I cannot give this place a five, I am only having beer here, but I can smell the good food, see the cleanliness and sit in a clean environment in piece. The only thing I would suggest is they upgrade the front of the building. The interior is a complete difference from the exterior. The inside shows marble edges, beautiful paintings and statues, perfect for a night with the spouse. The exterior shows hanging extension cords and a staircase which scares me as I climb it. But for me, if I were you, I would still risk the climb to see what the food offers. The possibility from the aroma is too yup pass up on. Too bad I am not a glutton.

This is one is the best Indian restaurants in the entire area. Highly recommended. Very good and delicious food prepared just right. Wonderful service. Our spiciness level requests were met, unlike other Indian restaurants. Every dish was made from fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Definitely a restaurant to try.

It was fine. Good delivery time and the food was hot and the order was accurate, it was just pretty bland

Yelp attracted me to this place with the pics and good reviews people posted. Upon arriving at this location, from the outside, it seemed like a run down place; but the inside looked amazing. The owner greeted us at the door and provided excellent service. The food was flavorful and very filling. I ordered the lamb shish kaboob with the garlic naan. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Going for years. Always a delight. My favorites are lamb korma. But to start I must have keema samosa with a side of tandoori roti. I could eat there every week.Nice atmosphere, good service.

We ordered dinner from here through Grubhub but the restaurant actually delivers the food. Not sure why. We never have a problem with Grubhub deliveries but the bottom line is that our food never arrived. The driver called and told me he was at 707 Glenside Avenue in Wyncote, which would have been right across the street from our house. I went outside and there was not a car in sight. I asked the driver if he knew where the Jenkintown train station was and he said yes so I gave directions from there, which is about 4 blocks. He called me back and said he was back where he started!I asked him if he knew where Rices Mill is and he said yes he was just there so I gave directions from there. He never showed up. I called him and he said he was going in a loop! If you keep going in a loop shouldn't you try something else?!I looked on a map to see if there is another 707 Glenside Avenue in Wyncote, and there is not.I spoke to someone from the restaurant who told me the driver was coming back there and would not be delivering our food!!! It was so frustrating not to get our dinner. The restaurant needs to hire drivers who can read a map and follow GPS - or they should let a delivery service deliver the food. This experience was ridiculous!

Recently I wanted to have a party for 50 family and friends. First I was told that the minimum needed to book the separate banquet room was 50 people. Then I was given several menu options. I chose a decent menu with several options which included goat meat for which I was quoted a higher price. I also chose a premium package for unlimited alcoholic drinks ( 3 hours ) for 50 people. The premium packet of alcohol was to include premium brands. ( Note several guests were kids and persons who do not drink so actual drinkers was less). We agreed to the price quoted and there was no haggling or bargaining. The food ordered and paid for was for. 52 people. The premium alcohol package was also for 52 people. Actual people that came for the event were 45 (7 less ).The appetizers tasted good but were barely enough. Dinner was served but not everyone (note 7 less then actual number paid for) were able to get all the dishes offered The goat meat dish which had been ordered by paying extra was finished half way thru. There was no effort to replenish any of the empty containers and by the time the host and hostess came for their dinner, there was nothing left, no that was an exaggeration, actually there was one piece of naan left for them! During the event, the servers and manager were seen by the guests helping themselves to the food which was meant for the guests, now how ridiculous is this? The Manager there who also doubled as bartender was seen drinking, was rude to guests and had no finesse. Even before the event was over he started to hassle about the extra payment due, like the host was planning to sneak away without paying. His numerous talents would be better served in the extortion industry rather than the hospitality arena. To all of you of Indian ethnicity who may be planning events here, please look elsewhere as you will be treated shabbily as though the restaurant is doing you a big favor.A word to the owner, you were not rude like your manager and you did take time during the planning stage with details but everything fell short at the execution level, mainly not enough food!!You must realize that most of your clientele are well established Indians in the area. They are not coming to your establishment to save a buck, and look ridiculous in front of their guests, so why not give them what is properly due? Repeat and word of mouth business is very important in your industry, so short changing one client will never have positive results. Finally, get a better Manager someone who is cultured, respectful and will be an asset to your business.

My son gets takeout every week without fail and he loves it. A wide variety of Indian dishes with a lot of choices for vegetarians. Decor is beautiful- you would not expect it based on the exterior.

I had a feeling this place would be great and it was! I came here not long after an old trolley car sitting outside burned down for some reason. I have a theory that if a restaurant is in a hotel lobby then there's actually a good chance it might be good. The Naan was delicious, the chicken nice and spicy, the Biryani terrific. I could not stop eating it. I look forward to coming back.
