I enjoyed going to this bar for a Generative AI happy hour. They always had a good respectful crowd. Locals are very friendly and they always have sports showing on their flatscreen televisions for fans. Ask the bartender for her beer recommendations and she will always offer several good IPAs. When there is a convention in town, it gets extremely crowded but everyone there enjoys the service and ambiance. Great staff

Great little beer spot with a good draft list! I got a meatball sandwich and I wish the bread it came with was not as soft because the sandwich fell apart. The salad it came with was BOMB though! Pretty good deal for this sandwich + salad combo (I think it was $11?).It was a beer + meatball sandwich + salad for $20!

Still one of the best places in SF to get a great beer, as they rotate their taps regularly. the food selection is small but good and I don't think they have bottles to go any more. The Beer Hall is a different kind of neighborhood bar and a regular stop for us when in SF.Try it if yo want to find a different beer - or two.

Love to have another beer spot in SF. I had been trying to get to this one for a while but could never seem to make it when they were open (more on that later.) Happy to say the beer, service, and space were all great. First, the beer. Several taps of local and non-local quality craft. Not a specific style focus so it should please most tastes. Prices were normal. Service was good, though I would expect that when it's not too full. The bartender quickly attended when I walked to the counter each time and was also happy to give me some info on cans they had in the back. Space was small but had a good amount of seats, so it can definitely accommodate groups. Not a lot of flair but I like things simple. On hours, they are only open M-F and close at 9:30pm. The no weekends thing seems the strangest to me, and I don't know if there is a specific reason. It's easily accessible by transit (a close walk from the Van Ness Metro) and even easier by bike with the protected lane right out in front. All that saying it seems like there would be demand. Nonetheless, make sure to get there early enough for a weekday pint. Looking forward to trying out some more my next visit.

The Beer Hall is a sweet little hole-in-the wall joint with a very nice draft beer list and just enough wines (6 when we visited) to keep wine drinkers happy. They have a short list of nosh-ables to provide a quick bite before a show in the Civic Center area. Highly recommended.

We came right when they opened. A short walk from my office and right off market and 10th, it's the perfect location. The drinks came quickly, the establishment is clean and pretty roomy given the space. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. 10/10 can't wait to come back for Thursday night trivia!

I live in the neighborhood. This is not a neighborhood that feels like home, but whenever I am here, I feel known. How great is that?!?

Everyone kept telling me to check out The Beer Hall. I tried. Many times. I just couldn't figure out where it was. Then I made an effort to look a little harder and finally did.It is a cozy beer bar with lots of great local brews on tap and a short menu of some tasty small plates. The service was super friendly and comfortable and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back, probably often.

A great recusitation of the old Mikeller space - stopped in a few times, great tap selection, good burger and Chicago dog, and the ridiculous Rosti and Roe (though that could've used salt).By far the best spot in the area.

It was so nice, my cousin and I hung out here before a concert at Bill Graham bc the line to get in there was too long. I asked for a soda because I wanted something caffeinated but they didn't have it, so the bartender went in the back and got us free canned cold brew coffee that they had gotten samples of that day Just had to leave a review because it was so nice and they didn't have to do that We were far away from home, we are from New York, so it made us feel like family!!
