Best BBQ around these parts. Consistent. I don't know how to describe the sauce... it's thin like a vinegar sauce, but dark and sweet like a KC style sauce. Try it and let me know.

So good. Sooooo so good! I had to remember the name of this place so I could leave a review. Everything was seasoned so good. & their macaroni was the bomb and I hardly like anyone's macaroni. The beans with brisket, A1. The ribs--tender, moist, juicy, succulent, falling off the bone!!! This is my family's new BBQ spot and I will not eat barbecue anywhere else. THE BOMB.COM!

The food is "off the chain" meaning totally scrumptious! The service is pleasant, cordial and welcoming. I love the ambiance. It's like a diner filled with great Ohio memorabilia. Can't say enough ... Furthermore, the food is delectable. The staff very friendly, kinda like family, to match the down home 'cookin. And, the dining experience is extremely pleasant. Bathrooms sanitary. Highly recommend this outstanding community treasure!

The brisket nachos are EVERYTHING! I was never a big brisket fan, but this is it. Delicious every single time. They also have an assortment of sauces and that's fun too.

I went by the overall rating, but looking back, most of the reviews are 1-2 years old. Apparently it has changed a lot in that time. Spent $40 and didn't finish my sandwich. The coleslaw was bleh and the meat was fatty. I have zero desire to eat here ever again. They were also out of Brunswick stew, which may be a blessing since the rest of the food was edible, but not worth the calories. Fries were average at best. I'm so disappointed and sad that we don't have a decent bbq place right down the road.

Best BBQ Outside of Texas I have ever had!Attended a local birthday party where the catered food fleas from Ohio Hog. I was blown away by the flavors of all the meats and sides. The thin cut "rib tips" were new for me but were absolutely something I will be looking for again. I am from Austin Texas and have very high standards for BBQ, as this is the # city and state for this cuisine; and this place is simply the best I have had outside of Texas.

Came in today for my 2nd visit to place a order and the older/mature lady who works the counter always has a bad attitude or energy as if she doesn't want to answer questions pertaining to the menu or just completely doesn't want to be bothered. You can ask her the most simplest question and she will respond as if she doesn't have time to answer that question. I simply just said no thank you and walked out for the 2nd time. How do you label yourself a business but some of your counter staff completely misses every time just placing a to-go order. In a time of recession and uncertainty no business can afford to lose customers or have a bad review posted on an app that lowers your rating and customer count. As a person who has many years of food and beverage all over Atlanta I know for certain the front of the house is the frontline to customers. Your cashier or to-go person should be friendly and warm especially when you have a unique menus with sold out signs hanging up when you guys run out of certain products. From my point of view To-Go must make up a lot of your business because the last two times I have came to this location the tables are empty but guests are ordering To-Go. I could of gave up after the first time this happen but I can all the way back to this location for the same thing to happen twice. In the restaurant/service industry there are plenty of trainings all staff do periodically for customer service and or food/alcohol safety. As a business owner I would want the best fit as my frontline staff always. Those people who know how to do that well can create ever lasting memories for a lifetime or generation of customers because that visit to a local mom/pop restaurant was memorable. Please get the right staff in the front or at least have them trained properly to deal with customers who just may have a question..... A family owned business is supposed to be better than this because it's not controlled y a corporation. They can quickly fix any problems in house and change the narrative. The back of the house is only as important as the people who help customers and collect payments in the front. You guys really need some help at your counter. She will run many people away or they just may not want to return. 0-2‼ Jim & Nicks would never act like this at the counter.
