Oh'Mazing Potatoes and Que

Read the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this food truck BBQ place and decided to pick up lunch on Father's Day. Called ahead to learn that they open at noon and at a different location than usual - now at the Firestone Car Care lot on Holzworth, just south of Louetta and across from AMC 10/adjacent to Home Depot. Had read online that lines/wait could be long and that good is liable to run out. Fortunately, since we got an early start, arrived to find just one person ahead of us. Owners were very welcoming/friendly. Their little daughter took our order on a tablet. Ordered a Veggie Potato and 2x Two-Meat Plates (moist brisket and garlic links, each) which came with two sides (ordered BBQ beans, 2 x potato salad, and corn). Tab came to $50, which is not bad these days. Portions were plentiful and the meats were juicy and tender - the BBQ sauce was not overly sweet; had a nice vinegary flavor to it and complimented the meats very well. The Potato was huge and very tasty - a happy medley of Cheddar cheese, Spinach and other veggies, with a yummy twice-baked taste. The BBQ Beans contained ground beef and had a nice kick of heat. Potato Salad and Corn too were yummy! The orders came with two slices each of regular white bread. Jalapeños in the photos are mine. Overall, the reviews are spot-on; one of the better BBQ food places in the area, by far. Run by a friendly family - service is efficient and you return with a nice smoky smell on yourself as you wait to have your order prepared! Love it! Please support a community establishment in these tough times - you won't be disappointed!

A hidden gem! This place is hands down the best BBQ in the Houston area. The brisket is moist, flavorful, and smokey. The beans are out of this world with smokey goodness and chunks of brisket meat. Baked potatoes are packed full of meat and can easily feed 2-4 adults depending on your appetite. Try the 3 meat plate and don't forget the chicken legs! Oh'Mazing truly cares about their customers and provides incredible service with a smile. Support this small business today and give your family a meal that will keep them coming back for more!

I had the two meat plate with brisket and ribs. They were both excellent. The ribs are smoky flavored. The beans were great as they have lots of other good stuff in them besides beans. The potato salad was awesome. Very friendly owners. I recommend giving them a try, you will be happy you did!

I am sooo glad that I drove by a few days ago and seen this little hidden gem! The food is amazing! The staff are great! And the food portion sizes are ridiculously enormous! My wife got the brisket and sausage potato and fell in love on the very first bite. I got the shepherds pie and I just came too after awaking from my delicious potato coma. That potato was absolutely phenomenal! Cheesy, beefy, buttery with those veggies were a perfect mix! Please give this place a try you won't be disappointed

Honey I be looking for this truck to be open every day!The barbecue is The Best I've had in Houston and I've tried many places this is by far the BEST! The first time we just passed it and smelled bbq I turned around and got a loaded potato with sausage & beef and a lb. of brisket.... The second time I went I had the potato with sausage and brisket, the 3 meat plate with chicken, brisket wet (w/a lil fat),and ribs and a lb. of sausage never disappointed, the servings sizes are good, customer service especially from the little lady was absolutely awesome and the consistency of great food and service is GREAT!! Try for yourself they're awesome I wish they were open on Sunday's or at least I could get a personal order on Sundays lol!

Yesterday was Mothers Day and my neighbor brought myself and a co-worker a Loaded Potato for Mother's Day. Man, I give this place a 10 stars! Brisket so good, so moist. My wife loves this place! She says it's the best brisket she has tasted around here! The sides are excellent! This definitely beats spring creek, Rudy's and all the other bbq establishments! Y'all need to upgrade to a restaurant. Like that Mad Tv skit "Eugene Struthers interview Xzibit and the rock". Getting a restaurant will Take it a whole nutha level!"

Today was the day! Either I miss them due to the being closed or they are sold out.... Not today! Alarm was set for when they opened, even got there early and there was still a line!!! Hands down "oh'mazing" Got the chopped brisket and rib potato and highly recommend!!!

I have had the joy of dining on the food from Oh' Mazing Potatoes & Que many times. The bar be que is consistently the best I have ever had. It is so well flavored and prepared. The value is also so high. Clearly Leroy and family know how to serve great food and in the process they hand out joy and grace. Look no further if you are eating his food, you have found the best.

Wow! This place is omazing, purchased the baked potatoe ( enough for 2) and it was delicious. By far the best I've had in town
