Ocean Grill

Sure, here is the revised text:Gorgeous venue overlooking the beach, with very nice clientele and design. It's great to have a nice dinner, grab a few drinks, and have lunch with a serene view. We went for Miami Spice offerings before hitting the beach. The drinks were good, but the food was okay, considering that this is a five-star restaurant. The chicken was so dry and was missing flavor. The tuna tartare was great though, and so was the wagyu steak, cooked perfectly medium rare.Overall, I would come back for the bites, views, and of course, cocktails.

Beautiful location, good service by John, our waiter. Sadly- the dining was awful There was a Hair in the scallops ceviche, we sent that back. We were later told by the general manager that "it happens." Then, our filet mignon was not delivered as requested and instead w as Overcooked. We were asked if we wanted another one, and declined because we'd have to wait for a new one to be made. Instead dessert and coffee was offered by our waiter as a comp for our experience and yet when the bill came, we saw nothing deducted- We were later informed that the general manager, Lajos Bozso, that he would NOT be comping the $17 dessert and coffee was something he simply WOULD not do. Awful customer service, condescending general manager. I'm fairly certain the Cornell School of Hospitality would not approve. Did I mention there was a hair in our scallops?

While in Miami one late night, we were craving a light meal and some wine. This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing service. We walked in about 9 pm on a Thursday night and it was full of people which I love. Even though it is located in a very touristy part of town, the quality of the food and service are excellent. The restaurant is stunning with hanging chandeliers and expensive decor. We ordered: Margherita pizza, tuna tartare and creme burle. All were delicious. Plus 2 glasses of wine and one bottle of water. I attached the list of our order.

The Andalusian crab gazpacho is out of this world so delicious! I'm hoping for this is on the regular menu in a full size . This was my first time at this restaurant ever after having seen it on Yelp many times.. when I had friends in town some of my friends would always ask for a place that has an ocean view. I hadn't stopped into Ocean Grill, because honestly the reviews on Yelp seem like the food is underwhelming . Having only been here this one time and I happened to try the Miami spice menu with a few friends, I was super blown away by the flavors of the food and will definitely be returning.

This place is terrible! Describe the food... bland and basic! That should be the restaurant name!Broccolini - couldn't make it anymore bland if you triedSpaghetti - least flavorable spaghetti I've ever hadSteak - worst steak I've had all month and I've eaten at a half dozen steak houses around the US!Cherry cake - not goodLemon tiramisu - not goodI feel like I wasted a meal and $600 on overpriced food that I could've made at home with NO spices. Please go anywhere, but here there is no way you can do worse. Very disappointed.

I usually research places to eat but my sister and I stubbled upon this one and its "curb appeal " pulled us in. It is aesthetically stunning and we were fortunate to have a high table at the window. I wanted to love the food here but found it a quite bland...perhaps I have been in Houston too long. Main entrees would not make me come back. We got the grilled lobster with accompanying spaghetti and tagliolini with little neck clams were unimpressive. They tasted.... basic. As if seasoning and butter were foreign concepts.Thank goodness we got dessert and saved the evening. The panna cotta with oatmeal crumble, figs and cardamom was to die for. It was such a sharp contrast to the entrees, the flavor profile was well thought out. I'll come back just for that... and the stunning views

The restaurant is literally less than 20 feet away from the beach, so the views are just gorgeous overlooking the ocean/sand. Plus the energy/atmosphere of the restaurant is on point as well.Their staff is incredibly friendly, and our server today, Steven, took excellent care of us.As for the food, it was solid. The burger was good, the fries were spectacular, and the Greek sampler with veggies and hummus was good too. The turkey club was just alright. Overall, five stars for the views, atmosphere & excellent service! Definitely recommend eating here.

A very posh but beautiful setting right on the beach. This was one of those restaurants that we just happened to stumble upon while walking on the path. We wanted to get a drink and a little bite to eat so we hopped in and we're seated right away. There was a person who brought us our waters. Unfortunately it was hot out and we kept drinking them pretty fast but it took them a little bit of time to refill them. That was one of the things that knocked them down a star was that they were not super attentive to refills. When they would come fill our waters , sometimes they would only fill one or two and then leave the rest of our table with empty glasses . The food was decent we just got little dishes. A drink each and three food dishes cost us 200 dollars. So it definitely wasn't a cheap stop in. But the atmosphere was really nice.

You need to be able to eat while swatting away flies. We were absolutely attacked and the manager was completely indifferent.We asked for more fans so we wouldn't have to play swat the fly while eating our food- never came.Had to ask for refills, while a line of staff was literally standing at the back, talking and watching us play wack a fly. Eat elsewhere.

Such a great place to have a great meal with my wife. Very cool atmosphere. Laid back, but classy. Food is fantastic. Can't wait to come back. And the service is excellent.
