I don't frequent panaderias so have little reference point to my review, but we stumbled in this place last night after eating dinner in the same strip mall. They had so many customers pretty late in the evening and when we walked in, the smell of the bakery was intoxicating and they still had a large variety of baked goods available. We tried three different pastries and my favorite was an egg custard pastry that looked a little like a yellow croissant with sesame seeds on top. So moist and flavorful! The price is very affordable and all the pastries looked fresh and authentic. Definitely recommend trying this place out!!

Yum! They roll out fresh-baked goods twice a day. I was next door at Houston Shoe Hospital when I noticed this gem. I bought a bag of goods and everything was so fresh. The palmier was sooooo flaky and delicious. I grabbed a drink of so coconut concoction at the register and honestly can't wait to get another. The couple who work there (and presumably own it) could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Please go there and see (and taste) for yourself.

I went to Panadería Estrella again, they had the most and the best I had ever seen there. I almost always like what I get, but today it was special. The most amount and variety and the freshest and softest bread ever. I am not revealing the day or time, as this might bring negative consequences for me! This bread is delicious!

I love love love love love this place!! I am carbs and sweets #1 fan. Before I knew about this place, I would usually get my pan dulce at an arandas bakery, very inconsistent bread but a staple place where i've been since I was a kid with my parents. I found this place on yelp and was surprised I never knew about it. 5 stars and local/almost down the road?? I had to come by. I did and immediately I was greeted by the ladies, they were soooo kind!!! Asked if I had any questions to not hesitate to ask or if I was looking for anything specific. I came around 9am on a weekday and I was the only person but everything was extremely fresh and stocked! I automatically knew this place was legit when I picked up the first concha and I could feel the tongs pick up fluffiest piece of bread on earth. I could go on and on about each pan dulce I had, but just know every single one I have tried so far was devine. the conchas, the empanadas (pineapple, cream cheese, apple, pumpkin/sweet potato/camote), the orejas, ojo de buey, and a few more I don't know the names. I've been back 4 different times since, and each time the bread is fresh and soft, delicate and exquisite. each visit the service is wonderful as well. in the afternoon is definitely when they get their customers though, I came also around 6pm on a weekday and they had a buuunch of people! everything was still coming out fresh!! nothing out of stock with the amount of people that were grabbing everything.anyways, before I write a ten page essay, 10/10 recommended. 100% the best and now my favorite panaderia *ever*

Stop in here mid-morning and was immediately transported back to my childhood, the smells, the sounds, and the people! My son, who had never been to a Panadería was mesmerized by the cases full of treats. We grabbed a tray full of sweet and savory things. Prices are great! The baked goods are divine!! We will return soon!

Panaderia Estrella is in the Spring area, and they offer a variety of sweet bread and pastries. The Latino community is grateful to have a great bakery nearby with the hours of the business being very consistent and available six days a week. They do have a website that is frequently updated with information regarding the updated hours for holidays or when it will be closed for any emergencies. Speaking from personal experience, the countless times I've gotten sweet bread form the bakery it is always fresh and of good quality. There have been times where they are running low on a certain pastry, and in such situations, they will inform you when the next fresh batch will be completed, and you can pre-pay for them to set aside the amount you want. Once the batch is ready, they will notify you to come back for pick up. The customer service is amazing they will great you with a smile and will continue to comminute or answer any questions if you are asking about a pastry. The panaderia has maintained their business by making their product as authentic as possible. A lot of the Hispanic and Latino community most likely are appreciative of how the bread is made fresh every day. It's hard to find a panaderia that will continue to provide excellent service in not just their food but also with costumers. I have never had a bad experience going to the panaderia. Any chance I get I recommend the bakery to any other Latino who is looking for a panaderia especially since the holidays are approaching and the cooler weather is coming. My favorite part of the panaderia is that they made the sign eye-catching and hard to miss. The name is also something that is very interesting to me. It could have been in English, but the owners decided to select a name in Spanish even when the demographic of the area is split but mainly made of predominantly English speakers. Representing the Mexican culture with a variety of pastries, they offer my favorites: conchas, bolillos, and piggies. Conchas are a sweet white bread with a covering layer that is usually molded in the shape of a shell. The most common flavors are chocolate and vanilla. The piggies are cookies made in the shape of pigs they go great for a snack by themselves or with coffee. They make multiple fresh batches throughout the day. The best thing about sweet bread is that it's not overly sweet no matter what you get. They can be eaten at any time; for breakfast or even after dinner if you are craving something for dessert. Overall, the panaderia has been a great business and I enjoy supporting a small business that has made a big difference in the Hispanic and Latino community. A place where we can buy authentic sweet bread and not have to drive a long distance to get fresh products. The owners of the panaderia made a wise business decision in choosing the location specially because its close to a main highway making it easier for them to be discovered.

Their bolillos are fantabulous!!! Like one of the other reviews, I too meant to go to the panederia down the street which apparently closed permanently. This is such an awesome find! We typically would drive 30+ miles to go get top notch bolillos but now that we've found Panaderia Estrella, we're hooked! Thanks to Angel who welcomed us to their store and got us acquainted with their baked goods. Kudos!
