The Garden

This review is about the food only via (Doordash) My kitchen is being renovated. As a result, we have ordered doordash more than I'll ever admit after this is all over.This place is far and away my favorite for several reasons!I beg you....Stay Consistent and don't raise prices anytime soon.Just a few items I've ordered repeatedly: Chicken Salad, Brisket, Peruvian Chicken, Cobb Salad, Etc.Examples......TASTE: 5 Stars1. Probably the BEST Brisket I've had in decades (I'm 61 and lived everywhere)! The rolls are perfect.... soft inside with a little yeast and browned with just a slight crunch when you bite into them!Brisket is melt in your mouth delicious BUT miraculously when sliced it holds together so it looks beautiful on a plate! Perfectly burnt edges...QUALITY and QUANTITY: 5 Stars2. The Chicken Salad is huge and NOT just with "greens". The portion is plentiful...appears to be a full sized breast!!Beautiffuly arranged and clearly fresh ingredients..Eggs perfectly soft boiled, Great crunch throughout,, excellent mix of quality greens, and the dressing on the side is a subtle oil and vinegar that is flavorful but doesn't overwhelm from salad!The Cole Slaw is spot on. It stands well on it's own BUT as it should, allows the Brisket to shine!!! I love making sliders with the (3) delicious rolls they give you (1 Brisket slice for sliders and the other slice to devour slowly)... Can you devour slowly? I give it my best effort...PRICE: 4.5 Stars3. Prices are "Napa" prices. As long as they don't raise the prices, I'll keep ordering... allot!Ok... that's enough...you get the idea.

Loved that I can make a reservation off of open table. Food was really goodAmbiance was awesome. Service was subpar. Took over an hour to order after first round of drinks and server was not friendly. Seemed put out.

They had me with Tevin Campbell's "Can We Talk" playing in the background. Solid playlist that night! Also saw they have live music some DJs on the weekends which is pretty cool. They have a dedicated stage area where I imagine they have their performers. Great beer garden spot with a nice selection of bites in downtown Napa. Plenty of seating options that could accommodate groups of all sizes. Also plenty of heaters to keep the space warm. It's a covered outdoor space I can see it getting a little cool on some evenings. We came for the smash burgers and we were not disappointed. Hubs went with a double patty and claimed this would be our new go-to burger spot! Also got a side of tots which were piping hot when they came out. Just had a glass of Stella but they had a nice drink menu with all sorts of options. Great service, great food, great drinks, and overall great vibe here!

went looking for a nice spot to enjoy some good food and watch our Niners take home a win. Luckily we got 1 out of 2 things right that night.Everything was delicious from the Brussel Sprouts that had tons of bacon totheir smash burger which was juicy and delicious. Oh and the roasted chicken tender juicy with crispy skin that was seasoned beautifully with a hint of heat. It is a must to shareOnly down side is that the burger came minus a side and was just about demolished before we realized that we should have ordered the Tot-Chos. No problem had plenty of time to enjoy them while we watched the game. Laid back atmosphere where the whole family is welcome. A little pricey but for downtown Napa not bad and the quality of what you get does not disappoint

Good beer. Good hummus good pretzel lots of seating. Lots of daylight.Good place to come have a beer

The Garden is a great addition to downtown Napa! They have a casual vibe with an indoor/outdoor beer garden and restaurant. I met up with a group of friends on a Friday night and we were sat almost immediately. The place was busy and had a high school reunion event going on too. The menu has a good amount of options including smaller plates and snacks and sandwiches and larger meat plates. I ordered the thai-style shrimp noodle bowl with grilled gulf shrimp, veggies and a thai vinaigrette. This was absolutely delicious! I'd come back just for this meal! I tried the bee garden cocktail which is Barr Hill Honey Gin, lemon, lavender syrup and prosecco. It was a good cocktail. My friends ordered the brisket sliders, tot-chos, fall garden cob salad and pretzel. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. They have an area for events or bands above the main floor on an elevated space. The waiter we had wasn't the friendlies but got the job done.

Casual atmosphere, cocktails, beer wine and food. Sometimes great live music. The hummus is terrific with crispy garbanzo beans. The brussel sprouts are okay. The tater tots could be crispy but are okay. That's all I've had there. It's an easy spot for a beer snacks and maybe live music, so I'll be back.

Tasty comfort food in a loud hall-like atmosphere. Fun for lunch. We sat in a big booth, but there are also long tables for groups. The music was LOUD, but I think that's intentional. It was sometimes hard to have a conversation when Highway to He'll was blasting.My friend chicken sandwich was pretty perfect. If you like tater tots, you're in luck! Lots of tot-based dishes, including nachos.

This is the fourth and last time we will go to The Garden. Every time we have been there the food is great, bands great, but the service is rude and unresponsive. We had made a reservation for a party of 8 o come and enjoy the live music. The first hostess was rude and wouldn't listen when we asked if we could get a table further away from the stage since we had small children. I asked a second hostess and she was more than happy to accommodate. I felt sorry for her as her shirt caught one of our drinks and it broke. She was very empathetic and apologized. Not necessary but appreciated. The rest of the night the servicing staff couldn't be bothered by our orders or requests for additional drinks or dessert. They should honestly have the management's friends come in and experience this lack of service. The wait staff, when they did come to take your order, would just turn and walk away before we were done ordering for everyone at the table. We had to call them back a few times to complete our orders. I honestly felt like we are at Dick's Last Resort each time we have been at this establishment. Very disappointing that this is the service we get, no matter if it's a busy night or a lunch in the middle of the week.

Good food, but music was so loud you couldn't hear anyone talk. Exciting to have new options in napa.
