Food 5/5 I've been here twice in the past few months and one to go order. Each time the food was on point. One order was pesto pasta with grilled salmon on top, another was drinks only as we missed the kitchen closing by minutes. The to go order was a tomato and burrata salad and I added grilled salmon. Light, satisfying and delicious. I feel the menu can be modified a bit. They still serve entrees with rice pilaf as the only option. You don't see rice pilaf too much anymore. It's a little boring. Aside from that the food is great. Service 5/5Every server we've had has demonstrated excellent customer service and appears to enjoy what they do. They check in on you consistently and give honest opinions and recommendations for main course and dessert items. Ambiance 4/5 The ambiance is dated. A renovation/remodel would be nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

5 star service3.5 star food2 star ambianceWe sat outside on a nice weather day, and you can tell they unfortunately do not blow off the patio or even clean off the furniture. All the chairs were covered in old cobwebs as well as the table legs. The waitress was so nice and attentive; However, the place was pretty deserted (aside from the bar full of regulars as the afternoon wore on), so I think she enjoyed our groups company. She joked with us and checked in often. We had fun cocktail drinks, which were delicious and colorful. A variety of food was ordered and while all delicious, every pasta dish was overly oily.Appetizers: The calamari was perfectly fried. The bruchetta was the best appetizer, was SO small, did not expect such little one bite pieces. The prawns in the cocktail were extremely fresh and nicely chilled but way more cocktail sauce than you need.Mains: The spicy chicken pasta dish was good, chicken had great grilled flavor, and the sauce had a good consistency but zero spiciness and very oily. The shrimp and chicken carbonara also amazing with plenty of chicken and shrimp but again oily. Pesto Gnocchi was fluffy and delicious, can't mess that up honestly. While we had a decent time, the prices are very high and you can tell that the place just isn't maintained. Would be nice to see new clean comfy patio furniture and deck brushed off of debri and bar stools inside replaced. Their little patio could be so nice in the future, just isn't great currently.

This place used to be really popular so I was disappointed to see it so empty. Everything has just gotten so expensive. Food and service were both good. Ambiance was a little sad because aside from a few patrons at the bar it was pretty empty on a Friday night. For appetizers we ordered calamari, zucchini, and mozzarella sticks- nothing special. It was good.Clams linguini- very generous with the clams and delicious sauceChicken Parmesan- my daughter said it was the best one she has hadFish and chips- hubby killed the whole plate and loved every bite. Portions of the entrees were big. Food was tasty. I was a little disappointed they didn't serve us complimentary bread but maybe we had to ask?

Food is very good surprisingly. Really enjoyed the toasted ravioli, bruschetta, and calamari apps. Ordered the ribeye for my main dish and it was pretty good. Came.with fluffy mash potatoes and steamed veggies. Restaurant is located near the water and has a very nice drive up and view from the outside. Fairly small parking lot but you can find parking across the street easily. Only gripe would be the cleanliness of the restaurant and the service. We came with a fairly large party but right after opening and it still took us a while to get our food. Oddly enough one order was delayed in our group and it was a salad. I would probably come back for the apps and the scenery.

Zio Fraedo's has a low key ambiance. Bar in the middle with tables surrounding it. Our server was excellent and attentive. He was also the bartender so he was working his butt off! We ordered the Zio Fraedo's appetizer platter, it was delicious! Everything fried and seasoned to perfection. For drinks I ordered the Birds of Paradise, tasted like I was on vacation! It's a sweet drink so if you like more tart drinks it's not for you. For main entrees we ordered linguine and clams and chicken and shrimp Carbonara. The linguine and clams was very flavorful and light. Unfortunately, the Carbonara was bad. It didn't look like a traditional Carbonara when it came out and it certainly didn't taste good. The server was understanding and took it off our bill without any questions. We will definitely be coming back but just not for the Carbonara.

Our family went to Zio's for their special Thanksgiving Dinner, as we have done for several years. Sadly it was not the same as we have come to expect and enjoy. The meals were served at barely room temperature, the mashed potatoes were cold, lumpy and had no gravy. The green beans were undercooked and had a strange aftertaste. When our server brought the food, almost all our dishes were mixed up. We wish it had been a better experience!

The catering menu is terrible, I've been here for lots of functions but the food is always plain and has no taste. I'm sure it's still in business because of its scenic location . The pasta was just tomato sauce , no seasoning, the chicken with mushroom gravy was not seasoned and dry, they really need a chef

I first had Zio Fraedo's back in 2017 for my sister's 21st birthday. I enjoyed the meal I had I believe it was chicken parmigiana. On another occasion I saw that they served clam chowder which is my absolute favorite so I went in and ordered it to go. When I say the have thee best clam chowder I've ever had I mean just that. The chowder is creamy, it's a nice thick texture not thin and watery like most chowders today and there is clam in every bite. I was heartbroken when covid hit and they stopped serving everyday! I hope that they will bring it back daily. For now I try to come and order a bowl every weekend. All the servers are very nice and I love the views you get when you dine in.
