Once In A Blue Moon Bakery & Cafe

Absolutely the cutest little coffee shop around. I walked in and saw the cakes and pastries my eyes were as big as saucers! I got a iced cinnamon latte and it was amazing! It wasn't too sweet so you could still taste the actual coffee but wasn't bitter ether. The inside had the cutest decorations and the nicest people. 10/10 would recommend. :)

I love this place.Placed our order for our free one year anniversary cake of the top tier of our 3-tier wedding cake and they couldn't have done a better job.It was moist, delicious, and beautiful.We really thought we would be given something that was quickly whipped up as a second thought, but we were pleasantly surprised.While we were there we also picked up a peanut butter brownie, chocolate chip cookie, and hot chocolate.The brownie was incredible and highly recommended. The chocolate chip was also quite good and the hot chocolate was good but your standard hot chocolate.Staff was nice and conversational which was nice.

Margarita cake is amazing! Just got the Frangelico cake and it was good with chocolate and mouse layers but disappointing compared to the margarita cake.Service is always friendly. They have a nice selection of pastries and cake slices to try. We have never eaten at the cafe but imagine it is lovely.

There are a lot of bakeries in town, but Once in a Blue Moon Bakery is the best of them all! I've been to bridal showers, baby showers and birthday parties where the highlight of the party was the serving of the cake because it was from this bakery!I almost always bake my own cakes for my son's birthdays, but when I asked him if he would like a cake from Blue Moon Bakery, his face lit up! I recommend ordering in advance, but when I just showed up to purchase a pre-made cake, there was quite a selection of flavors and sizes to choose from. I chose the chocolate cake with coffee & kahlua filling and chocolate ganache drizzle for $43. My entire family loved it!

Stopped in after a splash pad date with my grandson. I ordered an iced coffee for me and my grandson a chocolate milk (not on the menu but they accommodated. He had a cookie and I had a croissant. They have indoor seating and a little area where you can help yourself to napkins etc along with a self serve water station. Nice little spot and highly recommend.

On our way to the beach, we preordered 4 gluten and dairy free cupcakes.I don't normally do GF, but I have to tell ya.... They were darn good!The shop is cute and the girl behind the counter was super nice and helpful.Definitely will get more goods the next time I am in the Raleigh area.

They did a lovely job on my cake... I gave them completely custom instructions, showing them some photos off the Internet of white cakes with gold accents on it for a 50th wedding anniversary. I gave them some instructions with where I was happy for them to take creative liberties, and where I was looking for something specific. It came out really pretty and tasteful (based on what I had in mind). All the guests were making comments about the cake and asking me where I got it and I let them know :) Photo attached.

The cinnamon buns were just wayyyyy too dry. Perhaps they were a few days old? Soooo disappointing!

Absolutely the best bakery cake I ever ordered. It was red velvet for a baby shower. Well decorated and just delicious!

Cakes are good but not great. Somewhat assembly-line in feeling and production. Interesting flavors though. I had ordered a brownie assortment for a party and they were terrible. Now I'm wondering if the Bakery got them from BJ's or Costco. They were that mediocre. Definitely not homemade.
