The food here was standard variety Filipino food plus a little more. I had Halo Halo, Kare Kare, Paksiw, and Monggo. Quite good.Unfortunately, I was not happy about the lady who didn't serve us. My Aunt took me here on her lunch break and the lady behind the counter was grabbing food for herself at our arrival. She was eating while having us wait nearly 10 minutes for the next available employee. Odd to have the seller be eating while standing at the buffet hungry.Pretty poor quality service.

Maligayang Pasko! (Merry Christmas) The Philippines is well-known for the four months Chrismas Celebration(Ber months). However, they still celebrate " New Year Days"! The Philipinnes Chrismas is very Catholic. But according to my Google search, their new year celebrations are influenced by Chinese! They eat sticky rice and noodles! I tried to celebrate the Pinoy Style New Year.I found this restaurant on Google. It was located in an Asian supermarket. It looked like " Panda Express". I mean, I could choose some food, then a server put them in to-go boxes. I chose Pancit noodles, BBQ, and spring rolls. They were great. Why Asians are eating noodles during the new year celebrations? Because long noodles mean ' Long Life". The year 2020 was tough due to COVID19. I wish everyone can celebrate Happy and Healthy 2021! Manigong Bagong Taon! Happy New Year!

Cafeteria style Filipino foods located inside the Cherry Foodarama grocery store. The basic rice plate was priced at $7.99 according to the menu which consisted of two selections from the steam table and rice. However, the menu failed to indicate that certain selections trigger a $2 up charge. I was told of the up charge when I requested squids as one of the selections. I went with the lechon(roast pork) for my other selection. The foods tasted delicious but little short with the smount of proteins. I am undecided whether to return.

Sooooooo happy this is here. We used to frequent Pugon de Manila, which used to be in this location, but then it closed. I temporarily freaked out until we walked into the Asian mart and saw the OPM was there. It's a buffet style setup, similar to what we were used to with Pugon. You can get all the classics from chicken adobo, to pork menudo, to beef kaldereta and lumpia! Prices are very reasonable at $7.99 for the entree, which comes with two mains (chicken, beef, pork or fish) and steamed rice. The lumpia is very good and at an awesome price of 6 for $2. Two entrees and a side of lumpia left me feeling absolutely content and filled my need for some comfort, authentic Filipino food! $20 later, were we happy, satiated and still had leftovers for later! Yay!

We love this place! The variety of food is great, the food is high quality and excellent. Don't be intimidated if you don't know the food, just ask and they'll help. We ordered the bbq pork, chicken adobo, pancit, and tocino plus a side of lumpia. The food was amazing and we couldn't finish it all, had leftovers for the next day.We also love that it is located in the market, we picked up some seasonings and noodles for home.

I really really wanted lumpia one night so decided to check out Original Pinoy Meals! They're a cafeteria style pickup place inside the Cherry Foodarama grocery store! Yelp states that they're open until 8pm but they had all the food already put away and cleaned up by the time we got there around 7:15pm. Guess the Yelp hours are for the grocery store and the Original Pinoy Meals food area closes earlier around 6:30pm. I came back the next day after work around 6pm and was able to grab what I wanted. Seems like a lot of others decided to grab dinner after work here as well cause there were a few customers before and after me in line. The food, I'm not sure when they prepare everything but it looked old by the time 6pm rolled around. I think next time I'd come earlier to ensure it's fresh and hot. I ended up only trying the lumpia cause everything else didn't look so appealing anymore. They're priced well at 6 rolls for $2 and I ended up getting 3 orders of them. They're quite small but they come with a sweet and sour (mostly sweet and kinda vinegary but super thick) sauce. Unfortunately, they were also not very warm anymore sitting in the heated trays. They tasted ok - a bit on the saltier side. Can't say they were my favorite and they were a bit small. I would give them another chance and try the other dishes and lumpia again another day when I can arrive early for everything to be fresh and hot! But ordering lumpia from Godo's was a better bet if I had to compare the two. I did enjoy that there's an Asian grocery store closer to the med center. You can get some dried and canned goods - rice noodles, canned Asian fruit, frozen dumpling wrappers, frozen lumpia if you want to deep fry them at home yourself, and a fresh meat counter with Longanisa, balut, etc. They also have a section with packaged Filipino baked goods - like that ube bun falling my name! Convenient and close by, though traffic on Main is a bit weird if you're coming from the wrong direction. Right next to Jollibee and Red Ribbon Bake Shop - so lots of Filipino options all in one area!

Always a friendly service with very good food!! The Singang as a side with any entree is a must. I always get the pork menudo, and chicken adobo with half and half white rice and pancit. The calamansi is so flavorful!
