I'd really much rather just not even leave a review. However the way this establishment handles business just did not sit well with me as a visitor trying to show patronage and try new things. As we all know tiktok has glorified Nigerian food especially fufu and that soup you dip it in. So naturally visiting a city where the options are endless we decided to give this place a try. From the beginning (trust me I do understand this part. But hold on there's more) there was a sign on the door that read "please knock". Once we knocked on the door a girl opened it and just stared blankly at us. No greetings, nothing! So we engaged first letting her know we weren't from the area and had never tried Nigerian food asking what was the most popular dish. She whispered. After asking about 3 times we gave up and just read the menu trying to figure it out. We had more questions proceeded to ask and once again her response was a WHISPER! She seemed agitated the entire time. Then after idk our 10th question about the menu and the options she finally lets us in where I assume we were able to speak to the owner. Her volume was a little louder but not much. We finally got one question answered of which was the price for a single bowl of soup and fufu was $30 needless to say we did not order. We will not be going back. And I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS PLACE! I do plan on trying fufu and the soup. But this place will not be where! Side note we would have spent the 30 if we were not treated like we were unwanted.

I have ordered the okra stew with goat meat and fufu. I enjoyed it very much. I like spicy food, this is not for the light at heart. It had the right enough kick for me and the meat was cooked very well. The portion size was good enough for two days or two people.

I ordered on UberEats and the order came very quick and neatly packed. Jollof was delicious. I had fish and red red and it was finger lickin good. The plaintains were cooked like home made. I strongly recommend this place.

The only issue I had was the timing it took for the food to be done but also it's not a big issue. Walked in on Monday night at 6 PM and didn't get out until almost 7:35 PM with the food did have three orders and everything was made fresh. I got Fried rice and goat meat plus suya. The lyft driver ordered. Ox tails with white rice and red stew. My man had egusi with pounded yam. His was great! Meat was soft and fresh.

I live on the south side and most Nigerian restaurants are on Buford hwy in the chamblee area. After learning that a lot of the soups these restaurants prepare are left to be served from the day prior I loved that the soup here is made fresh to order. I ordered egusi with beef and tripe and a side of suya. Everything was really good. I really enjoyed the side sauce that came with the suya and the egusi soup was cooked well. Although it's Tuesday and I was just there on Saturday I think I may come back for more today.

The suya is good with very little fat on the meat. Close to the airport so it's easy to pick something up before or after a flight.

Ok, I know this may look like a "hole in the wall" place and it is, but boy the food is authentic African food that is wonderful for the novice! The homemade fufu along with the variations of soups, sauces, salads and meats is pretty impressive to be on the south side. Don't take a fancy date here because it does not have much ambiance. Causal clothes and a take out will do because I never eat in. The food is outstanding and I can't wait to return with friends. I always get the pounded yam fufu, the egusi soup and the beef or honey/ trope comb. I may explore other options next time.
