SMH! FML! I couldn't lift my arm, I had pain in my knees and legs that made walking difficult, and I felt everything going on in my life sucked! Then I go out in the world and talk to people, I find out there are WORSE things that people are dealing with. An artist from Montalvo Arts showed a video to my class of a professional skateboarder without arms and legs. It's really powerful what the mind can do! That's only one of the many amazing stories I've heard these couple of months. Dang, I sound like a little spoiled brat compared to what others are going through! It made me appreciate my life more."Jen, there's a gentleman whom I want you to meet who has a Peripheral Neuropathy, very close to MS." texted my bro. "Let's meet a Embassy Suites, there is a Swans Court Restaurant inside. Pricey but quiet." With my threenager in tow, we met at 6:00 on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was empty except the five of us, and there were a few guys at the bar. We dined near the beautifully intimate waterfall and pond. While waiting for dinner to be served, this gentleman shared his heartbreaking story. He warned me about certain foods that are most likely causing my relapses. As he was giving me a list of foods to avoid, my threenager was happily munching on her Chicken Strips and French Fries. Since fried foods were a no-no, I did not want to try my daughter's dish in front of the guy telling me to avoid them! Based on my threenager's face, she would probably rate her dish 4 or 5 stars! Thinking about what the gentleman said, I had the salmon, complemented with mixed vegetables. As a matter of fact, all four adults at the table ordered the same dish. The high omega-3 protein was perfectly baked and I don't think it was seasoned with many spices. I liked that. Simple and delicious. The veggies were really good, too! Eating is a challenge with this new diet I've declared for myself (and expensive, I might add), but it's going to be a new adventure! For the sake of health I'm on a mission to find healthy foods I can actually enjoy. And it's okay to have ONE bite of something that I shouldn't have... right?!?! After all, what is life without a little sin?

****************** REVIEW 333 ****************** Located inside the Embassy Suites Hotel, nice & inviting with casual dining, next to the waterfall & Koi Pond or you can sit at the bar. I come here sometimes for Happy Hours at the bar to watch sports with my customers. The bartenders are really nice & courteous here. The food is only OK here, but the service is always the best.- Martini prawns cocktail - good size of prawns here.- Fried Calamari - good snack to watch sport!- Penne Pomodero, vegetable medley, tossed with penne pasta, garlic, fresh herbs, tomatoes, and olive oil, add chicken - decent dish here.- Prawns scampi - shrimps sautéed in butter, roasted garlic, white wine, and tomatoes - served with brown rice and vegetables - actually a god dish here.

I'm teetering between a high 2 and a low 3 stars. The restaurant was empty and they actually held us to the side while they prepare a table. The waitress had a problem getting our orders right as she recited each of our orders. It seemed a bit perplexing from the start. The dishes arrived hot and beautiful looking, but the taste ranged from "blah and ehhh" to " its just okey". If I could ver stayed there, I'd go out to eat. She did fill our water glasses frequently and not hover over us which were the good points, but the food (taste) itself was below average but presentation was pleasing. 2 salad entrees, 1 soup, 1 appetizer, 1 sandwhich and 1 main dinner entree and water for all four was $100 to give you an idea of price. But I wouldn't recommend if your able to venture out.

I've lived in Milpitas for forever and I've pretty much been to Embassy suites over a dozen times for numerous slumber parties, weddings, graduations, cotillions, everything! But as of yesterday I was fortunate to actually eat at the Swan Court Restaurant with about 25 or so family members to celebrate my uncles retirement and cousins graduation from college. Now I had no idea Embassy Suites had a restaurant because it didn't seem like it the way the hotel is laid out but shoot this is a gem! We arrived in the court area near the water... pond? pool? I don't know water stream?? thing and our table was elegantly laid out and cute. Long table to accommodate us all. Though the wheel chair accessibility was a bit confusing we were still able to get my grandma to the area safe, sound, and in one piece.Once we sat down we had macadamia nuts on the table and chit chatted away with family members. We then got our fried calamari, standard nothing out of the ordinary, but it was good, and then we got this amazing bread. I believe it's called the Embassy Killer Bread, and my goodness, it is KILLER. It was so delicious man we took some home and it's still soOoOo good the next day!We then got our bread rolls, soft, not hard, and I especially liked the everything roll, and then got our entrees that we had pre-chosen. I had chosen the herb chicken(?) something like that, rice, and vegetables, others in our party had the salmon, the steak, and some pasta. Of course in a family setting we are all trying each other's food and I can say all the food was good. I liked it actually as well as everyone in my party. All agreeing it was tasty! We all had our share of champagne, some soft drinks, coffee, and tea and I must compliment that their cold tea was actually very good. Don't know what's in it but it's refreshing with a good citrusy flavor to it. Sort of like brisk iced tea without all the sugar. Even some of my aunts enjoyed the tea!The food was good but let me tell you the thing that sealed this sweet deal was the service! Our server was EXCEPTIONAL. Now I'm really anal when it comes to dining especially fine dining (does this count?? Oh well I'm counting it) and I believe the service should be up to par with the food. No one likes the service to lack even if the food is divine. Doesn't make sense!Anyways, back to topic, our server a filipino man, seriously wish I could have gotten his name, was so good! I swear if I was the one footing the bill I would have given that old man a big fat 'ole tip! But I'm sure my uncle already did that. He was very interactive and had some jokes up his sleeve. I think servers who are genuinely into serving their customers are hard to come by these days and I can say that man was genuine all the way to his smile! He even came out with to-go boxes and no one had even thought to ask! The other man, a caucasian man, probably the manager or something, was very sweet and nice too! Very good customer service skills, but man do I gotta give props to old Tito/Lolo over there he wins my heart!I would definitely come back and eat at this restaurant, and I seriously think I will for that true to name, killer bread, (SOOOO GOOD, MY MOUTH IS SALIVATING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT), the tea, and not to mention I'd even be more so inclined to come back if that Filipino man would be my server! I just love it! Hopefully someone from Embassy Suites or the Swan Court Restaurant reads this, that man really deserves some recognition as my party and I were a good amount of people who were loud, needy, and some servers might say a little hard to handle. Haha crazy families coming together, what would you expect! And NO I am not being paid, sponsored, or being asked to write this review and say the food is good (cause it is), the bread was amazing (truly is), and that the server man was superb (He really is, and NO I don't know him) these are all my honest opinions. :)

Came here for some drinks during my my parents' friends' 50th anniversary party going on in the hotel ballroom. Not a wine drinker, so I snuck out to the bar here for some cranberry vodkas. Forgot the bartenders' name but he wasn't very talkative. I bought him a shot to take with me on my last drink for his hospitality. 2 wells and 3 shots of greygoose later, I was only charged $25. Awesome prices but not sure if I had walked in on a happy hour or if the drinks really are that cheap!

Service is very slow and the food is just OK. Servers are not attentive and do not seem to be in any rush. Bread was served after the entrees. Other tables were also complaining and asking for management.

Very much not a typical in-hotel restaurant. A nicely varied menu (charbroiled burger to filet mignon and fresh grilled salmon) all extremely well prepared and served alongside the waterfall and trees inside Embassy Suites in Milpitas. I had the Cobb Salad tonight and it matched up with salads costing twice the price. A fresh array of greens topped with half a "just right" avocado, still-hot real bacon crumbles and all the other standard goodies. I added 5 jumbo garilc grilled shrimp and it was Wonderful. My wife loved her Caeser Salad with grilled chicken. Wish more hotels sported restaurants that produced this level of quality.

Online menu shows burger for $11, but we ordered it for dinner and it was $18! Chocolate cake was different and instead of $7, it was $11! It needs to be updated. Food was fair.
