Oiso

We went to Oiso because of their good reviews and happened to be in Raleigh. The rolls were very good but my Shashimi dinner was the oddest I've had. Had smoked eel on it which is not raw fish. Octopus too - yes raw but unusual. They were able to switch out shellfish to tuna on 2 rolls which was much appreciated due to shellfish allergy. Definitely a diner atmosphere. And no Korean food on the menu.

one of the BEST sushi spots I came across. I was about to give up on finding good affordable sushi spots in the triangle but oh man Oiso came in and changed the game. Super attentive and friendly staff that make you feel super welcomed. Fresh fish always, NEVER had fishy or off tasting sushi here as the food is always tasting spot on and prepared amazingly. It's a small place with a big selection of food and potential. It's my new favorite lunch and date night restaurant. Typing this review right now is making me crave it all over again. DONT WALK RUN!

We came in for the first time about an hour before they closed and there was no wait time. The service was great and the waiter was very friendly. We got the spicy tower to start and three special rolls: crazy crunch, hurricane, and sweet Carolina. They were all really good. This has become my favorite sushi spot!

Great place to get sushi and other Japanese and Korean food in Cary. The service was great. Our food came out quickly. It's a family run establishment and they are such wonderful people. For appetizer, we had the tempura mix - they were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Would order them again! We had the Ebi sake roll and Tonkatsu (panko breaded and deep fried pork cutlet) for dinner. The sushi roll was delicious. The pork cutlets were also well seasoned and fried to perfection. If you're looking to get sushi in Cary, I would highly recommend this place.

After years of wanting to come here, I finally made it! It was worth the wait, because the fish is absolutely amazing.I had the sushi special, which is six pieces of nigiri, with a simple roll of your choice (salmon or tuna). Everything was delicious, except I wasn't a huge fan of the squid, but that's OK because I don't think it's for everyone.Our waiter was really nice, and everything was fantastic! Definitely recommend it, especially for people who want vegetarian sushi.

This was an awesome experience! We were greeted with a friendly hello upon entering at exactly 5pm when they opened. It was empty but that changed pretty quickly. We ordered the Tuna Tataki, Tuna Tani, Tuna Crispy Rice and the Deluxe Nigiri. Service was quick and everything was fabulous! The tuna was very fresh. We ended up ordering additional nigiri just because everything was so good! Great service. Definitely recommend!

We went around 5ish right after they opened and it was already packed! We had to share tables with another group to make room which is pretty normal. We got the Donburi and few other speciality rolls. The donburi was fresh! Although the squid was a bit tough, it was still yummy.

Unexpectedly great. Very unassuming place in a strip shopping center, but don't underestimate it. the sushi and sashimi seemed super fresh, and they have a lot of very creative rolls. I got a Korean-style bowl that was simply excellent, filled with mixed greens, some rice, raw tuna, salmon and more. our server was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable.

Very nice happy hour specials. Mon - Thursdays. Good service and selection of sushi and Thai.

Sushi was great. It was a little slow at first, the only had one server. Seem like a family owned business. The people were very nice and once I ordered my food come out quite fast. Very casual dinning experience
