I have eaten lunch from OG twice now and both times have been excellent! I always order Hunan Chicken, steamed rice and an egg roll when I'm trying a place for the first time. Each time I've been here, there's a lot of chicken in the entree. It's flavorful and tender and the accompanying veggies are cooked nicely with the right amount of crunch but not soggy. The egg roll is spring roll in size, but very flavorful as well. Kudos to these folks in Cary for putting out some quality shopping center Chinese food! I'll be back in the future!

I got the family dinner for 2 here tonight which included two entrees, two soups, two containers of rice (steamed or fried) and two egg rolls or spring rolls.I got the House Special Lo Mein. It had small pieces of chicken, small shrimp and large thin pieces of beef. Very little veggies were included. It was just ok, had to add some soy sauce for flavor. I got the fried rice and noticed it had no veggies either. I got a spring roll that was small and slightly spicy...not sure what was in it to make it have some spice. It was just ok too. The WonTon soup was not very good. Had a "old oil" taste to it. Very disappointing.The other dish was shrimp with vegetables. Here the shrimp were much larger and there was a decent amount of broccoli and small corn and mushrooms. The egg roll was smaller than normal too, never seen one that small.We got a lot of food for $40, but it just fell short on flavors.This was take out, so cant say anything about the service.Place looked clean, but no one was eating in. Everyone was doing take out. Only one guy at the front answering the phone, taking orders and giving out food.

Tried Orient Garden after passing it several times. Great decision. Had the Mongolian beef, it was delicious, lots of meat and lots of onions.Egg roll was crunchy and flavorful. Have already gone back to get food for my family, who really enjoyed it.The only thing to note is that this is more of a takeout place. You can sit in, they have booths, but you'll be eating off paper plates with plastic silverware.That being said service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back.

We were visiting from TX and felt like staying in, so I ordered and picked up takeout...but first I had to narrow it down to here looking at just 4+ star places and reading reviews for several places North of Hwy 64 and West of I-40 as we were driving from my parents and sister's. I arrived 15 min after placing our order fully expecting to wait, but it literally came out as I walked to the counter. Orange chicken was best I've ever had...the chicken fried rice was good, as was the crab rangoon. The egg drop soup was excellent. I like the online ordering system as you can tailor dishes to your liking (extra broccoli, etc.). The host smiled and thanked me as I picked up my order. This will be my go-to place for future take-out. The noodles are next on my list to try. Can't wait!

Oh. My. From now on, this is the ONLY Chinese restaurant my son and I will ever go to. A while ago I had read this GREAT review for this place but had forgotten the name of the restaurant, but remembered it was off Maynard. Fast forward to last night, I googled Chinese off Maynard and presto, there it was, Orient Gardens. The portion sizes for delivery is MASSIVE, the food itself is simply over the top delicious. The crab ragoons are my fav, but so are the spring & egg rolls. The AMOUNT of pork AND THE QUALITY you get in the Pork Fried Rice, well, you can't compare it to any other Pork Fried Rice because we've tried every local Chinese restaurants and Orient Garden has them beat hands down. Don't walk, RUN to Orient Gardens if you're in the mood for Chinese, you won't be sorry, I promise :))

Loved the fact that we could place our order online (but we couldn't pay online). We came by for lunch on a Wed at around 11:45.Our order was ready within 15 min. Pickup was quick and easy. I had the Hunan Chicken with white rice and egg drop soup. Soup was hot and tasty. The Hunan chicken was not spicy at all. I even ask for extra red spicy oil sauce and it also was not spicy at all. Quantity of food was great. The flavor was bland. Very bland. My daughter had sesame chicken and she agreed about the blandness of the food.Next time we get Chinese takeout we will try a different place.

Always so fresh! We have never had a bad experience here. Wings, crab Rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice are all so good! My favorite are their steamed veggies!
