Love the vibe, baristas, decor, location, delicious tea selection... but I have ONE REQUEST maybe they'll see here! It is summer in GA, so some A/C makes great sense. However, I am wearing a sweater I brought, knowing they keep it frosty, and I'm still literally shivering with my hot drink. My nose is ice cold. Hands are also a little shaky so it's hard to do the computer work I am here for. Literally if Opo adjusts the temp, it's the perfect spot! I'll definitely be back, don't get me wrong; but would prefer to not need to lug in winter gear.

Opo Coffee is a deceptively-small café tucked away in the corner of downtown Decatur, yet it's surprisingly spacious with plenty of natural lighting and seating to get work done. The Summertime Gladness is my go-to drink, as I love the floral notes from the orange flavoring paired with the sweet, almost chocolate-like coffee. The pastries (scones and cookies) are decent, but I would go back just for that drink. Friendly service, and I would recommend Opo Coffee while in the area!

Opo Coffee transcends the ordinary with its immersive coffee experiences, blending education and artistry in a cozy setting; located in downtown Decatur. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it's definitely worth it! I recently participated in both their Latte Art and Espresso Brewing classes, I found the intimate setting of just six participants to be a key highlight. The hands-on sessions, conducted by passionate instructors, provided not only valuable skills but also an enjoyable learning atmosphere. What sets Opo Coffee apart is its dedication to quality education. The limited spots in each class ensure a personalized experience, fostering camaraderie among participants. I left the Latte art class not only with newfound skills but also with an appreciation of how hard it is to make a heart in my cup of coffee. I now appreciate my barista even more. In a city brimming with coffee shops, Opo Coffee stands out as a haven for those seeking a deeper connection to their brew. Whether you're perfecting latte art or honing your home-brewing skills, Opo Coffee transforms your coffee experience into an artful journey. The small class sizes and skilled baristas create an environment where every cup is a canvas, telling a story of craftsmanship and passion. Highly recommend you guys to take a class - well only if you love coffee as much as me. :)

Nice coffee shop and they offer latte art classes in a training room in the back. It's a little bit noisy to work from if you have to take calls but may be a good place to catch up with a friend.

I wish I could say I had a good experience at this coffee shop, but it was just meh. Came here on Saturday late afternoon - it was packed, so very little seating but surprisingly still very quiet. My friends and I came in the hopes of escaping the cold and just chatting but it felt too quiet. We were greeted by a friendly young guy, but the person who served us - her attitude seemed to shift based on the customers she was serving. And she didn't seem to like giving me my coffee. When I said thank you, she didn't even acknowledge. I will give this place one more chance in the future and in the hopes that it's better. Beautiful space overall and definitely recommend for studying.

Decatur's local coffee shop with a colorful, geometric design and spacious loft ceilings.Things you should know:I. PARKINGLimited. There's about 4-5 spaces on the direct left of the building. The street in front (E Howard Ave) has 2 hour, parallel street parking. If there's nothing available there, then the very END of Barry St, closest to E Howard Ave may have some parallel spots; however, make sure you're not parked in front of someone's home ~ you will get towed (hence why I said the end of Barry St. Not the middle. Not the side near Commerce Dr.) II. SERVICETimely. They do provide latte art here.III. QUALITY The Americanos are delicious ~ dense and acidic ~ not watered down.IV. CAPACITY Ngl, the coffee shop is packed on weekends around noon but tapers off as the evening approaches. We were lucky and still able to find a seat.

When it comes to presentarion Opo does a great job. When I came I was greeted by one of the three people behind the counter. The inside is aesthetic enough for your photos. Bright colors throughout. When it comes to coffee they didn't seem to have much to offer. Though they roast their own coffee it was very one note. No light roasts only medium/ dark coffee. The cappuccino I ordered looked great (the milk was steamed perfectly) but it was too dark for me. Though it was filled inside and the patio as well it wasn't overly loud. If you prefer darker roast coffees I would suggest coming here.

Extremely cute coffee shop in Decatur ! Street parking! Seems like a place that a lot of students go to, to study or work. It's gets busy very quickly! But the coffee is amazing, it's very much happy chill coffee vibes. Street parking is free.

Excellent coffee, beautiful space, good service. Opo is across from the old train station in Decatur. Near Agnes Scott College. The exterior is pretty plain but the interior looks like a movie set. Opo had the usual range of coffee. They roast their own beans in house. It was little fiddly, but the coffee was good. There's street parking out front

It's such a cool location and the ambiance is perfect. I love the people and the coffee is sourced from farmers around the world. They have a school to teach how to become a barista.
