This was a great restaurant that exceeded all expectations! We started with the whipped bison tallow and it was so good! And the bread was hands down one of the best breads I've ever had. I didn't even need the bison tallow. The tallow was so smooth and flavorful and I loved the plums and candied pine nuts. Probably one of my favorite breads with butter ever. Then we got the chopped salad. It was a salad nothing mind blowing but was very fresh and I loved how much cheese they put. They also split the plate without asking and no split plate charge. That was a really nice touch. Wish my plate had more apples. The tortellini was amazing! The corn flavor was spectacular and I was wowed by the texture and presentation. The venison special also blew my mind. I don't usually like venison because it can become chewy and overdone and then unpleasant. This venison was perfectly done! And the sauce that came with it was so delicious. Wish there was more vegetables and the halloumi cheese felt dry. The sorbet palate cleanser was very refreshing and a nice touch. The pecorino cheesecake was incredible. Probably one of my most favorite cheesecakes. You could actually taste the pecorino but it worked great! The crumble and huckleberries was great as well. The tiramisu was also delicious. I liked the honeycomb on top and have never seen that before. The service was super friendly and I felt like they did just enough without feeling like they were there all the time. For the drinks we had the peach Negroni, Manhattan, Toronto, earl grey old fashioned drink, amaro flight, and dessert wine flight. The peach Negroni had mezcal which I was skeptical about ordering since im not a huge mezcal fan. The drink worked really well. Wish there was more peach flavor though. The Toronto was quite boozy and bitter but it was a really nicely put together drink and was very complex. The earl grey old fashioned drink was so good. The earl grey flavor was very pronounced which I this is a hard thing to do in a cocktail. The Manhattan was good, nothing super memorable. The amaro flight was put together nicely. I don't really drink amaros so I put together a description of what sort of flight I would like and also gave some freedom to the bartender. I felt that they did a good job putting that together and I really enjoyed them all. The pine flavored one especially was my favorite. The dessert wines were put together nicely as well. My only complaint was that they can't make food off the tasting menu if you're not ordering it. There was a risotto I particularly wanted to try and that was disappointing. At least we could order the tiramisu off the tasting menu which was great because no Italian dinner is complete without one. Also the room was actually quite loud and I had a hard time hearing any conversation at times. They turned on music later too which was nice because first there was none. Would 100% return again and would consider this one of my favorite restaurants in Denver.

We dined here on a weekday, Wednesday to be precise and it was packed! It had been a while that husband and I were planning have dinner here. The ambience is dim lit, Scandinavian, minimalistic and sophisticated! When we arrived, our table wasn't yet available and so the host got us some bubbles to begin with. Within minutes we were at our table. For drinks I got the Gloria, a bit strong but still a good drink. My husband got the house negroni, the block of ice it came with had a pretty engraving, such details! For apps, we got the Arancini and the Nardello grilled peppers. The Arancini was on par with what we had in Italy especially Sicily. The nardello peppers came with a peach puree that was spicier than the actual peppers. My husband is not a fan of spicy food and I was surprised when he went in for a second helping of the peppers. They were my favorite! For mains, I got the Ravioli and husband got the Tortelloni. I really loved the Toretlloni, it almost tasted like a taco went to Italy and dressed as tortellini. The corn, garlic and chilli oil made it so flavorful. It looked so pretty! The Ravioli was very flavorful too - almost felt influenced by the French onion soup. Portion sizes are good. For desserts, we got the panna cotta! I was really bummed they no longer had the tiramisu. Overall, our experience was excellent and this is one of those Italian places I would come back in the next couple months. Highly recommend dining here

A meal I will tell my unborn children about. Exceptional service from the whole team (the hostess literally came outside to get us when she saw us unknowingly mosey by the entrance). Our server Kim was so professional yet fun, and guided my questioning mind through the entire menu with spot on recommendations. The burrata with crispy capers was so so good. Probably best focaccia I've ever had, presented as a mini loaf cut in half- so soft.Arancini- nothing I would've picked but my friend knew better- these were "flavor bombs" as confirmed by Kim. I ordered the carmelizes onion raviolis, shoooo. I took them all on a little swim in the mini cheese pool (Gruyère fondue) at the bottom of the dish before cleaning my plate. Was worried about too much dairy, but the portions were honestly perfect. The masa tortellinis were also exceptional (corn and butter and chili oil mmmm), and my friend loved her crispy artichoke risotto. No misses.Very pleased to enjoy the apps and the entree without feeling like I had too much of a good thing...meaning I still had room for dessert and got the chocolate boudino - chefs kiss! This meal was seriously a highlight of my girls trip to Denver. Also loved sitting at the communal table; an intimate space that allowed us to chat with two older couples celebrating anniversaries, and a younger couple there for a birthday. Would 100% return if back in the area!

I am giving this place 4 stars overall. The food was 3 stars for me but the service was 5 stars so I'm rating it 4 stars overall. I went here for my birthday and the service was great. The staff were all welcoming and attentive. They gave me a small glass of Prosecco to toast for my birthday which was a nice touch. The food just fell a little short for me. It was all good but nothing spectacular, like I was expecting. We ordered risotto, ravioli, tiramisu and some drinks. The best part of the meal was the complimentary focaccia bread. It was really delicious. The risotto was 2nd best and the ravioli and tiramisu didn't impress me. The tiramisu is not tiramisu. It's some weird deconstructed crème fraiche with fruit. It was just not was I was expecting at all. But the ambience is cute and intimate and the staff was very welcoming.

I'd give it a 3.5, and will admit that I'm a harsher judge due to the prices and the Michelin star. We waited months for a reservation and I was just underwhelmed. The service was good. The wait staff was attentive, even if it was a little slow between courses. The food for me was fine, but not stand-out, and it didn't justify the prices. My favorite was the ravioli, but as other reviews have noted, it tasted slightly uncooked instead of proper al dente. It also needed much more sauce than they provided because the undercooked pasta was extra starchy and dry on the palate. The gemelli was the least successful dish for me, such a weird flavor combination. The creamy sauce did not go with cherries at all. All in all, I doubt I'd go back.

This restaurant was amazing. My friend brought me here while I am visiting her in Denver and I was so impressed. I am from NY and have high expectations for Italian food and this was up to my standards. Everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly portioned. The service was unmatched. Definitely a special dining experience! The restaurant was adorable as well.

My friends and I enjoyed the July tasting menu. It was one of the best meals I've had in quite awhile. The highlight for me was the mafaldine with lamb ragu. The wine pairings were spot on. Service was fantastic and Whitney was great! Can't wait to return.

I went here for my birthday dinner with my sister. The earliest reservation they had for two people was at 8:30 pm even after I booked the dinner 1 month in advance---they are BUSY. We tried the tasting menu and I got the Reserva wine pairing with it. 5 courses with 6 beautiful pairings cost us about $400++ but I would pay it again in a heartbeat. The food was so good, and deceptively served in smaller portions. The one dish I did not like out of the five was the Fritele which came out too salty for me. I would preface that this IS how the restaurant presented it and I just personally do not prefer food that are too salty. The wine lairing they had with it was a great choice for the slaty course. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, but I'llDefinitely save up for the next time.

The food here is exquisite. Everything on the menu has a distinct farm-to-table taste and texture, which is very unique for an Italian restaurant. Their menu is small, featuring a handful of thoughtfully crafted dishes prepared using what tastes like the best possible quality of ingredients. The service is impeccable as the staff executed every aspect of our experience to perfection. They even went as far as bringing us palate cleaners between courses, brought complementary champagne for our anniversary and came over to refill our drinks the second the glasses became empty. The earthiness of the tomatoes and pecorino cream in the green-colored Gemelli dish made for some unforgettable bites, we felt as if we tasted the sheep a little if that makes sense. The Culurgiones were pleasantly spicy with had some very intriguing flavors. And the Focaccia, let me tell you is probably the best bread I've ever eaten. But on the other hand the Pecorino Cheesecake is also on that 'one of the best' list given how soft it was and how great of an accompaniment the huckleberry preserves were on it. I'll say however that in the small plates, the Grilled Spanish Octopus left something to be desired. The octopus was delicious but we wish there would have been a little more on the plate for the price. Also the cocktail program is not the absolute best, as although the cocktails were strong the flavors seemed a bit muted. But those back-of-our-mind drawbacks definitely didn't detract from our experience whatsoever. There's also a comparison to be made between Olivia and Tavernetta, both similar Michelin nod-worthy establishments. The flavors I would say are a little more amplified at Tavernetta and their cocktail program wins out, but Olivia provides the better experience and that farm-to-table taste in the ingredients is unforgettable and simply can't be beat. Olivia also wins out in the desserts category for sure. The price is definitely worth it here, you really can't go wrong picking this place for your next special occasion or date night. Reservations are hard to get, but that is for good reason and the wait is certainly worth it.
