One Time Bar-B-Que

I waited 25 mins for ribs that were cooking and when they still weren't ready they then offered me rib tips instead or my money back. I took the rib tips only to find when I got home their was no sauce on them. I called and the lady told me they have bottles of sauce on the counter. I just wish I had known. So I ate dry, mediocre rib tips.

This place is always a winner. I ordered Chicken and Rib tips (Sauce on the side). They never disappoint always fresh always, always good and they are following all the covid procedures. Mask up come in order she take you money, then take your phone number, you wait outside, they call you when ready. Smooth transaction lol. But trust me if you are on the westside try them out for sure!!!

Man the ribs here are spot on. Def an ol skool spot and I'm new to the neighborhood. But what a great find and I will be. back on the strength of those ribs. Highly recommend this hole in the wall spot.

I just moved to this side of town about a year ago and have been exploring local spots and I'm so happy to have stumbled across One Time Bar-B-Que! I LOVE a good rib tip and these did not disappoint. They were literally falling apart because they were so tender. I got them covered in the traditional sauce but if you like your ribs wet, I'd suggest getting extra sauce on the side. We went late on a Friday night and they were out of mac and cheese and collard greens and it forced me to try the baked beans and potatoes salad. As soon as I took the first bite I was immediately transported to a cookout, midsummer at that one auntie that cook real good house. My son got the catfish and fries and it was seasoned well and fried to perfection. The lady at the counter was so nice and willing to explain menu options. She even threw in some jalapeño cornbread.Safe to say, we will be back!

Amazing.. my Family travels from TN just to get this BBQ. If you are southern bred you will appreciate the traditional sides. Everything is made fresh daily. Did I mention it's Family ran and black owned. Seriously if you try it one time you'll be back.

LOVE this spot. I try to catch them every weekend when I can! The family ownership is fantastic! Very friendly and customer oriented.

It was rainy last week and my daughter and I popped in here at lunch for takeout. She had a bbq chicken plate w limas and mac-n-cheese, and I had a pound of pulled pork. Man o man, it hit the spot. We loved it and will return ASAP. The woman at the counter was so nice and friendly, too! On the way out, I bought a big bag of fresh pork rinds and have been enjoyong them all week. We will definitely come back for more of those, as well! Next time, I want to try a big batch of their wings!

so eye was going to eat my leftover dinner for lunch....that didnt work! This food was so good eye was getting up in the middle of the night eating it cold, and guess what...it was still GOOD! Thanks to my brother going yesterday eye must say they got it right! The last time eye went the cook was not up to my liking, but now even eye eat the sauce! People that know me know that eye dont even eat katchup! All the sauce is on point but that mustard based one is all that! 2 thumbs up plus a few toes for this one!!!!! and the cornbread is a MUST HAVE

Boy they have the best pulled pork i ever had hands down no contest! Ill be back. Don yourself a favor and go get some!

Omg -I hate saying this but this lil "hole in the wall " has become my favorite eatery! I love rib tips and these were amazingly tender and delicious! The homemade sauce on top was exceptional. The baked beans and macaroni and cheese are very good. Can't wait to try some other dishes. And the staff was very engaging!
