Oregon Steaks

Pretty, pretty, pretty good cheesesteaks! Love the menu at Oregon Steaks and located perfectly down the street from sports complex if you're looking for a Philly steak after a Phillies or Eagles game. BTW, the other two sports teams don't deserve mention.

We stopped by Oregons to get a philly after a concert because they were one of the only spots still open after the show. The restaurant was very busy which resulted in us waiting a decent time for a sandwhich and a side of fries. The oder line is a bit confusing as you have to order your sandwhiches from one side of the front and your sides/drinks from the other side. The fries were good, they came out hot and crunchy. I would say soufflé cups would be a good idea as there was nothing to put any of the sauces in. Our philly came out and honestly tasted bland. Mayo was only put on half of the sandwhich so the other half was pretty dry. I appreciate the place staying open 24/7 so we could grab some food but overall wasn't super impressed.

This is a hidden gem in Philly! I'm from CT, but come to Philly for the EAGLES and to visit my daughter. After I took her here, she has yet to find a better cheesesteak that can match Oregons!! Highly recommended and they will ALWAYS have my business if I'm in Philly!!! Love Oregon steaks! Keep making those delicious hoagies. BTW, they are open 24/7!

Philly style Poutine!!!!I had their roast beef cheese fries and gravy, which were amazing. Excellent and flavorful, and it paired superbly with an IPA.My daughter also appreciated the chicken tenders that I had ordered for her, and she finished every last bite. Absolutely going to here from here again to try their cheese steaks.

I came here because I wanted to add another cheesesteak place to my list. I keep a top ten list of favorite cheesesteaks in Philly. Mainly because I'm a huge geek. But it's fun for me to act like I'm a quasi pseudo expert on this stuff. Here's what it comes down to. This is a decent steak. It had enough meat. It wasn't loaded. But it was just enough. I thought the beef flavor was good and fresh. The roll had the right mix of crust and chewy to it. It probably could have used a little more cheese (I'm an American cheese guy). The onions were thick enough and not overdone. It's a solid, quality sandwich. Nothing about it was overly special to me. As I looked at my list of 10 that I keep in my phone (I know, what a dork), I couldn't put it above any of my top 10. But it might have a case for number 11 if that existed. Consider it an honorable mention. But it's a high level honorable mention.

A few years ago we asked a group of locals where they go for cheesesteaks and in unison they said "Oregon". I was with a large party and we made our way to 10th & Oregon and gave it a shot. Today, I returned, still impressed with the speed of service and the staff. I gave this 5-stars because I failed to review this spot the first time. We even waited until we got home (a whole hour and a half later) to warm it back up and it was still fire! Not this time though! Half of us ate in the car with the other half on the benches like savages. If I could have eaten in their kitchen, I would have. Nothing changed, except my order. I got the Old Fashion which I wish I did hot peppers instead of sweet, not because it wasn't good, but because now I have to wait until the next trip to try it. We also got 3 originals, and two others less any mushrooms because these kids don't know how to eat yet, lol. Oh, we also got fries & chicken nuggets that would have made an amazing companion if they didn't disappear so fast. Very happy we made this an official stop whenever we're in Philly.

I judge a cheesesteak based off its bread, cheese and the amount of steak. They definitely met all 3 criteria! The cheesesteak isn't out of this world but definitely on the top of the list compared to other places I've tried in Philly. Service was quick and easy! The ambiance was relaxed and causal. If you're doing a Philly cheesesteak tour - add this on your list!

This place gives you the real Philly deal! Friendly for Philly, quick service. They have a great menu and will ensure you get an authentic philly cheesesteak. Delicious food! Nice, casual dining outdoors to see the Philly sights.

I tried ordering through door dash at 6:40pm, called to check in at 7:30pm and they told me "sometimes its marked complete but still on the way" and again at 8pm they said they'd check in with the driver. At 8:10pm they call me back and tell me they gave my order to an older blonde lady. I live alone and have neon green hair and I'm 30. Misdelivered???? Had to call in to get a refund. Annoying as hell.

If you like Pat's or Geno's, you'll LOVE this place. The fried onions was the best part. Never again.
