Enchiladas Verdes with shrimp, because the only chicken they have to stuff the enchiladas is "fajita cubes".

I haven't had oysters in three years (Covid) and I was wanted Grilled Oysters so bad. I didn't want to go here, but when is nearing 6:30p, it's dinner time for hubs. The Grilled Oysters were $27 for a dozen medium sized Oysters. I said to myself I will wait for good sized ones. I ordered fried Oysters and the only other time I had flat (FLAT) Oysters was in Florida. I took all the batter off and the Oysters well, no doubt, were from a can..Horrible. The rice was good. Fries, didn't eat, salad, no dressing.. My hubs have Grilled Catfish, I thought is was snapper. He said it was good, but he eats anything. I was very disappointed and he said I should have taken a picture of the batter and oyster. I know a canned Oyster when I see it. So much batter, it hides the ~than 1/2" Oyster. The Chips and Salsas were good, both red and green. Glasses were empty, had to ask for refills. Very few people in the restaurant. Hubs still owes me Oysters..

If you want some authentic Mexican seafood, this is your place! My family and I came here 3 different times last week. We had the same waitress all 3 times and she was very nice and helpful. They're willing to work with you on any adjustments to your order that you may need or want. I am positive we will be back at some point!

Decent oyster at a decent price. I started to order, (in English) and the waitress said nothing and walked away while I was in mid sentence. I understand, maybe she may have been embarrassed or frustrated, or whatever, that she didn't speak English, but given the chance, I could have ordered in Spanish. Just.....kind of rude I thought

Horrible service... We were ignored because we didn't speak Spanish, ask a few questions about items on the menu and recieved a snarky look and was told "I don't know".... got up and walked out. I'll never return to that shit hole again.

So glad we have an Ostineria Michoacan Seafood and Oyster Bar just south of The Woodlands. No more driving south of Greenspoint for my Mexican Seafood delights. This restaurant is on the southbound feeder after Nursery Rd and the big "Brake Check" sign in the next strip center. This will be the closest to being in a tropical resort way down in Mexico when you read about all the wonderful seafood delights. The menu is in English and Spanish and so are the waitstaff's language. They have cold to hot appetizers, salads, various shrimp entrees, breaded and fried entrees, quail, a variety of authentic Mexican entrees, soups, all kinds of fish and seafood, house specialties including my fav Huachinango de Marciscos. They also have lobster. Kids plates under 12 for $3.50 to $5.95. Lunch specials are available for $5.95 to $11.95 and also come with their special fried rice and yummy French fries. Beer and wine are available including Micheladas. We received a red and green sauce which were both fresh and authentic with chips while waiting for our food. I ordered the Parrillada de Marciscos which came with a whole fried catfish and the most tender, like butter, seafoods which were grilled octopus, squid, shrimp, scallops, and clams. This was served with their fried rice, French fries and toasted bread. This was an incredible meal except that the chef was a little heavy on the salt. My dining partner had the shrimp brochette, beef fajitas, a piece of fish, guacamole, rice beans and choice of tortillas. The refried beans were a bit oily but everything else was very good. My dining partner ordered a house margarita which I thought was too sweet. I personally would upgrade if possible. At 9 pm a disk jockey started playing in the back of the restaurant. They also have 2 TV's up front to watch a game. This place has only been open for a month and a half. It did take a while for our food to come out but not an excessive amount of time. I'll be back for sure!!!Yelp Review #315

I ordered a "Vuelve a la Vida" cocktail which is a mixture of seafood and a favorite item for me to order in such a restaurant. When my cocktail arrives, no oysters. Not good! The waitress brought out oysters separately when I complained but that was either an unfortunate oversight or a dodgy practice. I have had oysters on the half shell here a couple of times and they were adequately fresh.

I am not coming back to this place! Service was not great, music was loud. Place feels very dark because the blinds were closed to block the very hot sun, it would be impossible to sit on the seats by the window. The restaurant is built like a sausage, like a rectangle. I ordered a tilapia filet "al mojo de ajo", and it had no taste. I could barely get any garlic flavor. It was soaked in oil, there was like a soup of oil on my plate. I get annoyed when Mexican restaurants only offer fajita cubed chicken for enchiladas or chicken in tinga. Enchiladas are made with natural shredded chicken. The plate came with fried rice (like asian style ) lettuce, and a piece of flattened greasy bread, and it was about $14. Tilapia is super cheap by the way, cheap lettuce, cheap bread and cheap rice. Never again.
