I had the salmon and a drink with vodka and peach purée. Both were very good. The owner told me the salmon would be spicy, but it was not at all. The bread was good, I had to stop myself from eating more The place seemed rather empty on a Saturday night. The owner came over to check on me, he was very nice. I love the set up of the restaurant. They have a nice bar area when you first come in.

Sadly this place was so MID. I've been wanting to try this spot for the longest time due to its inviting aesthetics and also because it's right next to the movie theater whenever I'd go, but it was not worth it. In my opinion, the food was lacking flavor and I left so unsatisfied. The fried calamari was decent, literally just fried with marinara sauce on the side lol. The cacio e Pepe and lasagna were also nothing special. I don't know how to explain it but my first bite of each dish was just very underwhelming. However, our waiter was the highlight of the night with his fun positivity and service. Other than that, I won't be going back.

Didn't even get to eat here because of their poor management. How can a restaurant be running 1 hour behind for people with reservations? The number of people waiting there in the entryway that couldn't be seated at their reservation time was truly astonishing. This is even after multiple groups of people had already left in disgust after waiting and being told vague answers about when they could be seated. If you know your restaurant is going to be very busy due to the Chicago marathon weekend, then you should let the diners know upfront that there will be a 90 min seating maximum for the reservation. This will prevent people from just sitting there when they are done with their meal. In addition, don't overbook the dining room if you can't handle the dinner rush. Overall: Don't bother unless you want to waste your timing waiting.

I hate to be a Debby downer but this was the worst carbonara I've ever had. The sauce was chunky and I swear I could've tasted egg whites? There was no egg yolk in sight and probably only 6 small chunks of bacon. It also lacked significant flavor and the presentation was messy in my opinion.I also ordered a martini and couldn't even finish half of it because it was way too sour. The flavors were not balanced and enjoyable. Table bread was mediocre. Our server was very sweet but one server brought us the wrong wine and never noticed. I wouldn't go back- the food was bad and way too expensive for the lack of quality you get.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try out Daisies when we were in Chicago, but couldn't get a reservation. Instead, we ended up here as we heard Pacino's was quite good and also large and easier to get seating at. I feel lucky it worked out that way, because we had a fantastic experience here! We had the simple stuff, a cacio e pepe and some rigatoni a la vodka. Still, simple done really well is sometimes the best, and in this case it was superb. Our server was an absolute delight as well and we both really enjoyed our interactions with him! Great meal and great vibes overall. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Very disappointed with the food here. To start, the complimentary breads served in the beginning of the meal were staleWhat we ordered:Cozze alla Pacino's - best dish from the night. we really enjoyed this but our server took the dish away without asking if we were done with it...Margherita Pizza - the dough was so thick compared to the pizza toppings. it reminded me of the pizza served in the elementary school cafeteriaBucatini Bolognese - standardRigatoni Vodka - the best out of the three pastas we ordered. it tasted okSpaghetti Carbonara - the cheese separation made the dish very unappetizing to eat. it looked very oilyIf we were to revisit, we will try some other menu items instead

My girlfriend suggested this place in the South Loop and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was delicious! The place was really cute and 2 hours parking is free. However, we stayed over 3 hours and had to pay $12. That just means we were having a great time! The reason why I gave only 4 stars was because the manager was screaming to other workers right next to our table. Non stop. We weren't sure if he was speaking to us and we had to stop mid sentence in our conversations multiple times to accommodate to his screaming just so we can hear ourselves talk again. Other than that, the food was delicious. A little stingy on the wine. So next time I might not order wine for the amount of money I paid. We got the stuffed clams, calamari, linguine di mare, carbonara, white fish and shared a dessert. Everything was delicious and we had enough to bring home. I would go back again for the food alone but no wine next time. If you're in the neighborhood and loves Italian food, definitely give this place a try!

My boyfriend and I decided to do date night and walk to Roosevelt Collection to watch a movie but we needed to decide on a spot for dinner. We decided to go to Pacino's since it was right next door and we had never tried it. The space is massive! There is plenty of dining space with also a wrap around bar that you can sit at and outdoor dining as well. I loved how the decor was and how quick and efficient the waiter was. They first bring bread with olive oil and Parmesan, which was so tasty. We decided to get a bottle of red wine and ordered the burrata for appetizer. I love a good burrata dish! For the main course, I got the cacio de Pepe and my boyfriend ordered the pasta Al vodka. The portions were huge. I could barely finish mine. He was disappointed in his dish because he felt the pasta was not fresh and the sauce tasted like chef Boyardee. I took a bite and felt that it was not very good. Overall, we have had better Italian restaurants but the service was great.

What a beautiful place! It's a large restaurant on Roosevelt's shopping area near canal. The service was friendly and the positions were great! We asked for a salad to be split and they did it for us. I ordered the Chicken Vesuvio (not pictured) and it was an extra large portion. It wasn't greasy, and the meat was tender. Dessert was also delicious! The chocolate cake was to die for! The service was great and were friendly. It's also priced moderately! Not very expensive for the large portions! I can't wait to come back.
