2 stars for being a good value lunch special (18 dollars for three rolls and miso), but this is as mediocre as sushi gets. Seaweed in the rolls was tough and chewy, fish quality just ok, rice was boring and not warm or well seasoned sushi rice. This was about the quality as grabbing a few rolls from the grocery store. For significantly better local sushi, check out yuki taki ramen and sushi in west highlands.

Best Philadelphia roll I've ever had! I'm a cream cheese lover and they had the perfect amount of cream cheese! I also ordered the Spicy Girl roll and it was yummy as well! Not really spicy, but delicious. My friend ordered the spicy tuna roll and said it was really good. Quick pick up order!

Okinawa was a delightful birthday dinner that gave options for my parents who aren't sushi fans. My husband and I use to frequent one of the other location when we use to live near the tech center so I'm glad to see this location close to home was also delicious. They took a bit to get our food out even though they weren't that busy inside the restaurant (but had constant take out orders). So we really appreciated the on the house sushi roll they brought out while we waited. All our sushi was super fresh and the combos were very flavorful. My parents enjoyed their teriyaki salmon plate and our daughter enjoyed sampling all the tempura plate and items my parents shared with her from their meal.

Okinawa has some of the best sushi in the Denver area, and we go to the Golden location a lot. This location is off Tennyson and it's just as good, service was great as well. I highly recommend getting the Playboy and Spicy Girl rolls, but you can't go wrong with anything here. Definitely a go to restaurant here in Denver!

This place is in a super hip part of town. Lots going on in the area. The highlights were the octopus sashimi, garlic spicy edamame, shumai, mango roll and the eel roll (forgot the name).Pretty good service. Only down side is that the place is pretty loud even though there were not many people inside.

We were in the area after going to Feral and wanted a quick bite. I wasn't expecting much from this place but it ended up surpassing my expectations. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Theres a wide selections of rolls and kitchen entrees. The beer prices were very reasonable.We only got a few things but I would definitely recommend trying the eggplant sushi whether you're vegetarian or not. It's flavored similar to unagi which I really liked and I have never seen or tried eggplant sushi! We wanted 10 more orders of these. The spicy scallop crunchy roll was good but you could not taste the scallop very much. The shrimp tempura roll was also pretty decent. The staff was really good about allergies and were able to sub out the kani inside the shrimp tempura roll. Will come back to this place if ever in the area.

3.5 stars. Met a friend here for lunch one day, though parking wasn't any easier in this neighborhood on a weekday afternoon. Service was great, but the experience overall wasn't very memorable. I'm sure the fish was fresh, but what really stood out was the fish:rice ratio as shown by photos of their sushi. Generous portions for a reasonable price, which is even better at lunch.On that note, check out their lunch specials specifically. Okinawa seems less busy than nearby restaurants so it's an obvious choice in terms of wait and crowd. Or just get it to-go or delivered. Can't remember what exactly I ordered but enjoyed the variety in types of rolls and fish. Humble little spot right on Tennyson. Worthy contender for "everyday sushi" in Denver.

Went here for my sister-in-laws birthday! I'm glad she chose sushi because this place was delicious!! First off. Fatty tuna. That is all. Hahaha! But for real, their fatty tuna was sooo good and at a decent price too! Actually, all their food was well priced!!We ordered noodles for our little girls and they loved it! The grownups wanted to eat some too because it was so good but the little ladies ate it all for themselves. So good! Sushi was fresh! Rolls weren't overly exaggerated with a bunch of stuff inside and outside of it.Service was really great! They made sure we were doing good and that our little girls were also doing good as well. Very kind!

Delicious sushi! We came here on a whim before a open bar holiday party. Mostly because we found parking right in front of the restaurant and we were open to eating wherever. I'm glad the Tennyson Street parking gods chose this place for us. All the rolls were good but my favorite was the Shrek roll. It was amazingly good and yes it was green. Service was fast and friendly. They took us right away despite not having a reservation. A lot of people ordered take out while we were there. But that didn't seem to slow down the service. I definitely want to come back and try more rolls - maybe the location in Golden.
