The Bitter Bar

Very cool and traditional cocktail bar. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the menu was carefully created.They don't offer any food, which was a bummer, but we stopped in for a few drinks and then walked around to find dinner.The prices are what you'd expect for a cocktail bar in the heart of Napa.Definitely worth the stop.

The cocktail seen in Napa just keeps getting stronger! The Bitter Bar is positioned among a strip of wonderful restaurants along Main St. with easy access to the rest of downtown. Aesthetic - 10/10 for moody vibes! I love some drama in a cocktail bar and this spot has got it!Staff - 10/10 The bartender was so helpful when picking out a drink that works best for us. There are a lot of ingredients on the menu that I had never heard of and they were the perfect guide!Our order:Sadly we do not remember the names... Let me just say, with a little conversation with the bartender, you will find the perfectly "bitter" balanced drink you are looking for!

Cute little bar located in the heart of downtown Napa. You can easily miss the entrance as it is tucked between 2 restaurants. The inside is quite small with about 10 seats at the bar and a long booth against the wall

Really happy we landed on this place after some reco's from friends. Great cocktails and solid staff who know what they're doing. I believe Brianna (Brianne?) made us some really good tequilla cocktails that helped us start the night. Perfect spot for a date, or pre/post dinner. You can tell a lot about a bar by their stemware, and they've got some beautiful vintage pieces behind the bar. For a region dominated by wines, this was a welcome change.

The bartender was phenomenal ! We had the best drinks, a corn tini , wow. This is a must stop when in Napa!

Kailey the bartender was amazing! Great cocktails, was able to make a few mocktails, and handled herself well with a few Karens. As with everything in Napa, it's pricey, but actually worth it as the cocktails are well crafted.

Great time on an Industry Night. Local feel and nice drinks. Recommend going if you just need a break from wine.

Zero stars is not an option, that is what this establishment deserves. A group of 3 ladies enjoying a weekend in Napa was abruptly ended when the table next to (who started off very friendly) turned angry as another patron was screaming racial hate speech and profanities at us. The staff did nothing to diffuse the situation, our servers only concern was us paying our bill. It was a very scary situation, which we had to remove ourselves from as the staff here was not going to ask the other party to leave. As women to have a man screaming and shouting even when outside it was aggressive to say the least. No one cared about our safety while leaving as this drunk person had to be held back by someone in his group to ensure he didn't assault someone. Horrible experience and the staff should be ashamed that 3 customers minding their own business were treated in such a disgusting way!
