I'd like to start with the fact that this place is a non profit and their mission to hire those with intellectual and cognitive disabilities is very touching as these individuals are twice as likely to be unemployed than the general population. My favorite place for morning breakfast with my son. They added an ice brown sugar shaken espresso that is THE BEST I have tried ever. Service is amazing, Sofia is very attentive. I love the calm atmosphere and their playlist is awesome. The food is delicious, my son loves the ham and cheese croissant. Overall an amazing spot for delicious coffee, great vibes & supporting their mission.

Our whole family loves Our Grounds and love to come here for breakfasts - they have food and drinks that each of love. My daughter always asks to coming here on her birthday. She always gets the Nutella croissant while I love the avocado toast, bagel with lox or yogurt parfait. My husbands favorite is the egg sandwich. My 8-year-old says "the food is very very (x100,000) good!"

We absolutely love this coffee shop! Friendly staff and economical prices. They're a nonprofit corporation that employs adults with intellectual and cognitive disabilities. I wish more places would do this it's honestly amazing! The coffee and baked goods are delicious. Lovely ambiance with music and inspirational decor. Definitely a must-try spot!

Great local coffee house with an amazing concept! The owner, hires people with different abilities which is a play on words for what society calls people with "disabilities"! I love this concept so much I recently visited and almost cried! The dirty chai lattes and cappuccinos were amazing! Thank you for having non-dairy milk for this very lactose intolerant customer! The food was also delicious! We tried the breakfast croissant sandwich and patries! Which to my surprise some of their pastries are from one of my favorite coffee spots in Pinecrest! The ambience feels very cozy and homey! The service was amazing! I keep telling myself forget Star_____ and keep coming to Our Grounds!Trust me you won't be disappointed and you'll feel good about supporting this conscious business!

Come with me to Our Grounds, a coffee shop in West Kendall. This was my first visit, and I was kindly greeted by Mia and Matt, who work there. I was unsure what to order and asked for recommendations, which Mia kindly provided. I went with an Iced Caramel Latte with oat milk and a Turkey and Cheese Croissant. Both were very good. What makes Our Grounds different from other coffee shops is their mission; they provide vocational training, education, and employment opportunities to adults with intellectual and cognitive disabilities. Overall, Our Grounds was excellent. The local is charming and suitable for studying or finishing up some work like I was. The service is attentive and friendly. I will be back another time.

This little coffee shop is so charming and just the perfect escape from the busy, sometimes chaotic world we live in. The music is mellow and the lights are dimmed low. It is the perfect spot to grab a coffee and one of their delicious sandwiches or pastries and just sit back and relax. I can honestly stay here all day long with my book! Loved it. My daughter had the OG croissant sandwich and I had the Berry Bagel! I'm a big bagel lover so I had to get it. The jam was so flavorful. Not sure what brand they use but it was delicious. But the best part was the fresh berries on top. WOW! Every single bite was over the top!! The combination of the bagel, cream cheese, jam and fresh berries was SUPERB! Why haven't I thought of having my bagel like that? This place will definitely be on my go-to places when I want to unwind and enjoy a good, healthy breakfast/ brunch. I live in Homestead, but it's definitely worth the drive. Oh and my daughter's breakfast croissant she claims was "delightful"! It was crisp and the egg was fluffy and bacon was perfectly done. She's a healthy eater but also a big foodie so she knows good, quality fresh food when she tastes it and this place met all her expectations! We will definitely come back with the rest of the family!! By the way, the staff is super attentive & friendly ;)

Came back this morning and had their iced latte again and it's pretty good. Better than I remember 4/5. It's also fairly priced $5.34 which is rare these days for freshly roasted coffee from counter culture. Staff is welcoming and parking is easy to find.

Best Avo toast I've ever tried! Chai lattes are fantastic. Service is great. &&& they give back to the community. What's not to love? Will be back many many more times in the future

First time at Our Grounds yesterday and it won't be my last. Overall I had a wonderful experience as the staff were attentive, kind, and patient. It's a cozy place with a touch of modern aesthetics; very comfy. I went in to study (had about one outlet available per table) and they had reliable free wifi. Their friendly chill music was not too loud and there were a few families entering in and out on a Tuesday afternoon. Bathroom was also squeaky clean and cute inside too!As for my drink: They didn't have lavender syrup for my go-to latte, however, this gave me the opportunity to try their pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and WOWZER!! The texture was smooth and creamy, but not too thick or sweet. Also, I will need to come back because I heard a lot of customers ask for their Coffee Cake, but unfortunately at ~2:30PM they were all out. Bonus: it makes my heart extra warm that this is a safe environment for all types of abilities. It is my newfound mission to find more places like this so I can support in ways I can :)) shoutout again to the amazing and kind-hearted staff!!

Great breakfast stop - quick bites. Excellent coffee! Food is made fresh - a must try!
