The food is FABULOUS!! Everything is so fresh and the service is lovely. It's a small place but the ambiance is very lovely. You will leave having a full belly, that's for sure!

Nice little restaurant in a shopping area. Food was good. Would've liked a couple other options on the all you can eat. Like chicken Katsu. Some of our items came out wrong or were not brought out. Wish they'd label if real crab or not, wanted cheese wontons. Was a bit pricey even for an all you can eat. Forces you to eat more. $33 a person. Some hidden charges too.

I was so excited to try this place on a night that I was quite hungry. I'm happy I did not end up ordering a lot. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and a shrimp avocado roll. Unfortunately the rice covering my sushi was undercooked. If you're an avid rice eater or 'cooker' then you know what I'm talking about. The rolls were also not wrapped or cut well which resulted in everything falling out when picked up. This and the extra crunch to the rice made both rolls difficult to eat. I ended up eating the filling of my sushi. I added mango to one of my rolls which I will say added a lovely taste to my shrimp avocado roll. The avocado used was also very buttery in texture which I also liked. My miso soup was just okay (which was surprising to me because I haven't had 'just okay' miso soup ever so this was a first). I picked up my order and the person who got my items ready was extremely nice. The inside looked like chill and intimate. Though the service for pick up was wonderful, this wouldn't be a place I think of first when craving good sushi.

We came here for AYCE sushi and despite the restaurant being small, it was still packed. Service was pretty good.I typically eat AYCE sushi in the city but after coming here, I noticed a difference in quality. The sashimi definitely tasted better but the best part was that there was so many different special roll varieties. I don't know them off the top of my head but we ordered so many and none of them disappointed. The only gripe I have is that we ordered two servings of the karaage chicken, pork tonkatsu, and chicken fingers but we received so much. The karaage chicken and pork tonkatsu were pretty dry and I honestly expected chicken fingers but it was popcorn chicken. Oh, and we also never ordered any fried shu mai but they delivered it to us and just left it there even though we told them we never ordered it. Other than that, the sushi though, was great and I wish I ordered more sashimi but we had to finish the large side dishes they gave us. For me personally, it's out of the way and the only reason why we came was because we were in the area but I would rather stick to my dependable sushi spot in the city. However, if you live nearby, I would come by for just sushi and sashimi.

Oki Sushi was recommended by a friend, and our first visit was promising with a young kind waiter. Deciding to give it another chance a year later, our recent experience was disappointing. As we discussed the menu options, the initial waiter became persistently intrusive, removing our menus prematurely. Another different employee repeatedly asked for our decision, making the atmosphere uncomfortable with constant surveillance. While the food arrived quickly (earning one star), the overall quality was lacking. My fried rice was bland, and some sushi pieces seemed freezer-burned. Throughout the meal, we felt rushed, with waitstaff repeatedly checking if we were finished and attempting to clear our plates after just a few minutes. This aggressive and undeniably rude service left us feeling uncomfortable and confused, overshadowing what was supposed to be a pleasant sushi dinner.

Memorial Day Sunday was my first visit to this AYCE buffet, recommended to us by a coworker. Minado's closing has left an empty hole in both my heart and my stomach. Weekend prices are $30.99/pp. We had an average experience at Oki, but nothing special that would draw us to drive from Philly in the future. What we loved about Minado was the style of sushi buffet - where everything is made bulk and you can go up to serve yourself as much or as little as you want. What I enjoyed about this style, was the ability to try just 1 piece of a special roll before committing your entire palate and stomach to a sushi roll you may not enjoy. Oki's AYCE is the same as all the other AYCE in Philly that I've been to - which is made to order. Some would argue that made to order is better because it's more fresh - but if the restaurant experiences the same turnover, my argument is that the freshness of the fish is the same. Overall, I enjoyed the special rolls we got here - especially the Passion and Nikkou were my favorites. The fried rolls are a bit more filling FYI, we also enjoyed the Dynamite roll, the Tuna Amazing and Pina colada. As for the freshness of the fish - it's about what you would expect from a buffet. The sushi I get from my local spot is definitely more fresh - but none of the fish here were "scary" - nor did we experience any stomach bug issues after consuming here. A couple notes- agedashi was surprisingly fried well, but the sauce that goes with it is not agedashi- the chicken skewer is not "satay", just a chicken skewery, no peanut sauce-sesame mochi ball is more of a dessert (like the sesame balls in Chinatown but smaller)I would return if I was in the neighborhood or once in a while like once a year type thing - but without the other style of buffet I would likely just frequent the same style of AYCE locally here in Philly

I've been here a few times, but only because theres no other all you can eat sushi places ($29.99) in the area without venturing into philly. Its usually just oki(e) (3 stars), but this time it was terrible (1 star) and has put me off from going back.I've noticed the quality really varies depending on which day you go, and we made the mistake of going on a Wednesday night. The good:- Passion roll, the lemon is refreshing and cuts the fat and any game-y taste in the fish.- Dragon roll, it's hard to go wrong with eel (usually prepackaged precooked) and the avocado was perfect ripeness. The OK:- Salmon was not bad. Fresh-ish, but not the best. Also, we ordered 10 pieces of salmon and 10 pieces came, but they were tiny cubes of salmon instead of your typical sashimi size.- Kitchen things were alright. Tofu teriyaki and age tofu were almost identical, just with different sauce. The tofu itself is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Shumai and crab rangoon were standard. The bad:- Tuna was atrociously unfresh. Discolored and had a faint unpleasant odor. Pretty sure this is what gave me the upset tummy.- Squid seemed OK at first, but had a bad after taste. Also not fresh.- Spider roll was OK up until the soft shell crab. Same situation where it likely was also not fresh.- Service was not great, they missed items on the order and were bad about giving us the paper menu (as to slow us down from ordering?)Overall, dont recommend unless it's a busy weekend where turnover of fish is quick.

We ordered take out vegetable sushi recently only to get home and find crab in it. My family is vegan and obviously we did not eat it. I understand mistakes can be made but yesterday I placed an order on line (through their web site) and when I went to pick it up, they were closed for the holiday. Of course my credit card was still charged so now I have to go through the dispute hassle with my card since Oki does not answer their phone or have voice mail. The food is ok - nothing I can't get down the road so I will not be returning
