What a TERRIBLE breakfast . The sausage tasted like game meat. Everything was old and tough . The service wasn't bad , pretty friendly . The place looks amazing and has many cool rooms to eat . The lunch didn't look bad but I didn't stick around to see .

The breakfast is Buffay because $10 it's barely warm and when it's getting closer to the end of the breakfast time they rush you to get food but they don't want to offer you lunch The staff was rude I would never recommend this place to any one Christi the server was very rude also. Will not recommend this place in the near future.

We were coming in to houston from san antonio and we stopped at oakridge restaurant and may i just say that the breakfast food was amazing. my favorite was the biscuits and the scrambled eggs. we came just at the end of breakfast when they started taking lunch out. that also looked amazing and my family and i decided to come back on our way back to san antonio. they had country music playing and there was a cute little shop in the front. the staff at the buffet were so nice and welcoming. I hate reading all of these bad reviews because i loved the service and the food and i hate how people didn't love it as much as my family and i did.

When the tuna salad is the tastiest item on the buffet, there is a problem. Instant mashed potatoes is a no go for any eating establishment. Two stars because the service was spectacular. Needs a new Head Cook.

I wouldn't say the greatest service ever but the food made up for that. Some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Sides were great as well. There was a buffet option for around $17. The other side of the restaurant was a store and also sold bread and some pastries. Good place to stop when passing through

Stopped by on impromptu visit. Had the buffet which included soup and salad no drink for $17.99. Price is well worth in considering you get a lot of options to choose from. The food was warm and seasoned well. Desserts were also delicious. Place does look a little like Cracker Barrel but more rustic. Service was not bad considering they only had one cook today keeping everything stocked and doing to go orders. Definitely recommend.

Have not eaten here in a few years. Stopped in for Sunday breakfast- just as I remembered.Clean, great food and service.Will come back more often when in the area.

We stopped by today (9/4/2023) and ate at the buffet. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients for the salad were fresh, the ribs were tasty, and the fried chicken was on point. To add to the list: homemade mashed potatoes, well seasoned black eyed peas, and cornbread/rolls.Their deserts were also top-notch. (Bread pudding, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and chocolate pudding). We left overly full, and our tastebuds were appreciative.

Good home cooked food, kind courteous staff... the lunch buffet was really good.. I recommend without hesitation

This place is just a lot of fun. Great theme with a humorous twist. When you walk in , you walk in a nice bakery and deli souvenir store. The restaurant entrance is in the back of the store and opens up to three " back country " style dining rooms. Although the buffet is not our style it was very busy. We had a great "platter" and platter means big brisket , sausage and baked potato dinner at a reasonable price. The service was very good. It's definitely worth a stop by and right off the freeway. Yeeeee ha!
