While on a mission to find a killer, Italian sammy on a Sunday afternoon, I quickly realized most of the places on my list were closed. So after a quick yelp search, we came across @oscarsdenver inside @leeverslocavore on 38th in the LoHi area. And HOLY CRAP, I am so glad we found this place!! this little deli was tucked inside the market, we ordered several sandwiches and then sat at the bar where we could get coffee and beer!!My favorite sandwich turned out to be the most simple of the three! The hot ham and swiss, a new addition to their menu and, oh my God... SOOO GOOD!! Packed with flavor, this little guy also has voodoo potato chips inside! Which, if you're anything like me and grew up putting potato chips inside your sandwich, was the most amazing part!The Italian Sando was super delicious! I wish the bread was just a tiny bit softer, but other than that, no complaints.I have never been a fan of Rubens, maybe because I don't particularly like sauerkraut... But my friend ordered their Ruben and now I'm a believer! It was a bit on the salty side, and from what I understand, a little light on the dressing. But I really liked it!!So yeah, be sure to add this little sleeper spot to your list of places... Especially on a Sunday!

Stopped in at Oscar's Eats on the way to the airport. Orders the Italian Sandie which was delicious. The hearty bread was packed with thinly sliced Italian cold cuts and topped with roasted tomatoes, pepperoncini, provolone, and vinaigrette. It hit the spot. It took about 10-12 to make the sandwich so would be a good idea to order ahead of you're in a hurry.

New Sandwich Shop located inside a local grocery store makes for a really great experience!Located inside Leevers Locavore is a new sandwich shop serving up some tasty sandwiches. Oscar's recently opened and I'm glad I was able to try them out! We had their Italian and Cubano and both tasted amazing.The Italian tasted fresh and was packed with flavor, while the Cuban was pressed and crispy. I will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches. Oscars also has a great grab-n-go selection of ready to bake meals. I have my eye on the Shepard's Pie! Go get some lunch and your shopping done all in the same place!

My meatball sandwich looked nothing like the one in their picture. It was ice cold (less than five minutes), to the point that the cheese didn't even fully melt. You can see from my picture that the bread was just warm enough to make the cheese fall over the meatballs. They probably nuked the meatballs for 15 seconds. Barely any sauce at all. Meatballs were grey and pretty bland, not sure if it would've helped if they put marinara on or not but I probably will never know!

Locavore replaced riverbear with Oscars and I'm not impressed. All the food I have tried from them especially the chicken salad and the pulled pork is OVER salted. Also, for what you get, quality, they are over priced, especially the soups. Save your money.

I got the Cuban and it was impressively tasty. The grocery store it's inside supports local, and everything is great quality. Oscars Eat's is the perfect addition, definitely recommend. It's a bargain for the quality you get.

Oscars rules. Their sandwiches are amazing every time - my favorite is the Cuban and my latest favorite is their chopped cheese. Unbelievable!The service is always very friendly and Leevers is one of my favorite places so of course the ambiance is excellent. I hope Oscar's and their employees prosper.

I absolutely must update my far too short previous review for this Gem.Oscar's Eats is located inside of Leevers Locavore On 38th Avenue. We have been a big fan of Leevers for quite some time and the addition of Oscar's only takes their location to another level. Now admittedly I have not as of yet had any of Oscar's take-home from what appears to be, and rumor has it, awesome grab and go, so this is something of an incomplete review, But let's talk about one of my favorite topics... Sandwiches I have had about 75% of their Sando lineup so far and every single one has been an absolute banger Their chicken sandwich is my favorite chicken sandwich ever, and now I am hung up on there incredible chopped cheese My next recommendations would be the Cuban, and while it is admittedly not my personal style, the vegetarian is hearty and very unique for a vegetarian sandwich. But you truly cannot go wrong here. Portions are more than generous, ingredients are top notch, and the good people that make the sandwiches are true artists and always provide engaging and friendly service. Finally the prices are almost impossible to beat and who wouldn't like that?? The Ambiance is of course gorgeous considering it's Leevers, with seating in the Leevers coffee and beer area area if you decide to stay, and the location draws a crowd where I feel like I fit right in.Finally, make sure you check out their specials and "Oscars Arter Dark" for more deliciousness Well done Oscar's!!Chad Ryan 's You

What a surprise! A great sandwich for around 10 bucks. I have tried their meatball and now they're Italian. I like both very much. They were quick to get it done on both occasions. Being located in a very wonderful food market adds value for both businesses! I'll be back again and again!

Wow, we just swung by for lunch and I have not had a Reuben that good in a long time!
