they graciously said yes. It was the best wrap i've had in a long time. At the end they also gifted me a piece of baklava. It was the perfect way to end my meal. The service was beyond amazing. Everyone was super nice and attentive. They make you feel right at home. It's quite spacious as well and there's a lot of seating. It's definitely worth the visit!update: went back and asked for the same thing and was denied. The owner let me know they can't do that. Which is perfectly fine but I didn't like that she said they had to reprimand the poor girl that took care of me that day. She kept going on about how the girl got reprimanded and she didn't know better. It honestly just made me feel really bad. Don't think i'll be coming back. Because of this i'm changing my review from 5 stars to 2.

From the outside it look simple and plain. From the inside it looks like you're walking into a cozy living room. Service was quick and prompt. The mixed salad with lamb shawarma was DELECTABLE. The chicken shawarma wrap was good. It had lettuce and tomatoes and pickles I think so very much of a wrap and not what I've tried at other restaurants. I enjoyed how well seasoned it all was. I know this might be TMI but I did not get bloated. Middle eastern food usually bloats me and this DID NOT. It was so good.

One of the best if not THE BEST chicken kabobs I've ever had. To start the location is very quiet and homey. We walk in and are welcomed by a friendly face. We could sit anywhere and got our menus. It looks like they had plenty of Togo orders and only one person upfront doing dine in and Togo but he did great! The gentleman upfront came to take our order but didn't write one thing down. I was a bit concerned but figured he would get it all.We ordered hummus and falafel to start with waters and ice tea. The humus was delicious and falafel tasted so fresh! We ordered 2 of the chicken and beef kabob combos. The chicken was the juiciest best seasoned I've ever had the beef was good but a little dry and the meat didn't take as well to the seasoning but still really good. Rice and veggies were soft and tasteful. All and all I cannot wait to go back and have it all and more again!

Amazing food and amazing service, the owner is super nice and a great host, you have to make the trip there, the best falafel I had, and I know falafel as someone who grew up in Israel, I had falafel many time in the most reputable places in Israel, and the one I had here is fresh and the tahini and hot souse that comes with it are amazing, you must give it a try!The is also a piano there and might be fun for the whole family!

If you're in the Waukegan area, this place is pretty good. Enjoyed the chicken beef combo and the salad that I had. Would definitely recommend as a takeout place not really great ambience for sitting in and eating there. More like a fast food joint. Would definitely go back if I am in the area.
