Palinuro Italian Cuisine

Food was good but the price of their dishes do not go with the portions of your food. Pasta is one of the cheapest ingredients and you wouldn't think you would have a shortage of that. Just look at all the pictures posted, they look like kids plate portions. There are many Italian restaurants in area that will leave you full & satisfied without dropping so much cash.

Food an atmosphere are great. Great wine choices as well. Be aware this real Italian food and real prices ! It's great and worth it!

The Linguine Palinuro was supposed to be "spicy"...perhaps for...Europeans but it was just okay. Pollo al Marsala was extremely tender and flavor was just alright.Frito misto wasn't too bad. I appreciated that breading wasn't too heavy.

Consistently great!! This is my go to Italian. I haven't found a better place yet. So we'll keep going.

This place is absolutely amazing! Our server (male) last night was amazing however the server assistant (female) who help pour water or give bread was not pleasant and didn't even acknowledge my hellos or thank yous. Seemed more overall annoyed. I loved the food, ambiance, and server tho! Also I'm writing this review to say make a reservation!!! Dining room is small. When we walked they did have a table for us however I felt terrible for not having a reservation already. Honestly was shocked they had something there is no reason this place isn't booked solid weeks in advance !And even though I was not expecting the size of this place I was pleasantly surprised by everything else. Perfect date night spot.

Truly some of the most authentically delicious Italian food I've had since being in Italy! The owner was so warm and welcoming. He spent time chatting with us about his background and you could tell he put a lot of love into his space and food. Dining space is small but cozy but we had no wait time.

Although I've yet to find an Italian restaurant that is on par with anything in NYC or Chicago areas, Palinuro is the best Italian I have found thus far for the Houston area.If I were to compare Palinuro with any of the Italian eateries in NYC or Chicago, I'd give it a 3 stars. But for Houston area, it is a 5 star.

Food was fresh but not enough salt or seasoning in the good but overall good .Service was nice and its small place with good ambiance plus great wine options and good dessert.
