Woke up with a baleada yearning so I headed to this joint. Ordered a sausage and egg baleada and coffee at 10:00am. Sadly, the baleada never arrived. At around 10:30am I asked the waitress about my baleada and in a "don't bother me tone," she informed me that the kitchen had other tickets ahead of mine. Never mind that the restaurant was practically empty as it was early. I sadly and still hungry left without ever receiving my baleada. I must say, the place looks great, smells clean and the overall atmosphere is nice. I just wish their food delivery and waitress table manners were up to par.

We came here for a late Monday lunch. It was a small parking lot and not many people were there so parking was easy. We walked right in and were seated. Four of us shared a fried seafood dish- Jalea de Mariscos- it had fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried fish, potato wedges served with Onions, tomato, and cilantro in a lemon sauce. They serve it with a tartar sauce. I asked for hot sauce and cocktail sauce. If you can't speak Spanish, good luck. I feel like they just ignore you mostly. The staff doesn't speak English. All in all, food was good. Our margaritas were good. Don't come for spectacular service.

The food here is very good. The service is a bit slow and the ambiance is not my cup of tea. But it is ok. I don't think I'm coming back to dine in but for sure I'm gonna pick up again from them any time soon. The food was very good.

We visited here again for another delicious Nicaraguan mix big plate. So tasty for sure! Staff seemed a little distracted among themselves and not attentive to customers....but we really love the food! The 5 stars this time are for the delicious Nicaraguan food!

The valet at our hotel recommended this place and that was the wrong person to trust. Should've looked on Yelp first. We wanted something in Little Havana, and this place is on Calle Ocho. Walking around afterwards, I certainly would have chosen someplace else.As others have mentioned on here, the service is not very good. It's very slow. You better speak Spanish, which I do but my friend did not, so knowing what's what can be a challenge for some as our waitress did not speak English. Portions are enormous! I ordered some type of whole fish and got a huge fish indeed. The outside was well-seasoned but it was overcooked and the inside was very dry. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious! Appetizers didn't come out at the same time and mine came out with my entree. Many prices are high, but the portions are huge and apparently meant to share family style. So if you're only two, you're going to have a lot of food unless you share!Staying in a hotel without a refrigerator, so we could not take anything home with us. The food was flavorful though everything is fried. If you're looking for something healthy, you probably want to choose someplace else.

I love Honduran food, but this place just didn't do it for me. I got a baleada and it was good. The encurtido looked like coleslaw. Very Americanized. I also ordered plantains, but they were burnt. The staff is not the most welcoming either. Very underwhelming experience with generic food.

El Orgullo Catracho has good Honduran food. However, the ambiance is on the eye of the beholder. I went there to pick up an order on a Sunday, the place was crowded - no social distancing. It was karaoke night and music was extremely loud, hard to have a conversation. The men unfortunately don't know how to keep their eyes to themselves and kept staring at me.They told me my food would take 25 minutes and it took about 50 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes inside because my order was not ready I told the server I was parked in the middle of the street because there was no parking available. He was kind and offered to bring my food to the car - to which I said yes. After finally arriving home and biting into the baleadas i realized it was worth the wait. The beans tasted homemade and the cheese and mantequilla were so good, and this why they get four stars from me because the baleada was worth the wait.

This is a staple Honduran restaurant on Calle 8 that has been here for as long as I can remember. You can find parking out front and in the back. I recommend out back because my mirror was stolen from my car when I parked in the front side (weird, right?) The restaurant itself is pretty big when you walk in. Theres a few booths and tables to sit pick from since it's self seated. As soon as you sit the waitress comes with menus and chips and salsa (starts after 12pm). The restaurant does turn into a dance club at night on weekends but children are welcomed so if you ever want to enjoy some live music or karaoke on Sunday night, give this place a try.The food is delicious. I have yet to try a dish I did not like. Love their typical breakfast. Baleadas are great and so is the carne asada. I've seen a few sopas come out and everyone seems satisfied so it must be good too. This is one of the good Honduran places in the area.
