New to the neighborhood and finally tried this bakery and glad I did. I rate a bakery on how 2 specific items are made there; their conchas and their pina empanadas. Both were so delicious, soft, and not overly sweet which I loved. Paired nicely with my chocolate abuelita it was a nice treat on a cold morning. I also tried a couple different pan dulces and they all were delicious and freshly baked, super soft.. none of that stale stuff. I also tried their breakfast tacos which were also very tasty but was not a huge fan of the double corn tortillas. They seemed a little thick for my taste but maybe I'll try the flour next time. Anyway, happy to have found this little bakery and bakery will be back soon!

Stopped in to this wonderful family owned Mexican bakery for the first time and was greeted by the nicest people. They walked me through all their specialty baked goods. (This was my first time in a real Mexican Bakery) The variety was unreal! I purchased cheese Empanada's, Cheese Crossiant's and a vanilla filled cone thingy. The flaky crust on the Empanada was wonderful....I can't wait till the morning so I can try the other two items I purchased. If you love cakes and pastries (who doesn't?) and you're in the area stop by this hidden gem..You will be so happy you did! (Oh yea...you will not believe the prices!!!!!)

We drove across town to attend burial services at the Houston National Cemetery (Veterans Memorial Cemetery). Not knowing how long it would take we were too early. So we drove around a little and saw this bakery. I'm amazed it doesn't have more reviews. I was unable to find it on Yelp in order to check in. We tried their Mocha Tres Leches. It was excellent. Only sorry we'll never be back to have it again.__We've eaten out every meal for 30 years

I want to say that I had Mexican breakfast from many locations but this bakery is the best. If you like Mexican cakes and pastries, I kid you not, you will never eat at Arandas. The you lady works at the counter is a trained pastry chef. Everything she bakes tastes damn good. If you are in veterans memorial and fallbrook area between 6am to 8am please stop by at this bakery and have breakfast I kid you not you will never forget the taste. I say this bakery is a 5star and 5 thumbs up.
