Oregon Diner

We're on our way to Wilkes Barre for a concert and stopped for brunch. Mixed emotions because of our now deceased married (practically 2nd) parents. This was "their" diner, that they frequented DAILY for breakfast! Some really kind staff came up to us with condolences and just to say hi. Very sweet and appreciated. Everything was wonderful- fresh "real" oj, eggs, breakfast sandwich and French toast. Their baked goods looked out of this world, but I passed, due to binkini season rapidly approaching! This is a Philly landmark and rightfully so!

Meh. It's a diner. I'm used to the fishtown diner, which is always dead. This place had a good crowd.French onion soup was good - burger was kinda bad. My wife's salad was pretty good,

Had the eggs benedict. Enjoyed the meal. The pastries in the counter looked great. Nice "diner" experience.

I've been coming to Oregon Diner for the better part of the last decade and honestly it's one of my favorite places for a quick brunch! You walk in and are always seated promptly, with a server coming to grab a drink order within minutes. The menu is huge and has all your favorite diner dishes! I alway go between a tuna salad sandwich on rye or a grilled cheese with tomato with their tasty fries! During my last visit I saw that they added an impossible burger to their brunch menu - love to see it! It can be a bit busy/loud on weekend mornings but that's expected! Be sure to check out the dessert case on your way out!

Get ready for giant portions and delicious food! Diners can be hit or miss but this place has fantastic food. The portions were much bigger then we were expect and had plenty of leftovers. The service was pretty good and we were well taken care of. The restaurant is pretty large so we had no wait and got a comfy booth. Their prices are a little high but for the portion sizes I think it's fair. We will definitely be going back!

This local is our go to place when visiting family in Philly. The menu is massive and everything on it is great. Prices are reasonable. Staff is attentive and accommodating. We crave the rice pudding and the eggplant parm is just like grandmas. Burgers are thick and juicy. Breakfast all day long. Perfect for people who sleep in on the weekends. This place is the flavor of Philly without the drama of center city parking. Highly recommend!

Good service good bacon not the best it's normal same thing as penrose diner just different food

I was pretty disappointed with this diner and will not be coming back. A lot of the breakfast food and fries were cooked in very old oil that made the food have a bad taste. I had the broccoli and cheddar omelette and the eggs had a very bad oil taste. It was also just slopped onto the plate. Everyone else was pretty dissatisfied with their meals as well.

A good diner. We were offered the worst table: by the door, which is next to an outside waiting area that smells extremely strongly of cigarettes - I felt like I smoked a pack just walking into the diner. We declined the table and were seated elsewhere.Got a sausage and spinach panini with fries, pancakes, over-easy eggs, scrapple, orange juice, and coffee. Coffee was not refilled, which seems like it should have been for it being a diner. The panini was okay. I thought the bread should have been sandwich bread, not a pita-type bread. The serving size was large. The fries were good.

Best cheesecake ever!! Awesome diner good, wonderful service and clean !! Good meatloaf m, tasty mashed potatoes, easy parking, can't wait to go back
