Went for Saturday lunch, and was pretty quiet--love the interior decor and ambience, with the plants and fresh wooden feel.I had the fried fish tacos and churros for dessert, both of which were delicious! The fish was very flaky and tender, and I enjoyed the unique sauce it came with. The churros are always a favorite, and the dust coating is a nice addition. Our server was attentive and efficient, and our food came out pretty fast. This was our second time here, and we would be back to support this local business!

Great margaritas, guacamole, and service! Had the Spicy Shrimp Ceviche which lacked salt and spice. The Steak Quesadilla comes with a cheese that was clumpy by the time they served it and an uncooked corn tortilla. The quesadilla was not grilled, the cheese was not melty, and the steam was room temperature at best. Sadly, this was a one and done for me....

Discovering Oaxaca was a blessing! The Hamachi Crudo Aquachile was a refreshing starter, and a Flor Calabaza Quesadilla was my main course, and finally a delicious Deconstructed Corn Husk Meringue for dessert. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Loved dining on the patio around the plants:) Angie even came to check and make sure I loved my meal:)

One of our favorite elevated Mexican restaurants. They probably have the best and prettier guacamole in town! The chicken soup is so good!!!

I came here on a Tuesday evening. I made reservations, but they really weren't needed. We were the only people in the restaurant for most of the time we were there lol. The space is huge! With inside and outside options. Outside would be amazing for a day with good weather. The decor is beautiful and has such a nice ambience. Perfect space for date night or a celebration of some sort. Our waitress was sweet and she explained the concept and interesting restaurant facts. We arrived just in time for happy hour which allowed us to try a few appetizers and get two drinks. OMG The margarita is STRONG. Honestly, I had to let it sit for a sec to get watered down just a bit because even though I'm a huge margarita fan and tequila fan, it was a bit much for me. What was interesting was that they have a Taco Tuesday special. I didn't see that anywhere online and the place gives me fine dining vibes so I wasn't expecting to see that, but it was a welcome surprise. For food we had the flautas, guacamole, and I had the fish tacos and esquites. The flautas were just ok. I wasn't a fan of the potato taste. Guacamole was great. It has cashews in it, which is different, but it was very flavorful and had a variety of textures. I also enjoyed my fish tacos and esquites. I would probably visit this restaurant more often, but it is on the price your side so for me it would most likely be a visit for a special occasion.

I found the service here to be simply exceptional! Timely, attentive and Jessie was on point. We started with the ceviche. For $18 it was a decent portion and very flavorful. I liked the Serrano peppers in it. The guacamole is a small serving and super excessive at $18. I think they need to take a look at their pricing based on serving size.I had the fish taco which was good. Again $8 is pricey given the area + portion size. $5-$6 is more reasonable as it's a mini ish taco. The fish was bland so I asked for some peppers - the charge was $1.50 for that but helped with the blandness so I didn't mind. The mezcal drink was good but as a light weight I judge on the first drink and I wasn't the least bit feeling it. The churros were interesting with the corn husk but I would rate a 1/5. My dinner companion enjoyed them but I wasn't a fan. Absolutely beautiful interior and the outdoor patio makes you feel like you're on a tropical island. Overall great experience. Not sure if I'd return as I think while beautiful, the pricing is high relative to what one receives.

Cocktails here are very good. Our waiter was great. Very attentive and extremely polite. The food tastes pretty good but the main reason for my three star review is because of how expensive this place is. I do not think the food is worth the price. The $65 rib eye lacked salt but was cooked to my liking. Desserts were just okay. I did not like the churros.

We had a table for 2 at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, 2/6/24. Free parking in the Attiva garage behind the restaurant. It was early, so we were seated right away! Service was great. Stephanie was our waitress and she was wonderful. Cool lighting, nice ambiance. I would say it's good for a date night if you're not paying. We split 2 appetizers and a side, and each got 2 tacos. Here's what I had:- Herb Guacamole ($18): Decent portion, but $18 seems excessive.- Elote ($8): Very good!! Perfectly seasoned.- Papas Bravas ($10): $10 seems excessive, but they were good. Crispy on the outside, with cotija cheese generously sprinkled over.- Carne Asada Taco (normally $8, $6 on Taco Tuesday: Fine.- Al Pastor Taco ($6 on Taco Tuesday): Not as much flavor as I would've liked. The salsa that came on the side (I put it on both tacos) was very flavorful, but spicy.Overall, great service, with average food at a high price. Nice to try once, but I don't feel the need to go back.

The restaurant boasts a charming ambiance and attentive staff. My wife savored a fresh and creamy horchata, while I relished the perfectly balanced Vida Oaxaca cocktail, showcasing just the right amount of mezcal. However, the culinary experience fell short. While the handmade tortillas were commendable and the ingredients fresh, the seasoning lacked the boldness expected from a place named Oaxaca. The tlayuda lacked the signature asiento flavor, and the quesadilla begged for more epazote and quesillo, with a discernible absence of cheese. The disappointment peaked with the salsas. Despite being touted as the spiciest options, neither the chile de árbol nor the habanero salsa lived up to expectations. The lazy choice of using mayo instead of confit chiles was not only a departure from tradition but also rendered the salsa less spicy and downright disgusting as a tableside salsa, unfit for anything other than street corn. The tatemada salsa offered little reprieve, resembling bottled texmex salsa. Only the guacamole salsa accompanying the quesadilla managed to salvage some flavor, albeit lacking in heat.Would I revisit? Unlikely. While the drinks may tempt a return, the inflated prices coupled with lackluster seasoning and dismal salsa options leave much to be desired.

One & only time I will go. The food was great however the service was horrible . my husband and I sat at the bar to grab a drink & to start off the guy at the bar barely acknowledged us. We asked for drinks & shortly after another couple sat next to us . He immediately approached them and even gave the lady a purse stand while I had mine on the bar & he never offered me one . It took him almost 20 to 30 minutes to even ask again if we were okay or if we wanted any food . We ended ordering something small and left. It was such a bad experience & would come back because of that. Its such a nice restaurant but def needs nicer staff
