Hit Wallys during happy hour. Enjoyed our quick stop on Webster as our pre-game celebration. Relaxed atmosphere and truly frequented by the locals. Great authentic Alameda bar. Looking for a good place to kickback with your friends or meet some locals. Stop by and enjoy their happy hour.

Straight forward dive bar with a pool table and juke box. I received quick service by the lady bartender.At first glance, I was a little intimidated by the patrons hanging outside smoking but all was good going in. Simple chairs with round tables and bar seating. Things are kept clean.They are open until 2 am every night and mixed drinks were strong enough. No air-con or table service. Go up to bar to order.

Great little corner bar on Webster in Alameda, my hometown. I think it's been here awhile but never noticed it. Three parking spots in back but someone can double park to make it a six parking lot. Make sure you know who parks there. Not a huge bar or updated modern bar but cozy to hang out with new or old friends. Plenty of seats and tables. Very friendly service and decent prices. Lots of locals hang out here. A pool table to play. [45R,2023]

My husband and I were staying in Alameda for the weekend because we were going to a concert at the Fox. Wally's was a short walk from our airbnb and we stopped in after dinner on Saturday night. Crystal, the bartender greeted us immediately and said she would be right with us, which really set the tone for excellent service. I adore dive bars and seek them out whenever we go to a town we haven't been to before. Not everyone you meet in some of these places is friendly, which is fine cause that's kinda the dive bar charm. Crystal however was so professional and a total blast. She really knew how to interact with people and I loved being a fly on the wall and getting to hear her and her regulars banter. I always know it's going to be a great bar if the bartender is joking around with locals and having a good time. If you're thinking of visiting this little gem adjust your expectations accordingly. This isn't the place to go to if you want to be waited on hand and foot. We never had to wait longer than a couple minutes for a drink and service was super fast but I still wouldn't come in here and try and order a fancy drink and then complain if it didn't turn out the way you want it to. Order a beer or a shot or a simple cocktail and just enjoy it for what it is! If you have an aversion to loud regulars, cuss words or drunks, I probably just wouldn't come here. We absolutely loved it though.

BEST DIVE BAR EVER, HANDS DOWN. Come with a good attitude, leave with new best friends. Kinda one of those hidden gems that doesn't need to be advertised. One of my favorite places on earth. Hugs to all the wonderful people who make this place so special, I love you all.

weird regulars and mean bartenders. Didn't feel welcomed and was creeped out by many people who I believe are regulars. My high hopes fell pretty quickly.

Locals type "cheers"dive bar where strangers are welcome have a casual chat,eat a snack/meal from the many nearby spots,play game pool or tunes on the juke,watch a game or light hearted show. Behaved pup/animal friendly.

Love this place. Fun vibe. Great bartenders. Type of Music depends on what bartender is working lol they have a pool table too.
